We have a 'branch of death' that's been hanging in a tree for more than a year now…it is just waiting for the perfect victim before it falls and kills somebody. You'd think with all the wind and storms we've had in the past year the damn thing would have fallen…but I did notice today that it's moved…now it's more vertical than horizontal…so it can 'spear' instead of 'crush'.
Any ideas on what to do? Except stay the hell away from it…THAT I got.

Going to go help a friend who runs a dog shelter this afternoon. While she specializes in 'bully breeds' like pit bulls…someone dropped a box of puppies at her place…she says they look like border collie mixes…a full report tomorrow.

Couldn't stand it any longer.
I went and ordered the five available Firefly figures (Mal, Zoe, Wash, Kalee and Jane) in hopes the company will make the REST of the show characters. I think they'll look good on my desk…heh.

Well, now it's Sunday. We had a chance to see a fireworks display in between rain storms last night. Husband took the drone and got some good shots.

Geeking out on the Firefly figures I got yesterday!! Mal, Jayne, Wash, Zoe and Kalee!!! I do have to send the Kalee back as her arm broke when I took her out of the packaging…Yes, I know, Sheldon Cooper would void my geek card for that…but I just HAD to!! They are now all armed (Wash with his dinosaurs) and protecting my desk as I write this! Hoping that the company will finish the crew!!!

Keep hearing about these 'pain and torture' (physical therapy) folk but haven't seen hide nor hair. Because we live so far out in the country, they'll be bringing their special 'Niska' brand of devices out to our house. Have to get the dogs school in 'attack' mode!!

So I'm getting around the house just fine on the walker….stairs are still interesting. Supposed to have some therapy providers call and come out today. Husband will not allow me with a walker on our gravel drive…a bit too terrifying I guess.

Happy Hump Day!
Supposedly the Physical Therapy people will be here today….seven days after hip replacement therapy. Now, I'd been told that P.T. would be VITAL to my recovery and would start THE NIGHT OF SURGERY…nope, no P.T. folk there… they showed up a day later. I was told the home care p.T. would be CRITICAL to recovery,…and would start immediately upon my return home..nope…that would be today (if they actually show up!)…getting a bit strange.

I got to walk across my backyard yesterday….The doctor and physical therapist said I shouldn't as it's uneven and I might fall…but if you use a popper scooper as a cane…you're good to go!
