Starting a new RWED, because there's no real point to Firefly guerilla marketing section OR the old RWED.

Only for sane people. Insane people from OLD RWED need not post, you will be ignored....

I figure the trolls will stop by and spam, please don't feed them.

Taking suggestions for thread names. What would you like to talk about??

I agree, but not everyone LIKES chat. Some people like having the benefit of thinking through answers and not typing 100mps. My main thing is just not having to deal with the meshuggeneh in Old RWED. That's all I'm trying to do. I'll still pop into chat.

By the time we are completely paid off it'll be 13 years. That was long and painful enough.

Half of the homes in my area are early 1900's. When we went looking for a house I told my uncle of one my main goals was to find us one that WASN'T and he laughed like I was joking, he didn't understand the housing market here, he's been in Florida his whole life.
Half of ours is mid-50's and the other half is mid-80's. In two walls we've taken out we found an Anna Nicole Smith playboy center and the names of the people who built the 50's half, but I knew they still lived around here.

Is yours stone side or brick? Have ye got a quaint thatch? I still don't quite understand how those work...

I've always wanted a pair of mini horses, some of the pics of the mini horse babies are just stunningly cute.

Sounds like they'll be taking off the roof or part to put it together? That's a lot of work....When ours was damaged I wanted to pay someone to do ours, but there were so many roofs taken off around here no one wanted to do it.

Another music icon of my childhood gone. Peter Tork died today at age 77.

He was never my favourite Monkee. That went to Davey Jones.

Sorry... I know I'm not wanted here in this thread and I've respected that. Had to post about this though. I don't know if I ever knew who Peter Tork was by name, but I do have memories of catching Monkees reruns when I was a little kid during the summer. I remember I kind of liked it because it reminded me of a live action Scooby Doo.

I don't really know any of their songs either, but after I gifted him with his first CD player and burned some music for him, I used to spend quite a lot of time sipping brews and getting high with my late uncle back when I lived with my grams in my early 20's and sharing music from our generations and Daydream Believer was always one of his picks that stuck with me. Great tune.

It's a sad thing when our music favorites start to pass. The Monkees are a bit before my time, but I can empathize having recently lost rock legends like Tom Petty and Chris Cornell.

RIP Peter. Maybe one day you'll get the band back together... whatever awaits us after we shed this mortal coil.

That is a good description of them. Zany situations along with some music. The show was good fun. Davey was my first tv crush. And was the first to go.

They had some really good music for the time and I know I have at least one of their albums still.

Wonder if Mike and Mickey will keep doing the occasional tour now or just retire?

Rode around town to look at models an 95% were very very similar, had the same weird triangle button to reverse the things. Forgot the oil and hada go back in town for it

We had a divorcee buy the place next to me, then she got hitched again within the year (didn't think it would take her long, just from looking at her) and then she rented it out to a couple crack heads who didn't pay rent twice in 4 months. Now it's empty again. Nice looking place on the out, 70's old lady decor on the in. You wanna move to nowhere?

Easier than dealing with the banks, I'm sure.

PS, the new mower uses about half the gas the old one did, but it'll rattle your brain out of your head...
