This was a fun game I used to play with some friends a while ago. I think we can keep the game going a while if we stick to sci fi movies and TV shows.
So, for starters, I just watched this recently, and I thought it was hilarious:
"This is the worst kind of discrimination....The kind against me!"
Name the show, and (if you are really good at this) name the character that spoke it!
Game On!
They didnt call it the dark ages because it was dark.

Show? I'm pretty sure it's Doc Holliday in "Tombstone," but I've had my wires crossed on occasion, before.
"Don't worry, if they're not chasing you after a mile, they're not chasing you." *crash* "Or is that two miles?"
Your move.

i liked it too. in fact, i own it. still, i thought it was kind of sad at the end. of course, the writers end with an uplifting scene where the two of them meet in the elevator, but the alternate storyline ending is quite sad (obviously). i look at it this way. the viewer is never meant to distinguish about which storyline is "real". they are both played as being equally realistic in the context of the movie. if we assume that, then her death is just as "real" as her survival. that makes is quite sad to me. i get a little choked up when she dies. :(

That has GOT to be TRULY one of the FUNNIEST moments in television history. When I stopped laughing, I called everyone I knew to see if they saw it. It was pure genius.

my favorite scene in that movie is at the end when they drive the ven (sp?) away and the leader guy, as he is dying, kicks the dead enemy leader off the wall and sits down while stabbing his sword into the ground. loved it in the rain and everything.

air force one? harrison ford.
incidentally, the opening sequence showing the arrest of the russian guy was filmed in cleveland at severance hall which is where the cleveland orchestra plays. the building is basically on the case western reserve university campus which i attended and i got to see the helicopters flying around and the guys running about on the roof when i was in college. kind of neat.
they did block off part of euclid during the filming process which was kind of a pain, though.okay, another one:

Pretty sure that's Gladiator. Never really liked that movie, though.. I think it's because it was similar to Braveheart which had come out a few years earlier and which I thought was a lot better.
We've got one more 13th Warrior fan here! "I wish Bovine were here.." Bovine must be one of the most ass-kicking characters ever portrayed. Good stuff.
OK, continuing the thread... and I don't think this one is very easy..

how can I be sure you found the right answer unless you post? I don't even know if this aired overseas? So, some googling was inevitable.
