Everybody run! CNN says a century of fires are coming starting with this one (not the ones last year, they were normal...no, this one is the ONE)!

The time has come for the people of California to face facts, its time to go. For the illegals, they can all just head south, everybody else, load up your wagon and go east.

I suggest Northeast Ohio. We have a mild climate, good rainfall, and the Browns.

I also heard that Tennessee is nice this time of year.

I'd avoid the Gulf Coast, what with the near constant devastation caused by the daily hurricanes since Katrina.

Lets see, I'll be glad to donate space for any hot blondes who need shelter...New York can handle the Hollywood types...and the gays can find a spot in John Kerry's mansion, or at John Edwards' little house...Ahhnold can be governor wherever he lives...

Actually the enviromentalists caused these fires.

They put such restrictions on the clearing of brush (to save important species, like field mice...who ironically died in the fires) that the fires have an abundance of dry, fuel ready to burn right up to the houses and such.

Edited to add: Oh, and I guess nature and normal weather patterns common to the region played some kind of role. But I don't see how hot, dry winds coupled with hot, dry tempatures, mixed with fires that come every year would play a bigger role then my SUV or the War in Iraq...but I'm no scientist like Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi or ALGORE.

Unfortunately for everyone, fucking with nature tends to go far out of your control pretty quick and it won't turn out the way that he is planning it.

We've talked about this before, and there is an answer that not only doesn't involve genocide or anything immediate and drastic, but there is a way to do it that would be voluntary.

Incentivize not having children, and STOP rewarding people for having them.

No more tax breaks or bonuses for people who have kids. Decouple education from property taxes and make parents pay their share for their own children. Give women 100% choice across the board on whether a kid is born, but also give them 100% financial responsibility for that choice.

In third world countries? Let nature take its course and stop meddling. If they want a seat at the big boy's table and are ready to pull themselves out of third world status, they can do their own forms of carrot and stick in regards to procreation.

Do these things and we'll finally see a voluntary reduction in the population without the need for Fauci to go and murder billions of people and potentially end the human race altogether when something mutates and grows out of his control.

I was going to say that the FED already has a savings tax when they make you count the pittance you get on your near-zero savings account interest as income on your 1040, but this goes well beyond that.

I won't bother imagining what other people would go thorough if this became a thing, but if they did that in my state, I'd be paying more for this new tax than I currently do in property taxes.

Summary: James A. McKelvey is leaving California because the minimum wage increased and he either can't or won't pay more.

In an article published in The Fresno Bee on April 10, Phillip Reese indicated that multitudes of Californians have left this state for places where it is cheaper to live. The governor just signed legislation increasing the minimum wage in this state by 50 percent over the next few years.

Restaurants and food stores will therefore be required to increase the cost of the food they sell, and factories and retail outlets will be required to increase the cost of clothing and merchandise they sell by a similar amount to generate the funds required to pay these salary increases to their employees.

I live on a U.S. Air Force pension, a city pension and Social Security. These retirement programs all have very limited cost-of-living increases that will not even come near to matching the increased cost of food, clothing and merchandise that will result from the governor’s mandated wage increase.

Hence I, and other taxpaying citizens like me, have no choice but to join the crowd looking for a more reasonable place to live. Enjoy the consequences of this outward migration, governor. You are responsible for accelerating it.
