Most of the links are out of date, but one of them should work. I hope.

The gag reel on the DVD set is a very short version of the original gag reel that the above link is to Debiji. The full length has a lot more material & is hi-larious.

I tried all of the links, but none of them worked. I'd love to have a copy of it and would be happy to pay for it. Any ideas where I could get it?

Thanks so much for this, and for mentioning it. I'm new on this, and had no idea the longer version exists.

I laughed and laughed.

Sorry to hear the link didn't work for you.

It was the only one that worked for me.

I'm not an expert on this, but I'm just thinking maybe the browser you use?

Can anyone else help?

Quicktime didn't seem to be working - maybe because I only have the free version?

I have Quicktime Player 6. The standard free version. So if you have the same, it should work with no problems.

What you might have to do is download them first to your computer before playing them from your local hard drive.

I'm stuck with a 56k connection.

What is in the reel that isn't on the DVD?

REAVERINA1985RIVIERA,

There's lots more, I'd say triple the length of the gag reel on the DVD. And funny stuff too.

I think they split it into 3 clips, so if you're patient, you can do all three in a while.

GOTTALAUGH,

I laughed a lot too. Made a copy for a friend.

I got them last night. I agree they're hilarious. I wonder why we got a shorter version on the DVDs.

I especially like Nathan running around the camera over Tracey while the message (although a different version) is playing.

Me thinks..not enough room on the DVD?

Yeah the high-larious Nathan scene was commented on in 'The Message' by Alan and Jewel - and it was just as hysterical as I imagined!

I still haven't been able to access Adam Baldwin's rendition of 'The Hero of Canton' :(

It's been a while since I've done this so I could be wrong (but someone will chime in if that's the case).

It's on the DVD with the additional special features (disc four). Go to the screen that has 'Joss Singing the "Firefly" Theme' as one of the options. Highlight that option and then hit left on your remote. One of the scroll things on the side should highlight. Select that.

I'm sure I read somewhere in an old post if you put in disc 4, go to the same 'Joss sings the Firefly theme' option and press 6 you should go straight to it. I havn't had a chance to test it though so I might be wrong. I lent out my DVD's to a friend. Didn't realise quite how much I'd miss them!

Oh man.
I've had the DVD's almost since the day they came out, and i haven't seen that extended version until now. Many, many, many thanks for posting this! Now i've seen the first previously unseen (for me) Firefly footage in over a year. This gave me something to tide e over until the movie.
Thanks!

Press left direction on remote on "Joss sings the Firefly Theme. The fancy art on the left of the picture will turn fro white to orange, and that's your cue to press enter. Trust me, it's funny.

Oh... and thanks to the links to this web site, I was able to get 3 Firefly virgins to watch Serenity and they immediately bought the DVD set afterwards!!

Drat, they're mostly dead still. I can get a response out of hitechgadgets.net, but if the connection breaks, it won't resume properly. If anyone can get me a copy of the zip file, I'll host it.

The extended gag reel is not on the DVDs. You did find the easter egg, however (so congratulations!). The link GrepMaster provided in the post right before yours will get you to the extended gag reel (was working as of a minute ago).

Absolutely, without a doubt, made my day

Excellent stuff, shame it couldn't all be put on the dvds though.

Argh. I can download this, have the file, can't get sound though, which kinda destroys the point of it. Says something about can't find appropriate codec. Which is strange, cause I installed a whole pack of 'em.

Any help?

No sound huh.. Try downloading an updated version of quicktime to play it in. Worked for me when I was in the same position. Good luck.

Does anybody have a copy I could get on a dvd. My computer is old and should be barried in a shallow unmarked grave in the back yard. I really want to see this but can't. I would gladly send money for the DVD and shipping if someone could just get me a copy.
