Trump is innocent.
That's while he'll be fine.
As I keep saying Jack. You aren't smart or honest enough to give any of this serious thought.
Plenty of serious thought on my end. There's just not going to be any serious conversations with idiots like you about it, Ted.
I've had to listen to your fantasies on this board since 2016, and they never come true. Ever.
You are beyond stupid.
98% of what I post in these threads are not opinion pieces. It comes directly from legitimate, established and well regarded news outlets.
That's the problem right there. You have no critical thinking skills and you mistake propaganda for news. You don't have a single actual opinion on anything, Ted. You live a life where you let others tell you what to think and how to act.
I pity people like you most of the time. Unfortunately, I've had to listen to your bullshit for years now and I'm all out of pity for you.
And if you're so smart, Mr. College Educated Guy, then why haven't you retired already?
Oh... right. Because you're a life-long wage slave. How was work today, honey? It's been so long since I've been to work I forgot what having a boss was like. I know I didn't care much for it, but it's perfect for somebody like you who loves being told what to think and how to act.

Unlike you I earned a 4 year degree Jack. I look at your post and it is like your other posts. It’s nothing but misguided, desired assumptions. It represents what you want to be true, not what is. I, unlike you, gather information from many sources. Information that can be verified. You, get your information from, well, nowhere. You either make it up, repeat conspiracy theories, or post lies you hear from disreputable sources. You also respond using the same techniques Signym uses. Whataboutism and fallacy of relative privation dummy. When people use either of these techniques it is because they can’t mentally compete.
I create threads based on what I believe will happen. They are based on researched or observed information, like behaviors. You create threads based on emotion, anger and hate. My opinions, like Trump is going to be impeached and indicted happened just as I said they would. You kept posting they would not happen. So, I ask you Jack, who has critical thinking skills, you or I?

Trump had some documents? Well, Hillary had 33,000 emails that she erased (like with a cloth?) and the FBI was so anxious not to see them, all of Hillary's aides smart phones that might have had some copies on them were ordered destroyed... like with a hammer. Don't even get me started on the box of Hillary's Whitewater documents that mysteriously disappeared during the investigation and mysteriously reappeared the day after the investigation ended, and Vince Foster's convenient suicide and Seth Rich's convenient murder.
Why doesn't the DOJ, FBI, and CIA crawl up Hillary's and Biden's* ass?? Like, with an auger?
SECOND; In Moscow...
OMFG! Is "Russia!!Russia!TRUMP!!" the red herring you drag across every criticism of your beloved, astonishingly corrupt DNC/FBI/CIA complex???
You're so gorram obvious.
WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT GOSSIP IN RUSSIA?
What about OUR country, OUR existence, OUR problems? Apparently you don't give a fuck about all that bc you do everything in your power to distract every time someone shines a spotlight on the things that squirm around in the dark in DC.![]()
In case you don't click the link, here is a quote from page 21 of the Trump indictment:
54. On May 23, 2022, TRUMP met with Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 2 at The Mar-a-Lago Club to discuss the response to the May 11 Subpoena. Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 2 told TRUMP that they needed to search for documents that would be responsive to the subpoena and provide a certification that there had been compliance with the subpoena. TRUMP, in sum and substance, made the following statements, among others, as memorialized by Trump Attorney 1:
a. I don’t want anybody looking, I don’t want anybody looking through my boxes, I really don’t, I don’t want you looking through my boxes.
b. Well what if we, what happens if we just don’t respond at all or don’t play ball with them?
c. Wouldn’t it be better if we just told them we don’t have anything here?
d. Well look isn’t it better if there are no documents?
What's interesting to me is not the obvious obstruction of justice, which we know is a core part of the indictment, but Trump's obsession toward "my boxes." His sense of possession is palpable. Even though he knows better, he's convinced they are "my" boxes and he wants to keep them all to himself.
It continues to be a mystery why he felt this way.
My wife says she knows the answer: Trump is a wackadoodle and he just does weird, unexplainable stuff. Maybe that's all it is.

Quote:The choice by Republican leaders, and even almost all of his 2024 rivals for the Republican presidential nomination, to unreservedly defend Trump after he was indicted earlier this year by the Manhattan district attorney helped the former president to widen his lead in primary polls. The roar of outrage from Republican leaders to that indictment restored Trump’s grip on the party after frustration over his role in the GOP’s disappointing 2022 midterm elections had loosened it.

But since last week’s disclosure that Trump faces another criminal indictment – this one federal, over his handling of highly classified documents – the party leadership and 2024 field has almost entirely replicated that deferential approach.
Repeating the pattern from other moments of maximum threat to Trump, the GOP response has been marked by a pronounced communications imbalance. From House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Trump’s supporters have loudly supported his claims that he is being persecuted by the left.
Simultaneously, with only a few conspicuous exceptions like second-tier presidential contenders Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson, the most Trump’s critics in the party have been willing to do is remain silent and not validate his vitriolic charges. Apart from those two former governors, just a short list of prominent Republicans – including former Trump administration senior officials William Barr and John Bolton, and Senate Minority Whip John Thune – have pushed back at all against Trump’s claim that he is being hunted by “lunatic,” “deranged” and “Marxist” prosecutors, or publicly expressed misgivings about the underlying behavior detailed in the federal indictment against him.
By refusing to confront Trump or his enraged defenders more directly, the Republicans who want the party to move beyond him in 2024 may be stitching their own straitjacket. The nearly indivisible GOP defense of Trump has once again created a situation in which a controversy that is weakening Trump with the broader electorate is strengthening his position inside the GOP coalition.

Quote:Historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat, who studies authoritarian leaders, sees more than tactical political maneuvering in the choice by so many Republicans to again immediately lock arms around Trump despite the powerful evidence detailed in last week’s indictment. Such deference is “completely consistent” with the behavior across the world of “autocratic parties” under the thrall of “a leader cult,” says Ben-Ghiat, author of the 2020 book, “Strongmen: Mussolini to the Present.”

The closest recent parallel she sees to the GOP’s behavior might be how the Forza Italia party remained in lockstep for years behind former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi throughout multiple trials (and even convictions) for corruption and sexual misconduct, amplifying his claims that he was the victim of a vast conspiracy and “witch hunt.” For leaders like Trump or Berlusconi (who died at 86 on Monday) such legal challenges, she says, actually become a “juncture” to strengthen their dominance by demanding that others publicly defend their behavior – no matter how indefensible. In that way, the leader establishes personal loyalty to him as the one true litmus test for belonging to the party. (The Republican decision to replace a party platform in 2020 with a brief statement declaring it would “enthusiastically support” Trump’s agenda, she notes, marked an important milestone in that transition.)
“If you stay in the party it’s either you have to be supporting Trump or face the consequences,” says Ben-Ghiat, who teaches at New York University. “You could be even running against him, but you have to adhere to the party line: the weaponization by the deep state. That’s the sad and dangerous part among many dangers we face. Even those people are stuck within this narrative world and this party line and their targets are the same as Trump’s.”

Fuck you dude.
If everything was sunshine and rainbows under the current regime, or any time that Democrats were running the show, we wouldn't even be talking about Trump right now.
Right now it's clownworld out there. Dudes with boobs going topless at the White House when they're not recruiting kids at schools. Cops unable to enforce the law while criminals are treated like victims. Merit means nothing anymore. The economy sucks and is getting worse. International relationships are worse than they've ever been in most living American's lives.
You're the one in a fucking cult.
Prove me wrong. Tell me you don't approve of dudes with boobs having 6 year old girls rubbing up on their junk.

Quote:This has happened before. In the 1930's the Republicans were saying that international relationships were fine with Germany . . . until the Democrats ruined EVERYTHING! Same with Japan. The Republicans blamed the Democrats for the Japanese invading China. Blamed FDR for Pearl Harbor, too! As for FDR's New Deal, the Republicans were enraged by Social Security. It is a new tax and so unfair to the white working-class man and to business owners. The New Deal was worse than Communism! As for morals, the Republicans raged against all these divorces people were having. And the Repeal of Prohibition enraged the Republicans. If there had been no Repeal, someone we know wouldn't have been an alcoholic, so blame the Democrats for someone's alcoholism.

Quote:I disapprove. Why? From where I am, the people in the lower echelons of American society (you are near the bottom, 6ix, with the worthless life you and Trump have lived) look like they have frequent lapses and fitful periods of self-control and less than zero self-awareness of why their lives have gone wrong and are purposeless and meaningless. Some of the lower echelons use religion to fake the appearance of purpose and meaning. Others join the Trumptards or endlessly work on home/lawn/garden/health-fitness improvements, but they, too, are fakers. And still others get intoxicated, giving up on purpose and meaning.

You've had ample opportunity to call the behavior out over the last several years, but you toe your party line who is in full support of grooming children. You've seen the video evidence of it, and yet you only now say you disapprove when you're backed into a corner on it.

The Catholic Church is actually hiding the raping of children by priests from being reported to the police, terrible behavior I expect from Catholic Trumptards. It is what Trump would do -- be bad then lie about being good. Nearly 1,700 priests and other clergy members that the Roman Catholic Church considers credibly accused of child sexual abuse are living under the radar with little to no oversight from religious authorities or law enforcement, decades after the first wave of the church abuse scandal roiled U.S. dioceses, an Associated Press investigation has found.

Political party: Independent (1978–present). Bernie is Mr Obnoxious-Pain-In-The-Ass (Have you ever heard that jerk speak? Trump could have avoided an indictment but "Trump rejected lawyers’ efforts to avoid classified documents indictment"
One of Donald Trump’s new attorneys proposed an idea in the fall of 2022: The former president’s team could try to arrange a settlement with the Justice Department.
The attorney, Christopher Kise, wanted to quietly approach Justice to see if he could negotiate a settlement that would preclude charges, hoping Attorney General Merrick Garland and the department would want an exit ramp to avoid prosecuting a former president. Kise would hopefully “take the temperature down,” he told others, by promising a professional approach and the return of all documents.
But Trump was not interested after listening to other lawyers who urged a more pugilistic approach, so Kise never approached prosecutors, three people briefed on the matter said. A special counsel was appointed months later.
Kise, a former solicitor general of Florida who was paid $3 million upfront to join Trump’s team last year, declined to comment.
That quiet entreaty last fall was one of many occasions when lawyers and advisers sought to get Trump to take a more cooperative stance in a bid to avoid what happened Friday.

The point that Tucker made was that Trump's fatal mistake was being against the uniparty's foreign interventionism.
I've seen that in so many USA and foreign politicians. You can pretend to be a populist, you can pretend to be a liberal, you can pretend to be a nationalist or a conservative or an environmentalist, but the ONE THING you can't do is cross the transnationalist borg-like desire to engulf every nation.
Italy's Meloni ran on a conservative nationalist agenda but sucks up to NATO and the USA. Germany's Green Party, initially antiwar, is all about stopping climate change... unless it crosses their warmongering agenda, then it goes out the window! de Santis says conservative -sounding things EXCEPT he will not go against our regime-change/destroy Russia agenda abroad.
Foreign policy, for me, is THE criterion for Presidential candidates, and it should be for everyone bc our aggressive foreign policy affects everything: budget, climate change, trade, domestic surveillance, freedom of speech etc. Plus, it is the President's (almost) sole purview.

Trump speaks next: "We should have never been in Iraq."
Signym, when Trump said that in 2016, the majority of Americans were opposed to the Iraq War. When it would have made a difference in 2002, Trump was for the Iraq War. In other words, Tucker is full of bullshit with his explanation of why Trump was indicted. The truth is the same one that Trump's $3,000,000 lawyer, Christopher Kise, spoke to his client: After you give back the top-secrets, I can make your problems with the DOJ go away. If you won't give back the top-secrets, the DOJ will be forced to stomp on you. They can NOT let you continue to show strangers top-secrets and they can NOT ignore what you are doing if you won't stop doing it. Now is the time to stop. If you refuse because you believe these top-secret documents belong to you, you will be indicted.
FYI, Mr Trump, your $3 million is in my bank account. If I hadn't already been paid, I'd be telling you what you want to hear, the same as lawyers who have not yet been paid and want to fight the DOJ for many years in order to bill you $1,500 per hour.

The article gets to the heart of what is wrong with Trump, his Trumptards, Putin, and his Russian supporters. They aren't always lying but they are always full of bullshit. They misunderstand the concepts of true vs false, real vs imaginary, good vs evil, sense vs nonsense. With these people, sometimes they look retarded, sometimes they look like liars, sometimes they look like Nazis trying to impersonate decent people, but they really are full of bullshit, which ruins their lives and happiness.

The description of a Trump or Putin supporter is dead on. What's missing is that if they get what they want it will destroy everything. Even their lives. Yet they fight fervently for them.
Maybe that is what they really want, because they hate not only how the world works but themselves as well. They're fighting to get an authoritarian who cares about no one, that’s in the authoritarian job description hand book, established in this country.
A guy who has betrayed everyone in his orbit. Wait until the evidence comes out in the documents trial. It's his own people who are testifying against him, Republicans, staff members’ lawyers and family. Same as the Jan 6th committee. Most who testified, 90 + percent, were Republican who worked with or felt Trumps wrath for not helping him steal an election. He ruined so many of their reputations and livelihoods.

Donald Trump Keeps Digging a Deeper Hole for Himself
Former President Donald Trump could be ordered to pay E. Jean Carroll up to $100 million if a jury rules in her favor in the second defamation lawsuit she filed against him, according to a legal expert.
A jury in Manhattan already ruled in Carroll's favor last month in a civil defamation suit against Trump. Carroll had previously accused the former president of raping her in a department store changing room in the mid-1990s and later sued him for defamation after he accused her of lying about the encounter. The jury found Trump civilly liable on charges related to sexually abusing Carroll but not rape, and Carroll was rewarded $5 million in damages.
Last week, a federal judge allowed Carroll to amend a pending defamation lawsuit against Trump after he made more disparaging comments about her following the previous defamation decision. Though she is seeking an additional $10 million in monetary damages, she could potentially be awarded much more.
According to a Friday story in The New York Times, "Benjamin Zipursky, a Fordham Law School professor, said U.S. Supreme Court precedent has suggested that punitive damages should not exceed 10 times the compensatory damages. Using that as a guide, if Ms. Carroll obtained the $10 million in compensatory damages she seeks, a $100 million punitive damages award might be upheld."
Legal experts have said Trump is at risk of losing the second defamation case — which is scheduled to begin in January 2024 — since one jury has already found him liable. But could he really be on the line for $100 million?
Matthew Barhoma, Los Angeles defense lawyer with Barhoma Law, P.C., told Newsweek that "there are different methods to measure damages."
"There are expectation damages, which are intended to make a plaintiff, like E. Jean Carroll, whole. And there are punitive damages, which are intended to punish and deter the defendant, like Donald Trump," Barhoma said. "So if E. Jean Carroll is awarded $10 Million in expectation damages, Trump may be looking at a potential $90 million award for the alleged defamation because of punitive damages."
He continued, "Generally speaking, punitive damages can be a nine-time multiplier of expectation damages. Even more, what 'punishment' looks like in every case is different. And here, the person the system would look to punish is Donald Trump, who may be a lot more wealthy than the average defendant. As such, if the goal is to punish Trump, then a large punitive damages may be in place to deter conduct."
Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani said Trump may be hit with a costly punishment by a jury, but their figure may not be the final penalty.
"The Supreme Court has held that a double-digit multiplier for punitive damages is excessive, so any 9-figure punitive damages award would likely be reduced by the court," Rahmani told Newsweek.
Even still, Rahmani said that while "it's impossible to know what a jury will do," he "wouldn't be surprised if Carroll is awarded tens of millions of dollars.
"Trump doubling down on his defamatory statements is a mistake and may subject him to even further liability," he added.
Newsweek reached out to a representative for Trump via email for comment.

"Far beyond simple narcissism": Why Donald Trump can't simply keep quiet — even when facing prison
Dr. Justin Frank, author of the book "Trump on the Couch," explains that Trump is ruining his legal defense.
Trump has been told by his personal attorneys to be quiet. Trump has also received the same advice, publicly and for free, from other attorneys and experts in the law. It would appear, however, that Donald Trump can't be quiet.
For example, in a Tuesday morning post on his Truth Social website, Trump raged against special counsel Jack Smith, threatening his family like some type of mafia boss:
COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN TO THE DERANGED, TRUMP HATING JACK SMITH, HIS FAMILY, AND HIS FRIENDS, THAT AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, I COME UNDER THE PRESIDENTIAL RECORDS ACT, AS AFFIRMED BY THE CLINTON SOCKS CASE, NOT BY THIS PSYCHOS' FANTASY OF THE NEVER USED BEFORE ESPIONAGE ACT OF 1917.
In an audio recording that was recently obtained by CNN, the former president basically admitted that the documents he had in his possession were in fact classified and that he has no right to keep them.
I asked Dr. Justin Frank, author of the book "Trump on the Couch," for his thoughts about the CNN recording of Trump talking about the top secret and other classified documents in his possession. He told me via email that "Trump's behavior is far beyond simple narcissism."
Donald Trump's attachment to his boxes reminds me of a humorous list sent to me about dogs' attitudes towards their objects of desire: "If I see it, it's mine; if it's been in my mouth, it's mine; if I can take it from you, it's mine…" This is how Trump feels about the reams of government documents he illegally removed from the White House. Simply put, the boxes belong to him and to no one else, and Uncle Sam can't play with them anymore.

My life is fine dude. I retired at 32 when I bought my house with cash, and I've worked some part time jobs here and there ever since. I don't ever worry how I'm going to heat my house or where my next meal is coming from. I'm in fantastic shape, especially when compared to ANY Type I Diabetic in the country. I've also got some great friends.

I blame the Democrats for our country's problems. I don't blame the Democrats for ANY of MY problems. That is counter-productive at best. The Democrats are no more responsible for my failures than Trump was for my successes.
When you look in the mirror and blame the real reason for your own problems, you fix them. Until you do the same, you will never be a happy or productive person. You're a miserable little piece of shit dude, and it shows in every single post you make.

You've been right about nothing.
Trump will be fine.
He will also be your next President.

Why don't you grow the fuck up and move on with your life? You talk about Trump 10 times more than I mention Biden, and your meatpuppet President has been flushing the economy down the toilet for 2.5 years now.
You are a drug addict. It's sad. Pathetic.

Special counsel informs Trump he is target in 2020 election probe: Sources
Special counsel Jack Smith has informed former President Donald Trump by letter that he is a target in his investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election, sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.
The letter, which sources said was transmitted to Trump's attorneys in recent days, indicates that yet another indictment of the former president could be imminent -- though it is not immediately clear what kind of charges he could ultimately face.

No surprise Trumps followers will not abandon him. No surprise at all. Have you heard any of them interviewed? They all have a screw loose and show no desire to expand their knowledge of the facts. Look at Jack, look at signym. Like I said, a screw loose.
They even eat their own. Ray Epps, a Trump supporter present for the January 6 Capitol riot who later became the subject and victim of various conspiracy theories is suing Fox News for defamation.
“Just as Fox had focused on voting machine companies when falsely claiming a rigged election, Fox knew it needed a scapegoat for January 6th. It settled on Ray Epps and began promoting the lie that Epps was a federal agent who incited the attack on the Capitol,” reads the lawsuit filed by Epps’s attorneys.
Epps lost everything. His home, his business and even had to leave the state. That said, to me that's poetic justice.

The Best Way to Find Out If Someone Is a Trump Voter? Ask Them What They Think About Manhood. Republicans have been increasingly explicit about claiming the mantle of the manlier party for themselves. It turns out ideas about gender and masculinity can be reliable indicators of how people vote by party and by candidate.
“If you think about who Republicans are supporting in the primary, they’re supporting Trump,” Matthews said. But apparently, she noted, they don’t like everything about him: “They like his policies and they like what he stands for, but they don’t like his version of a masculine male.”
Democrats have not successfully deployed a different image of masculinity that could be very powerful for them and could really undercut Trump.

There's a real risk that we have blinded ourselves to think of the attack on democracy as basically being Donald Trump. I think that really simplifies in a way that, although kind of convenient, really misleads us on what's really happening. At the state level, all this would continue if Donald Trump were locked up tomorrow for any of the investigations he's undergoing. They would still be banning drop boxes, they would still be gerrymandering, and they would still be passing these toxic laws.
If we only make it about Trump, we are excusing and giving cover to many other people. Ron DeSantis has shown every sign of being someone who will attack the basic principles of democracy. He already has, repeatedly. In Ohio, [Secretary of State] Frank LaRose has been actually more effective in attacking democracy through a polite narrative than anything Donald Trump has done. He's gerrymandered the state. He's violated the Constitution seven times. Now he's breaking an election law to have a special election in August. When we make it only about Trump and those who act or seem like Trump, we actually blind ourselves to many other people who seem more sort of civil in their appearance but are just as fierce, if not more so, in their attack on democracy.
Accountability is everything.
The secret sauce of everything Republicans are doing is that they're never accountable for any of it. Every time they aren't held accountable, it's not a moment of relief for them, it's a moment of inspiration to go further. Trump is a perfect example. The lack of accountability just spurs him to go further. That lack of accountability is now playing out in every state and every statehouse in these controversial red states. They don't feel accountable to the people, and they don't feel accountable to the laws.
And whenever they see accountability emerging, whether it be through a referendum effort, whether it be through a Supreme Court, like they had in North Carolina and Ohio for a short time — they'll see it now in Wisconsin — whenever they see a threat of accountability against what they're doing, they immediately work to strip that threat of any power.
"There's a real risk that we think of the attack on democracy as basically being Donald Trump. I think that may be kind of convenient but really misleads ourselves on what's really happening."
Whenever we can exert power that brings accountability, we must. We can't shy away from that. I worry sometimes that Democrats are shy to be as aggressive as the other side. But if you are a prosecutor and you have a case that you can bring, like we're seeing in Atlanta, knowing that many of these states are so locked up that accountability will never come at the state level — we have to remake accountability. That goes from the FBI cracking down on bribery in Ohio — which is happening, which is good — to local prosecutors, to people going to the bar association and challenging people's law degrees, to private lawsuits, like what we saw happen to Fox News. When we see accountability, it's an "aha" moment. Jean Carroll is a great example. People have to be brave enough to seek accountability at whatever level they can when they have a chance to because the right wing is living in a world, for the most part, that has no accountability. It's critical we bring it back when we can.

Quote:The attempt to overturn the 2020 election results has been at the heart of multiple investigations of Trump over the past few years. But it was more than just Donald Trump acting alone. It was also his lawyers, his advisers, and his loyal followers attempting to overturn the 2020 election results and keep Trump in the White House for another term, despite Joe Biden winning the general election. This was expected behavior because every big or small Trumptard I know, although I don't know them all, is a crook, although all of them would be offended and most would be sincere when denying that about themselves. It is so sad when rotten people have delusions of adequacy. They find the world unfair to themselves, but it is fair. They are rotten people and deserve the worst and Democrats ought to, but won't, make sure the worst happens to Trumptards rather than wait for God and the Day of Judgment to punish the Trumptards. Waiting is too late to do any good.

That Sound You Hear Is Donald Trump Screaming, Crying, and Throwing Up in a Mar-a-Lago Bathroom
By Bess Levin, July 21, 2023
On the same day that word came down racketeering charges are likely to come out of the Fulton County probe, Judge Aileen Cannon set a date for the classified-documents trial for well before the 2024 election.
Donald Trump received some no good, extremely bad legal news on Friday, when The Guardian reported that Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney criminally investigating his attempt to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia has “developed evidence to charge a sprawling racketeering indictment next month,” according to people familiar with the matter. Obviously, being charged with racketeering would be exactly as bad as it sounds—and yet somehow, that wasn’t even the worst news the ex-president received today.
Instead, it was likely the decision by Aileen Cannon—a federal judge Trump himself appointed—to set a trial date of May 20, 2024, for Trump to face off with the federal government in the classified-documents case, that had staffers and aides hiding in hallways and coat closets to avoid Trump’s ire (and whatever ketchup bottles he could get his hands on). While the spring date is several months later than prosecutors had requested, it is very much well before the postelection one Team Trump had been angling for in the hopes of putting it off until the ex-president could have won a second term and made all of his legal problems—on the federal level, that is—go away.
Of course, just because Cannon issued a ruling that Trump will undoubtedly be very unhappy about today does not mean she won’t, as many fear, blow up the case in his favor when the trial finally kicks off. (As The Washington Post notes, “In her role, Cannon can have a significant impact on the case, including by ruling on what evidence can be included and deciding on any potential motions challenging the charges.”) On the other hand, the government’s indictment against Trump is said to be extremely strong: After the charges were unveiled last month, former attorney general Bill Barr opined: “I was shocked by the degree of sensitivity of these documents and how many there were, frankly. If even half of it is true, he’s toast.” As one Fox News legal analyst noted, “All the government has to do is stick the landing on one count, and he could have a terminal sentence. We’re talking about crimes that have a 10- or 20-year period as a maximum.” (Trump, along with his alleged co-conspirator, has pleaded not guilty.)
Incidentally, the documents case isn’t even the first criminal trial that Trump will have to fit into his schedule next spring. His trial versus the Manhattan district attorney—who charged him in April with various crimes related to his hush money deals—is slated to begin March 25, three weeks after Super Tuesday. (Trump has also pleaded not guilty in that case.)
In related news, The Washington Post reports that Trump’s many legal issues—including the New York case, the DOJ’s documents case, and the possible Georgia case, and the DOJ’s election-interference case that he's expected to be charged in—are eating into a huge amount of campaign funds:
To illustrate how Trump’s criminal defense is swallowing his campaign, just over half of the money he raised last quarter went not to the campaign itself but to an affiliated PAC that is footing the legal bills. Of more than $35 million raised between March and June, the campaign received $17.7 million, according to the latest report to the Federal Election Commission. The rest went to the Save America PAC, which will report its latest finances on July 31 but has been spending millions on lawyers representing Trump and allies in the multiple ongoing cases, according to FEC disclosures.
“A lot of money is going to legal and people who don’t do much, and not a lot is left over to do marketing and advertising,” said one Trump adviser, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal plans. “A lot of the money we’re raising is

'A brilliant move': prosecutor Jack Smith praised by legal experts for deploying game-changing statute against Trump
By Tom Boggioni
Section 241, a criminal statute that’s part of the Ku Klux Klan Act, prohibits any conspiracy designed to “injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States.”
They can make out this case without proving that Donald Trump knew he had lost the election.
"As long as you can show that he was trying to do an end run around the process, you can show a violation of this statute. For example, asking [Georgia Secretary of State Brad] Raffensperger to find 11,780 votes. He may have genuinely believed that he somehow earned them, some of the stolen, etc. etc., but he knew that process wasn't the way you do it."

Trump wasn't convicted for sexual assault. The jurors rejected her claims that she was raped. Also, it was a civil trial and not a criminal trial. There was no conviction to even be had in the first place. You are a fucking idiot that doesn't understand law and I'm not your teacher.

Trump didn't even bother to show up. He doesn't know that woman, and the judge and handpicked jury are Democrats who hate Trump. If anything, the fact that they threw out the rape allegations says a lot more about Trump's innocence than Trump would have ever said in that courtroom.

The indictment alleges that, after Trump’s lawyers learned that the DOJ would seek the surveillance footage, Trump spoke to two employees: his valet, Walt Nauta, and Carlos De Oliveira, the head of maintenance at Mar-a-Lago. These two employees then instructed a third Trump employee to delete the security footage.

The indictment does something for the nation. Trump himself, and his many defenders, have repeated the argument falsely equating the classified documents found in President Joe Biden’s office and those that Trump has claimed he had a right to. Many citizens not paying close attention may have fallen for that talking point.
But even for citizens who have to date failed to see the difference between Biden’s immediate cooperation in returning the documents in his home versus Trump’s 18 months of stonewalling, here we have something new: There is simply no way to misunderstand the new, even sharper contrast between Biden and Trump: There is no report that Biden sought to conceal anything from a grand jury, much less to have security camera footage obliterated.
And by the way. If, as Trump claims, he had every right to keep the classified documents after his presidency ended, why on earth did he feel a need to destroy tapes or a server?

The murderers, over six years, were convicted, sentenced to death, and then granted five stays of execution according to the introduction to the book. It is very likely that the judicial system of 2023 is even slower than it was in 1959, which is advantageous for Trump, who will die of old age before justice is served. Heil Trump! der Führer for white trash Americans. Long may Trump live!

Quote:The reason Trump has gotten away with murder, tax cheating, rape, and fraudulent business practices is because the US judicial system has never worked worth a goddamn since around the time that Vice President Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton but was not convicted. Burr followed that murder episode by committing treason but also was not convicted because his treason, which was splitting off part of Louisiana to become his own country, failed. The legal "thinking" in the Burr treason trial was that since Burr's plot failed, there was no harm. Trump's plot failed so today's legal "thinking" would be the same. It is ridiculous that a rich American such as Aaron Burr can go free from charges of treason because of "legal technicalities" argued by his fleet of lawyers. Trump learned a similar lesson and maintains his own fleet of lawyers.

Donald Trump's PAC wants a refund from Donald Trump's super PAC:
The political action committee that has been paying former President Donald J. Trump’s legal fees requested a refund on a $60 million contribution it made to the super PAC supporting the Republican front-runner, according to two people familiar with the matter.
....The refund was sought as the political action committee, Save America, spent more than $40 million in legal fees incurred by Mr. Trump and witnesses in various legal cases related to him this year alone, according to another person familiar with the matter.
Spending $40 million in six months is impressive. That's a run rate of $1.5 million per week.

No. He's spending $1.5 million per week because you fucking goons will stop at literally nothing, including bastardizing the entire American election process and unleashing Covid on the world just to make sure he doesn't get reelected.
Period.
You're sick. All of you.

So now explain to Ted why the $5 Million to the idiot liar that Trump never met who claims she got raped in a civil trial doesn't mean a goddamned thing, and the fact that a Democratic judge rain trial with handpicked Democrat voter jury finding Trump not guilty of rape was actually better for Trump's case than anything Trump himself would have said if he even bothered to show up, which he didn't.

Trump's fake electors furious over being 'duped' by his people
Inside Trump's bid to have fake electors overturn 2020 election
Federal and state prosecutors are investigating the alternate electors as part of wide-ranging probes into potential election fraud by Trump.
Kelly Ruh, a 2020 Republican elector for then-President Donald Trump, said she was "pissed." She had scheduled a day off from her accounting job to do her political duty and help secure her state of Wisconsin for the president. But the popular vote didn't add up for him, so she didn't understand why her party insisted on dragging her to the state Capitol in an attempt to make him the winner.
“I was not expecting to prevail in the courts and was obviously pissed that I would be using a personal day off to go and complete that process,” Ruh, who was then a DePere city council member, told congressional investigators.
Ruh was among several dozen Republican electors for Trump across the country who didn’t see themselves as criminals, as gleaned from thousands of pages of congressional testimony, hearings and court records. In many cases, the electors were state party leaders, lawyers and political activists. They unabashedly took pictures of themselves and tweeted out the results of their meetings – despite warnings from Trump campaign aides to avoid the press. Several participants groused about the futility of meeting, but acquiesced to keep Trump’s legal options open.
But the fake electors are the heart of state and federal investigations that represent the most explosive legal entanglements facing Trump for allegedly trying to steal the election. Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia are investigating potential election fraud with grand juries. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced charges last week against 16 GOP electors in her state.

All the Leftist policies are falling flat on their faces. ESG is dying. Tech and Hollywood are going broke.
Methinks that it's your my turn to see how adaptable you are to the new way of things.
I'm glad that Democrats stole the election through en masse unsolicited mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting and ushered in today's inflation. It forced the impending equilibrium that may have taken another decade or two if they hadn't.
