It means we hear their claim. Not that we are going to honor it. We are running out the clock.
Why, because the allies gave Taiwan to China to reward their ROC wartime ally. What gave the allies the right to do that is to be determined.
A more contemporary legal argument suggests that, even if Taiwan is legally part of China, its people now have a fresh right to exercise “remedial” self-determination. This right rests in their de facto independence from the mainland for over 70 years, their apparent desire to be ruled separately, and their distinctive identity.
America has said many times now if China attacks Taiwan we will come to its aid. Japan has said the same. We supply them with weapons of war and are now training them to fight China off. We don’t come right out and claim Taiwan is independent because it doesn’t suit our purpose as of yet. You and I don’t even know if we are not doing that at the behest of Taiwan who does not want to tangle with China at this time.

11) The CIA, in collusion with the Biden campaign, seeded disinformation claiming the laptop was itself Russian disinformation. The major media used this as a pretext to avoid reporting on its contents and instead attack those who were.

I noted that it would not be a difficult question to answer given the highly specific account of the whistleblowers of meetings, including witnesses.
Now the New York Times has confirmed one of the key allegations. While the newspaper buried the major fact in the 21st paragraph of the story, it confirmed that U.S. Attorney David Weiss did attempt to bring additional charges in California and D.C. but was blocked.

The suit stems largely from efforts made during the pandemic to address social media posts related to COVID-19 policy. The attorneys general accused the Biden administration of creating a sprawling federal "Censorship Enterprise," the Washington Post reported, encouraging Big Tech companies to remove disfavored speech.
The pair called it “the most egregious violations of the First Amendment in the history of the United States of America.”
While the judge hasn't made a final ruling, he said the plaintiffs had produced evidence of a "massive effort" from the White House and federal agencies to "suppress speech based on its content." Doughty allowed for exceptions to the communication block, including national security threats and criminal activity.
Collaboration between the government and Big Tech during the pandemic has been controversial for years now.
In one famous exchange, then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in July 2021 the administration was "flagging problematic posts for Facebook," leading a reporter to ask how long the administration had been spying on people's profiles.
In subsequent Twitter posts, Bailey said the injunction prohibits nearly all of the federal government, including the Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, and Department of Homeland Security, from colluding with social media companies and prevents key officials from participating.

Again, if you'd paid attention when this was going down, you'd know that in those 60 cases allegations of fraud were not presented to any of the judges.
That is because Trumps lawyers knew if they filed false charges in court it would lead to their disbarment. So, none of what they said outside the courtrooms was presented as fact inside.

The Republican lawyer has faced some consequences for his antics, including facing court-imposed sanctions, but as a Daily Beast report recently summarized, Wood continues to face difficulties on multiple fronts.
L. Lin Wood became a key promoter of election fraud myths shortly after the 2020 presidential election and helped Donald Trump’s team unsuccessfully challenge the election results in court. Since those failed challenges, Wood has faced his own legal trouble. A trio of former colleagues sued him in Georgia, accusing him of bizarre behavior and breach of contract. The Georgia Bar held a disciplinary trial for Wood in May while it weighs whether to disbar him. Earlier that month, a Michigan attorney regulatory agency filed a misconduct case against Wood and colleagues for their election fraud lawsuits. And [in June], a former ally in the QAnon world filed suit against Wood, accusing him of defamation.
It was against this backdrop that the controversial attorney took a step yesterday to address one of those problems: Wood sent a letter to the State Bar of Georgia, asking that he be allowed to transfer to “retired status,” effective immediately. This would permanently prohibit him from practicing law again in the state.
It would also, of course, preempt the disciplinary process that might lead to Wood’s disbarment.
While we wait to see if his retirement request is approved, Wood is not the only pro-Trump lawyer facing such a dilemma. John Eastman, who played a leading role in the scheme to try to keep Trump in power despite his defeat, is currently facing 11 disciplinary charges in the State Bar Court of California, and it’s entirely possible that he’ll soon be disbarred.

Representing the government was attorney Daniel Tenny - who had quite the trio of pissed off judges on his hands. At one point, Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod compared the Biden administration to the mafia before walking it back.
"In these movies that we see with the mob … they don’t say and spell out things, but they have these ongoing relationships," she said, adding "They never actually say ‘go do this or else you’re going to have this consequence.’ But everybody just knows."
"I’m certainly not equating the federal government with anybody in illegal organized crime but there are certain relationships that people know things without always saying the ‘or else,'" Elrod continued.
She had earlier noted that the Biden administration had a "very close working relationship" with social media giants, and browbeated them like "a supervisor complaining about a worker" until they got their way.
"What appears to be in the record are these irate messages from time to time from high ranking government officials that say, ‘You didn’t do this yet!’ — and that’s my toning down the language— ‘Why haven’t you done this yet?'” she said. “It’s like ‘jump’ and ‘how high?'" said Elrod.
Judges Edith Brown Clement and Don R. Willett were also obviously perturbed by the government's behavior - with Willett noting that the government operated "out of the public eye" via "unsubtle strong-arming and veiled or not-so-veiled threats."
"That’s a really nice social media platform you’ve got there, it would be a shame if something happened to it," he summarized, according to the Daily Caller.

With the new disclosures in the Biden corruption scandal, the media has, again, pivoted to avoid acknowledging the obvious. It now has a new demand before it will fully recognize or report on the scandal. Of course, after long repeating denials of Joe Biden that he ever knew about his son’s foreign business deals, the media must now recognize that Hunter was selling influence and access.
So they have added yet another task: show Joe Biden actually accepting money.
It is what in literature is called the “impossible task” demand like the Slavic tale of a Tsar ordering a suitor “to go there he does not know where” and to “get that he does not know what.”
A direct bribe given to Joe Biden in an envelope or a direct deposit is obviously not impossible. ... After all, former Rep. William Jefferson was found with cold-hard cash in his freezer. However, among professional influence peddlers, a direct payment to the principal would be viewed as sacrilegious — enough for a lifetime ban from the major corruption league.
[But] Jefferson was an amateur. The Bidens have been in the influence peddling business for decades and Hunter told his Chinese contacts that they are “the best” at what these foreign figures wanted from them.
Only a certifiable moron today would deposit any of the $20 million documented by the House committees in an actual account of Joe or Jill Biden. Those accounts are subject to continual monitoring and potential subpoenas.
Instead, the Congress has found dozens of shell companies and accounts used by the Bidens to help conceal the transfer of millions to Biden family members, including grandchildren. This includes references to bills of Joe Biden being paid out of joint accounts and benefits from deals that might include free offices. At the same time, these foreign sources sent direct money to the Biden Family Fund, a financial legacy that Joe Biden would leave in the form of millions of foreign contributions. At 80 with millions in wealth, Joe Biden is likely more motivated by moving wealth to his descendants than himself.
There were also alleged deliverables. Recently, Devon Archer confirmed that Hunter’s Ukrainian clients wanted the help of the Bidens in removing Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin. Biden would later insist on his being fired as a condition for a billion dollars in U.S. aid.
For years, the media insisted that there was no evidence of influence peddling or evidence contradicting the President. While most of these reporters required little to push false accounts of Russian collusion or Russian disinformation (including the dismissal of the Hunter Biden laptop), they are now demanding a virtual confession from the President or an actual deposit slip to his bank account.
When confronted with the transfer of millions and what Devon Archer now calls “categorically false” denials by the President, the media seems positively exasperated like the Queen in Alice in Wonderland. It is insisting that the public should not assume that the influence sold was influence realized. They just need to believe in the Bidens and the “illusion of influence.” When Alice says that she “cannot believe impossible things,” the Queen snaps back “I daresay you haven’t had much practice. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!”

The FED just came out and says that it expects that all of the money Americans saved during the Plandemic is going to be exhausted by October.

Now they're all going to be tapped out in October and credit card debt is well over a Trillion dollars. That right there is not only going to put the brakes on inflation, but we might actually (for the first time in our lives) see the Reverse Uno Card put down and start seeing deflation.
That's going to kill the employment numbers. It's also going to lead to a huge uptick in car repossessions and defaults on mortgages (without any plandemic moratoriums on evictions in place to save anybody).
But at least prices are going to go back to being reasonable, and responsible people are going to have a good time while nearly everyone else is hurting... badly.
And let's not forget that the Student Loans are set to resume on October 1st as well. The average monthly payment for bachelor's degrees in America is $284 per month. The average for a Master's Degree in America is $584 per month.
I'm probably going to have to finally retire my car and get a new one before the emissions test next summer because not only isn't it going to pass without buying a new catalytic converter this time, but I have pretty much every fluid possible leaking too, including washer fluid. It hasn't been worth it to even think of purchasing a used car the last 2.5 years, but I have a feeling by next summer I'm going to be able to get pretty damn good deals.

In two bombshell reports from Just the News, we learn that not only was a prosecutor livid over the FBI's "reluctance" to pursue credible claims of corrupt Biden dealings in Ukraine (the thing Democrats impeached Trump for asking about), the agency had evidence from more than 40 informants spanning 'years of investigation,' which DOJ and FBI officials sought to undermine, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed in a Wednesday letter.
First, the prosecutor.

Former Pittsburgh U.S. Attorney Scott Brady revealed to the House Judiciary Committee that his team found enough credible evidence in its initial review of Hunter Biden’s dealings with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings and possible corruption by Joe Biden to refer criminal matters to three separate U.S. Attorney's offices in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Delaware for further investigation.
But almost immediately after he was assigned by the Justice Department in 2020 to review Biden family matters in Ukraine, Brady said he encountered resistance at both the FBI and the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s office that at times required him to escalate to his bosses in the deputy attorney general’s office. -Just the News
"It was a challenging working relationship," Brady said of the agency in testimony earlier this week. "I think there was reluctance on the part of the FBI to really do any tasking related to our assignment from DAG Rosen and looking into allegations of Ukrainian corruption broadly and then specifically anything that intersected with Hunter Biden and his role in Burisma. It was very challenging."
"I would have thought that would be something, especially as has been publicly reported, there's information relating to Hunter Biden's activities on the board of Burisma in Ukraine, that might have been helpful in our assessment of the information that we were receiving about him. I would have expected that be shared," Brady continued, adding that he encountered similar resistance trying to hand off evidence to David Weiss and his deputy Lesley Wolf in the fall of 2020.
"Speaking generally, from a process perspective, I think there was both a skepticism of the information that we were developing, that we had received, and skepticism and then weariness of that information," Brady said of Weiss's office. "I think they were very concerned about any information sharing with our office.
"It became problematic at different points, which required Mr. Weiss and me to get involved and level set, as it were, but it was regularly a challenge to interact with the investigative team from Delaware," he continued.
Second, the 40 informants.
In a Tuesday letter, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that the FBI had more than 40 informants on the Biden family over an extended period of time, but that most avenues of investigation were thwarted.
"This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is - and has been - an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family, including but not limited to FD-1023s referencing the Biden family," wrote Grassley.

U.S. Department of Justice officials corroborated some of the information an FBI source provided to the bureau on allegations that then-presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, were bribed, a former official who worked on the case said in newly reviewed testimony.
"We did corroborate certain things" from the source, Scott Brady, the former U.S. attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, told a U.S. House of Representatives panel on Oct. 23.
Members of Congress obtained and released over the summer a copy of the summary from FBI agents who spoke with the source, with the source conveying comments from Burisma executives concerning the Bidens.
Among them was the claim that it cost $5 million to pay one Biden and $5 million to pay another Biden.

"We were to assess the credibility of information and anything that we felt was credible or had indicia of credibility, we were then to provide to the offices that had predicated grand jury investigations that were ongoing," Mr. Brady, who was asked to resign by President Biden after he took office, told the House panel.
After working to corroborate some of the information from the interview summary, Mr. Brady said his team passed the summary and the work they'd done to multiple offices, including the U.S. attorney's office for the District of Delaware.
That office is headed by U.S. Attorney David Weiss, another Trump appointee. Mr. Weiss has for years been [stalling on] investigating Mr. Biden for intentional tax avoidance and other crimes.
