This will probably be Disney's worst woke disaster yet. We don't appear to have any numbers on the production budget yet, but we're eagerly awaiting that good laugh when they come out.
Brown Snow White is not Snow White.
The extremely woke actress's other acting credit, The West Side Story (2021) had a production budget of $100 Million and grossed $14.9 Million worldwide opening weekend, finishing with a grand total of $74.8 Million worldwide. Major flop, and one of Steven Spielberg's rare misses.
PLEASE Disney, release this in the theaters. Don't chicken out and put it on your streaming platform that is hemorrhaging Billions, mkay?

It looks like all of the Dwarves have been deleted from the storyline.
Rumor has it that they have been all replaced by gay dancers. And Brown White is of Columbian heritage. Maybe somebody confused the character Snow White with the cocaine Snow White.

Was it Snow White or black Captain America that I heard have had so many reshoots now that Disney is going to have to make a BILLION DOLLARS TO BREAK EVEN?
One of them now has a production budget of over $400 Million.

I do find it quite humorous that the 40+ year old women with a bunch of kids plays the role of the Old Woman That's Jealous of Youth and Beauty, but even though she's practically twice Rachel's age she's still twice as sexy as Rachel will ever be.
And you know we've had discussions on the topic of women's age in here before... Coming from a guy who thinks most women are about as attractive as your average man by the time they're 35 years old, that means something.

Snow White spends lots and lots of money and tries to save itself as Hollywood dies
Hollywood or Hollyweird culture is dead, its been dying a while, dying before Joe Biden and Kamala Harris maybe before Trump or even before Obama or back to Bush junior and the patriot act, slowly the thought police crept back in they would go Michael Moore off the stage, they came for the left, then they came for the right...yes the paranoid Joseph McCarthy was an asshole but perhaps many his warnings only arrived too early.
Gal Gadot she is fine a talented actress but its gone now Wonder Woman 1984 movie in 2020, Appears in a film 'The Flash' the what non-Binary Jewish guy 'Ezra Miller' accused of a string of crimes committing assault, nighttime burglary, giving kids drugs, disorderly conduct, kidnappings and harassment, and grooming of minors, 'Ezra Miller' the franchise killer, Red Notice they said was ok-ish, Death on the Nile 2022 Gal Gadot and a movie industry struggles....then Wonder Woman in the Shazam as a Cameo...its all dying, people want to watch smaller US indie movie or Europe indie product or watch Japan toons or South Korean tv.
Some Israeli publications and Jew media people have taken exception to Zegler's comments...so now they want Bank Accounts closed and her named banned from magazines...but PirateNews type radio about Jews involved in Media...that's just a CONSPIRACY right?
so if Gal Gadot, Amos Gitai , Natalie Portman and other Israeli actors, directors, poets, artists, musicians, politicians, ex-soliders and writers speak out against the bombings of kids does that make them a....
'Jew-hating terrorist'
...like some braindead religious morons would accuse
One thing the Jew pushing open-border the groups like the Hebrew Immigrant Society might not know is the Latino Spanish culture can be very Anti-Jew, they are also very Christian at times but also Anti-Muslim, it maybe goes deep in the history or the DNA, mother is of Colombian descent, there are lots of stories and rumors from Spain the Puerta del Cambrón called previously "Gate of the Jews" or that Jewish obsessed with money and smuggler routes helped the muslim Jihadi Islamist invader into Spain, the Edict of Expulsion the Alhambra Decree and a long bloody war of Reconquest and inquisitor and Reconquista to drive the Jihad muslims out of Spain / Europe.
I believe this actress is Hispanic maybe Colombia on her mother's side

and in many of your posts it didn't take you long to use the NeoCon Bush jnr phrase you're with us or with the terrorists
You have never told us WHAT you are? a Canadian? a Jew? an American US Citizen...if you are a radical Zionist Jew it would explain your contempt for the 'Goyim' or Goy, your hatred for Americans of the US thinking Israel is correct to bomb them.

Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu was in danger of losing
he was under corruption investigation, jail time ready
there were massive protests over his interference on the Israel constitution and there were protests on the streets reaching civil war levels, constant fights and assaults between factions, he's about to go to prison.
...and then comes his 'Stand Down' and islamic attacks...not that dumbass mohammedan terrorists need much encouragement to attack anyone.
saying little babies in Palestine should not be bombed to Death from above, their homes and towns wrecked, covered in ash and blood and dust and little children and old women and old men blasted by Tanks, bombed to from Above Death...makes people a 'Terrorist' now???

You will never have good info on the real budget for this movie.
There are going to be some numbers that came out because they were publically available information made available when Disney was applying for tax breaks for filming in a specific location, but the insane amount of reshoots and CGI and whatever else they're doing to it to try to make anybody go out and see it aren't ever going to be reported truthfully.
It wouldn't surprise me if they've spent half a Billion on this already.

I know I mentioned it before somewhere else, but did you see that after the fact I've noticed some movies had higher budgets than they were saying last year?
I remember when they first told everybody that Barbie only cost $100 Million until it was the biggest hit of the year. Then they came out at said "well actually... it cost $145 Million to make. AND we spent $150 Million on marketing". That kind of honesty in Hollywood is really rare, and it's obvious why they did it there.
That being said, if you look at The-Numbers for Barbie now, Bruce has the budget raised to $151 Million. $6 Million doesn't sound like a lot compared to a worldwide gross of $1.5 Billion, but it actually did some damage to Barbie on the Gross vs. Budget ratio.
I think it was Indy 5 which ended up adding a HUGE amount to the reported budget long after it was out of the news cycle.
... yeah. Here it is: https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Indiana-Jones-and-the-Dial-of-Destin
y-(2023)#tab=summary
Bruce now says the budget for Indy 5 was $402,300,000!!!!!!
That's fucking insane. That means with the worldwide gross of $384 Million it didn't even cover production costs, let alone marketing and the the theaters taking their half.

Did you see Rachel before and after the election?
This smug video she did on Instagram where she told everybody how important voting was and that everyone who follows her needs to go and vote... for Harris.
Then she says, and I'm not making this up... "If you don't agree with me, you can unfollow me. I don't need your business.
So then she wakes up in the morning on Wednesday and saw what happened and lost her mind.
She's since deleted this and the media doesn't help you find it. Here's what she wrote word for word...
"I find myself speechless in the midst of this. Another four years of hatred, leaning us towards a world i do not want to live in. Leaning us towards a world that will be hard to raise my daughter in. Leaning us towards a world that will force her to have a baby she doesn't want. Leaning us towards a world that is fearful.
I shouldn't be this shocked. But I am. I am heartbroken for my friends who awoke in fear this morning. And I am here with you. To cry, to yell, to hug. To wax poetic on how the left continues to fail us in forging a new path forward. This loss should not have been. And it certainly should not have been by so many votes.
I echo Ethel Cain's statement more than anything. May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace."
After Disney suffers Indy 5 levels of financial failure when and if Snow White ever actually makes it to theaters, you're box office poison. Your record before this was only 1 for 3, and Songbirds and Snakes didn't make enough to raise your value above the other 3 flops you will have had once this is released.
You are a medium talent. Your career in Hollywood is already over. You just haven't figured that out yet. The only reason you were allowed to go on as long as you have had nothing to do with anything on your part. It was just a matter of right time, right place. In a parallel universe where George Floyd didn't commit suicide by cop, I never even heard the name Rachel Zeigler.
Ask Brie Larson what she's up to these days.
Her sun is already setting anyway, but you'll never see her lead a blockbuster movie again after The Marvels. Nothing for her going forward but supporting roles, TV shows and maybe a lead or two in low-budget indie fare. And as toxic as Brie was, she didn't hold a candle to you, honey.
You might hold a significant age advantage on Brie, but when you're all dolled up you're a solid 7. Nobody is going to see you in anything because of your sex appeal, and we all know very well that you wouldn't want them to anyhow. You're not going to even get any indie work. Nobody wants to work with somebody with your attitude.

I was about to say "Oh heavens no! I don't see any black people on the cast list!", but then I saw Ali Chapman. Is she going to be the sassy black brat girl lady boss best friend of Snow, or are they actually going to make her a real person?
Never heard of the lead before, but I'm guessing she falls into that "white passable" category that they stuffed Pedro Pascal in. The one which Rachel Zeglier could have easily fallen into herself if she didn't make her race part of her introduction to every conversation she's had for the last 4 years.
If I had to guess she's got about 15 Anglo nationalities in her on top of some Latino and Asian mixed in there as well. I'm sure this had to be a conscious casting choice in light of the fact they made this with the intention of putting it out right alongside Disney's, although one could only speculate about what that reason would be right now. (My prediction: Comedic Effect/Irony).
I think it's kind of funny that just like in the Disney Snow White, I find the queen to be far better looking than Snow White too. I think this was another very conscious casting decision. The queen is downright sexy, while Snow White looks like your average looking college aged girl carrying around that Freshman 15. So I wonder if they're aiming for some dark comedy here since the whole first 10 or 20 seconds of this trailer got a chuckle out of me.
The first half had me interested, but then it turned into something I know I won't really enjoy watching. Something along the lines of those Winnie the Pooh slashers. That being said, it looks pretty damn good for whatever it's aiming to do, and I hope it does well.
I'm interested in seeing what the budget on this one was.
Wouldn't it be amazing if this one did better than Disney's?
I would never make a prediction like that, but what a Final message that would send.

There’s sure to be plenty of debate as to whether that would be a solid-versus-meh start for the spring tentpole.
Oh no. There is no debate. This is abject, utter failure right here.
Unless Snow White makes over $250 Million internationally at the same time, on a budget of well over $300 Million after multiple rewrites, re-shoots and adding in the nightmare-fuel CGI dwarves after you had to put them on top of your 7 magical people of the rainbow, a $53M opening in the US is an immediate death knell for Snow White.
RIP Rachel Zeigler's career
She should also thank Peter Dinkledge for his very little hand in this as well.

I'm hearing them lie and say the budget on this one was only $270 Million.
At that number, Disney needs $675 Million to break even.
1st weekend projections right now are $48-$53 Million.
Disney might lose half a billion on this one, not including all the extra money they're really losing because this movie cost over $300 Million in reality.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her doing Broadway stuff though. I heard a bit of her singing for the first time the other day and she is talented... assuming that wasn't just a bunch of auto-tune/dub-step/voice-sweeteners. It didn't sound like it was, but that tech is getting so good it wouldn't surprise me if they had to add robotic sounds to it now intentionally to let you know they didn't "fix" a singer's voice.

I dunno. Maybe they let her back in.
I wouldn't see why though. There's only one project she was starring in so far that wasn't an utter financial failure, and the losses on this one are going to dwarf all of her failures combined by quite a bit.
And unlike all of your examples above, she was directly attacking the public, in public.
Nobody likes her. You don't see many on the Left even defending her because they know she's poison.
But I just heard yesterday that another one of my predictions have come true...

Your very recent failure of Blacktain Anti-America managed to get $12 Million on preview Thursday and cost a hell of a lot less money to make, both on the books and otherwise.
Double Plus Ungood, Mickey.
Bruce is calling the budget $269,400,000, even though we know it's well over $300 Million with reshoots. You need $673,600,000 to break even on Bruce's figure, and you're not going to even get the $400 Million that Blacktain got.

Incorrect. I'm not going to bother checking the rest of your math after Bambi was wrong.
Bambi made $2,012,311,187.36 domestically if you account for inflation. Not over $3 Billion.
This is a stupid comparison anyhow. These movies all came out long before even VCRs were a thing. None of these movies were ever shown on TV. It wasn't until the early 1980's when they started the Disney Vault and would sell some of their classic movies for very short amounts of time (intentional scarcity).
Bambi saw 6 wide theatrical releases since it came out in 1942, so unless you can find a breakdown-by-year of the $102,797,000, we don't know exactly how much inflation needs to be applied to how much of that figure. It certainly wasn't all from 1942. And given the nature of inflation itself, it stands to reason that a great majority of that income was not from 1942. It was re-released in 1957, 1966, 1975, 1982 and 1988. Aside from 1988, it was an event every time they re-released this Disney Classic. (One of my first memories of the theater was seeing Bambi in 1982, and then I saw it again in 1988).
I wonder what happened that they didn't re-release it again after 1988.
Hmmmmmmm....
Another stupid argument from a very stupid person.
Must be a day that ends with day.

Put $102,797,000 into any inflation calculator from 1942 and you won't come anywhere close
to $3 Billion.

Based off of the CPI.
And once again, you're completely neglecting the fact that there were 6 wide releases for
Bambi over the span of 46 years, and the majority of the money it made was after the 1942
release and wouldn't have inflation numbers derived from the value of the dollar in 1942.
And so is Bruce...

Bambi in no way grossed 312.4 times the production budget. BECAUSE of the nature of inflation,
the vast majority that it earned in theaters was after 1942 (not with inflation value,
but the number they stated that it made lifetime gross).
You can't compare the 1942 production budget to money it was making decades upon decades
later without doing inflation adjustments every single time and call that a legitimate
comparison.
I don't blame Bruce for this because if he made interventions every time something weird
like this popped up, he'd probably break his website. But it is incumbent upon the reader
to use their Critical Thinking skills to know what really happened.
You are not only incapable of that, but you don't even understand what the concept is.
You are a very stupid person. Go bother somebody on your level.

I already did, stupid. And I already explained to you why that is meaningless because of the 6 wide releases over 46 years that they don't account for. It is simply impossible to know how much money Bambi actually grossed in 2025 dollars unless somebody can find us a breakdown of how much money it made every time it was released.
Go back and read it and learn about inflation or shut the fuck up. I'm finished with your idiocy on this topic.

Inflation on this movie's Domestic Take, if you're ONLY calculating everything based off of 1942
which in and of itself is over a BILLION DOLLAR MISTAKE, is over $1 Billion less than The-Numbers
claims that it is.

The actual inflation adjustment is $2,012,311,187.36. NOT $3,335,446,057 like Bruce claims.
ANY Online Inflation calculator that uses the CPI will give you my number.
And beyond that, nobody has calculated for inflation vs. the 5 other times it was released
over the course of 46 years, and that final figure is presented as if all of that theater
gross came from 1942 when it didn't.

That makes the inflation adjusted numbers for this much, much worse than I originally
assumed it would be.
I'm going to see if I can dig up actual numbers and if I can find them we'll settle
this thing once and for all.
More information from Bruce's page...
https://the-numbers.com/movie/Bambi-(1942)#tab=box-office
He doesn't have any receipts for it before the 80's, but it appears to have made $5,723,384
during what appears to be a one-week/two-weekend re-release in 1982 and another $24,960,324
in 1988.
Without knowing the full details on how much it made in any of the other years, let's re-do
the inflation math based off of what we DO know now.
FACTS
1. Bambi Grossed $102,797,000 over the course of 46 years in theaters. None of this is adjusted
for inflation, so since the releases were roughly 7 or 8 years apart from each other, knowing
what the film made every release is EXTREMELY important if you want to know what the movie
actually made in today's dollars.
2. Bambi Grossed $5,723,384 in 1982. It grossed $24,960,324 in 1988. Now we know that
nearly 1/3rd of the total lifetime gross needs to have inflation adjusted for the 80s and not 1942.
3. Bambi lost money upon its original 1942 release. Per estimates, Bambi cost $858,000
to produce in 1942. Let's be EXTREMELY generous and say that even back in 1942 they considered
a movie a flop if it didn't generate 2.5 times the production budget, even though the ratio they
needed to reach was nowhere near as high as it is today. That means it earned less than
$2,145,000 to be considered a flop. So now we know that no more than $2,145,000 of the lifetime
gross can have inflation applied from 1942.
I will state that again. Only $2,145,000 (or 2.086% of the Lifetime Domestic Gross)
can have inflation applied from 1942.
4. Though we still don't know what Bambi made in 1957, 1966 or 1975, what we DO know is that
all but $2,145,000 or less of the lifetime gross needs to be applied to 1957 or later.
In other words, nearly 98% of the inflation applied to the Lifetime Gross of Bambi needs to
be applied to 1957 and later. Not 1942.
Now.... Let's work backward.
1988 Release: $24,960,324 (24.28% of the Lifetime Gross)
1988 Release Adjusted for Inflation: $67,323,669.51
MEANING: 24.28% of the Lifetime Gross of Bambi only amounts to $67,323,669.51 in 2025 dollars.

$43 Million studio projection for opening weekend.
Blacktain Anti-America made double that at $88,842,603.
Blacktain just now finally reached $400 Million after Weekend 6, and hasn't even seen $200 Million in the US yet.
Blacktain is still $49 Million short of breaking even and it needs $450 Million to do that.
Snow White needs $673.5 Million to break even.
Good luck. You'll need it.

‘Snow White’: How Controversial Disney Princess Fared In Blue & Red County Cinemas – Box Office
By Anthony D'Alessandro | March 23, 2025 11:42am

“There was no red theater blockade due to any perceived controversies with Snow White,” said EntTelligence Chief Strategy Officer Steve Buck, “In fact the opposite, theaters in Red counties performed better than they would normally for a family/animated film of this size and scope.”
It stands to reason that Snow White’s business would be driven in Blue counties simply because the majority of theaters in the U.S. reside in such zones at 53% (as determined by the 2024 Presidential election results) and generate 66.78% of overall movie ticket sales and 63.58% of cinema attendance. Consider that liberal leaning areas like LA, NYC, and Chicago are top grossing B.O. markets.
At the same time, per EntTelligence, family and animated movies’ tickets sales come from 63% Blue counties/37% Red counties while their attendance stems from 60% Blue counties/40% Red counties.
That means that Snow White with 40% ticket sales and 43.5% admissions from Red county-based cinemas overindexed in such locations. Further supporting this: Snow White overperformed in Latino and Hispanic markets like Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix. The Marc Webb directed, Marc Platt produced feature musical pulled in an overall hefty 30% Latino/Hispanic crowd behind 43% Caucasian.

Oh... So it initially LOST money for Disney in 1942. Thank you Google AI. You've
been most helpful.

The musical aesthetics of the original Snow White and Cinderella is a part of what makes Disney’s fairy tale spoof Enchanted so perfect.
About Enchanted:
For princess-to-be Giselle, life is a fairy tale...until she's banished from the animated land of Andalasia by an evil queen and thrust into the very unmagical, live-action world of modern-day Manhattan. When a cynical, no-nonsense divorce lawyer comes to her aid, little does he realize that this joyful, wide-eyed innocent is about to enchant him.

When we think the live-action 'Snow White' movie will come to Disney Plus. Here's our best guess (for those who don't want to buy a separate ticket for each child and adult)
By Martin Shore | March 25, 2025
https://www.tomsguide.com/entertainment/disney-plus/when-is-snow-white

Before "Mufasa", Disney also brought us "Moana 2", which came to the House of Mouse's streaming service on March 12, 106 days after it first hit the big screen. The wait for "Deadpool & Wolverine" and "Inside Out 2" was also similarly long (110 days and 104 days, respectively).
With that in mind, my best guess currently is that "Snow White" will come to Disney Plus at some point this summer. If we assume we'll wait approximately 100 days for the remake to come to Disney Plus, that would bring us up to late June or early July 2025.

Be Fearless — The Lesson ‘Snow White’ Should Teach Disney
By Shirley Li | March 24, 2025, 2:32 PM ET
https://www.theatlantic.com/culture/archive/2025/03/snow-white-live-ac
tion-2025-review-box-office/682153/
. . . At the risk of sounding superficial myself, just look at Snow White’s hair. The style is faithful to her animated look, but the live-action rendition offers an unnecessary explanation for it: In the prologue, a narrator tells us that the Evil Queen made her stepdaughter cut her hair short as a little girl; there’s even a quick shot of said chop. Never mind that the stiff bob doesn’t exactly suit Zegler—it doesn’t match the character’s evolution either, with her coif staying immaculate even after she flees into the woods. More off-putting are the computer-generated dwarves, who are uncannily realistic instead of agreeably cartoonish. They pull off impressively choreographed musical numbers, but there’s no shaking the strangeness of Snow White trading dialogue with such dead-eyed creations. That discordance extends beyond the aesthetic choices: Some of the bouncy, overproduced new songs, from the composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (the Oscar-winning duo who worked on La La Land and also co-wrote original numbers for the Aladdin remake), sound a tad too contemporary, at odds with the repurposed melodies of unassuming classics such as “Whistle While You Work.”
No wonder the audience at my screening seemed confused throughout most of the film. The dwarves’ slapsticky introduction, with them bumbling and falling over one another in the mines, didn’t elicit laughter; their jarring, waxy appearances made a child behind me yelp in fright. The Evil Queen’s solo tune, which Gadot strains to sing, ends with a big finish that left my theater completely silent—not in awe, but in apathy. Later, an ostensibly inspiring moment featuring one of the dwarves failed to draw the round of applause it seemed intended to encourage. The women next to me descended into a fit of giggles instead, while some people in the crowd gasped, alarmed at the scene’s out-of-nowhere reveal. (I was one of them.)
I like when Disney’s live-action remakes surprise me—I’d just prefer that they do so on purpose. They already tend to be safe bets for the studio, built for younger audiences while attracting adults who grew up with the animated features. But save for a handful of true reimaginings—Tim Burton’s introspective take on Dumbo in 2019, or Niki Caro’s martial-arts-heavy Mulan from 2020, which went underseen largely because of COVID-19 restrictions—the bulk of these endeavors have been copy-and-paste jobs. They’re costly projects that may draw crowds based on name recognition alone, but what if they conjured magic rather than mere nostalgia? Let’s see the Evil Queen be materialistic and not just talk-sing about it. Let’s make the forest actually enchanted and not just the backdrop for cuddly woodland creatures. Let’s try giving Snow White some more of the horror shading the Brothers Grimm gave the fairy tale. The princess already “dies,” after all.
Besides, as serviceable as these half-hearted adaptations may be to theatergoers, they tend to waste the talent involved. Gifted composers have to assemble pale imitations of popular musical numbers, accomplished visual-effects artists spend months making facsimiles of scenes that will always look more kinetic in cartoon form, and the actors, especially when they don’t look exactly like their two-dimensional counterparts, are sometimes targeted by outrage-prone corners of the internet. As Disney prepares to roll out more live-action versions of its animated classics—Moana hits theaters next year, and there are adaptations of Robin Hood, The Aristocats, and Bambi in the works—the company could stand to learn from Snow White herself. In the remake’s climax, Zegler’s protagonist urges her kingdom’s people to remember how they lived before the Evil Queen ruled; they once pursued their passions, and used to be courageous. Snow White chooses to be fearless. A studio can too—even if this one so

‘The Studio’ is the defining portrait of modern Hollywood
Matthew Belloni, the former editor of The Hollywood Reporter and founding partner of the media company Puck, appears as himself in the series. He says that there’s truth underlying almost every scene in “The Studio,” “for better and mostly worse.”
“It captures the existential dread that seems to permeate every conversation,” says Belloni. “People recognize that the glory days of Hollywood are over, and the whole concept of what Hollywood even means is being redefined. And that has caused everybody in town to go completely crazy. This show captures that craziness very, very well.”

10 Valid Reasons the Reviews for Snow White Are So Bad
By Renaldo Matadeen | March 26, 2025

#8 Snow White's Father Is Treated Like a Throwaway Character
This new film has the King going missing when visiting another Kingdom in the opening act. The evil stepmother later confirms in Snow White's ending that she killed him off-screen. It's such a big part of the movie, only to then be played off in a throwaway line.
It's meant to break hope in Rachel Zegler's Snow White, but there's no telling if the Evil Queen really did it, or how. A flashback would have been cool. Seeing as the Evil Queen uses black magic, conjuring up the past could have terrified the princess and crushed her spirit. Seeing him begging for his daughter to remain safe would have added nuance for critics. This is another new cut added, only to end up so underdeveloped.

The fact that you don't care is irrelevant.
You told me I was wrong over and over and over again, and you cited Bruce's numbers as the reason I was wrong, while telling me that I was pulling numbers out of my ass (which I proved was not the case). I told you again and again, why you were wrong and why citing Bruce's numbers was a mistake. I even gave Bruce the benefit of the doubt about this and said that if he put in ways to try to fix this for each and every movie that had strange quirks like this than he would probably end up breaking the functionality of his website. (And incidentally, this is exactly why I would never even bother Bruce complaining about a single number being wrong on his site, because of the can of worms it would open for him if he actually wanted to fix this problem. It is not a simple problem to solve, and in the scheme of things, as you said, it doesn't really matter).
But that's why I said it was incumbent upon the individual to make an educated judgement of those "facts" being presented by figuring out things for themselves with the available data. Not only with inflation calculations for 80+ year old movies, but EVERYWHERE regarding EVERYTHING. I knew the second that you told me $3.3 Billion lifetime that it wasn't even close to the truth. Since I already knew the movie had many re-releases over decades, coming to the conclusion that Bruce's number was wrong was a simple low-level sub-routine in the back of my mind that ran automatically and spit out instantaneous results.
I also saw the $5 Billion+ worldwide gross with an inflation calculator over 1 hour before you mentioned that to me and laughed about how wrong that was too. I didn't need to do any of that math for my own benefit. I already knew that your number was well over $2 Billion more than reality without doing the math, and I'd already said as much several times. After one too many insults out of you, I got to work on the math to show you why I was right and why you are a stupid person.
And then you did what you always do. You run away from the issue. And when that doesn't work, you try to trivialize it after you spent so long making a big deal out of it until you were put in your place.
Nobody is arguing that this is not a trivial matter, but YOU started the dialogue in your regular shit way, and you were wrong about it from the very first post and you became increasingly insulting and obnoxious about it every step of the way. "Bambi" initially lost money upon its 1942 release but, through re-releases and international sales, it earned a worldwide gross of approximately $267 million.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Initial Release (1942): The film was not initially successful, and Disney lost
money on its first run.
Re-releases and International Sales: Over time, through re-releases and international distribution, "Bambi" became a major financial success for Disney.
Worldwide Gross: The film's worldwide gross is estimated to be around $267 million.
Domestic Gross: The domestic gross is estimated to be around $102 million.
International Gross: The international gross is estimated to be around $165 million.
Production Budget: The estimated production budget was around $858,000

right now I'm having trouble comparing this accurately to another movie only because its budget is outrageous while its numbers keep falling
I put out other examples, Ironman-3 is where a movie makes some profits
For now I'm going with Black Adam a DC Warner Bros flop... but its numbers are much much lower, others we have the Covid era Xmen Dark Phoenix remake film, Lone Ranger 2013 film, Terminator Dark Fate, John Carter of Mars 2012 film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny...all of these are some of the worst flops in history btw

Don't know what to say about the slightly better weekday performance for Snow White this far other than the very weak box office. The Marvels was out when Disney's Wish was out, along with Wonka and if memory serves there was a bloated Aquaman corpse floating around at the same time.
The only competition Snow White has now is the Blacktain failure, and whatever Bobby Deniro bomb just came out.
But there you go buddy. Both in (alleged) production budget and first 5-day performance, they're pretty much the same movie.
That was the biggest MCU flop ever, and one of Disney's most expensive mistakes so far.
What was the supposed budget for The Marvels last time we were updated? Remember they were saying something like $145 Million and how it was fine if it didn't do very well because of how cheap it was compared to other MCU movies? I think the last time I remember getting an update on that it was $180 or $190 Million. Now Bruce has it down for $270 Million in 2025.
Funny that, innit?
And that's probably why you didn't think to compare Snow White to The Marvels. You were probably still under the impression that it cost a lot less to make than it actually did.

Bruce doesn't know what to think. He just gave a prediction for a 50% drop without any reasoning or math behind it.
Forbes says 68%, which is the same drop that Blacktain Anti-America got.

Following Deadline’s projection of $20 million for its second Friday-Sunday frame — a 53% drop in business from its opening weekend — the trade publication is now estimating the film will take in only $13.7 million from 4,200 theaters in its second weekend for a No. 2 finish.
The projected weekend tally marks a 68% drop in Snow White’s opening weekend box office.
With Snow White’s box office freefall in its second weekend, Amazon MGM’s action thriller A Working Man is projected to seize the box office crown from the live-action Disney princess movie.
Freefall from what though?
Under the best circumstances, the $43 Million opening weekend and sub-$100 Million worldwide number already doomed this to losing hundreds of millions in the first place.
This movie started at the bottom of a big hole. All we're doing now is filling it in.

$3,700,000 for Friday. A 77% drop from 1st weekend (but they never include previews in that number, so really a little less than that once you remove $3.5 Mil from last Friday's $16.2 Million.
There's zero chance Bruce's 50% drop is going to pan out now. It's probably going to look a lot more like Forbes' late prediction in the article above.
It did still manage to crack $100 Million last night, but just barely. I wonder how many articles I can find praising Disney for that success.

The movie cost $270 Million to make. If a movie comes close and doesn't break even worldwide on the production budget, it's a coinflip that it will fail.
If a movie makes less than 80% of the production budget worldwide on opening weekend, than it's had a 100% failure rate since January of 2023 with the lone exception of the animated flick Migration in December of '23. And with only $3.7 Million on the 2nd Friday, those chances for Snow White are nil.
You've barely made 1/3rd of the production budget in 8 days. Any "milestones" here are made up by idiots for idiots. This movie loses quarter to half a Billion for Disney by the time it is done. and that's with the $270 Million lie of a budget. Let's check back in a year from now and see what Bruce upped that number to like he's already done with The Marvels after everyone stopped paying attention.

Snow White, Rachel Zegler and a toxic debate that's not going away
March 29, 2025
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx29x6569x2o
Victoria Luxford says criticism of the original film "was never going to work out well. These films are marketed on nostalgia, on making you feel like you did when you saw the original, so to speak of it negatively seemed puzzling".
Zegler stoked controversy with her views after the 2024 US presidential election. Writing on Instagram, she said she hoped "Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace".
Some commend her for speaking her mind. Ehenulo says that she is "not the first and certainly not the last actor to be speaking about politics".
Luxford told me she was "hard-pressed" to imagine the film's core audience, children under 10, being swayed by her politics.
(I saw this movie as a 10-year-old on TV. It was a lame-ass piece of crap even in the 1960's. The 2025 version is much better. Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs (2019) is better than either because it does not have all the singing. Get it for free: https://yts.mx/movies/red-shoes-and-the-seven-dwarfs-2019 )

Maybe Disney needs to hire DOGE then.

It was lame. So was Cinderella. They weren't made for us, even when we were kids. They were cartoons made for little girls.

$14,200,000, or a 66% drop, and a 2nd place finish to a Jason Stathem movie.
$143,114,583 worldwide after 10 days. It just barely has in 10 days half of what it would have needed in 3 days to break even.
Pathetic. This movie is toast.

We weren’t expecting a great second weekend for Snow White, but its performance this weekend is shockingly poor for a family film, with Disney projecting a 66% decline from its already lackluster debut. A Working Man has, in comparison, had an excellent run through the weekend to grab a surprise top spot on the box office chart.
No, Bruce. It was not a family film.
It was just another in a long line of alt-left agenda and propaganda disguised as one.
The last gasp of a dying DEI arm of Hollywood.
Good riddance. We will piss on your grave.

Disney’s “Snow White” Remake Whistles But Doesn’t Work

Nothing good ever seems to come of Gal Gadot singing. Those of us with clear memories of March, 2020, during the early days of pandemic lockdown, may recall the video montage she beamed out of herself and other celebrities, all warbling John Lennon’s “Imagine.” It was meant to bring us together, and on that score it was a total success. Amid a crisis of mass illness, unemployment, poverty, and death, the internet users of the world—suddenly faced with an off-key medley of hope, performed by famous people sheltering in multimillion-dollar hideaways—found themselves united in pure, unmitigated hatred. Only a few days into quarantine, a loathsome instant classic of Hollywood vacuity had been born.
Now, five years later, Gadot is singing a new tune, and how. She doesn’t warble; she belts, or at least makes a valiant attempt. Her backdrop is not a mansion but a palace, where she descends a Vegas-ready grand staircase, with bewimpled ladies-in-waiting as backup dancers. And what she sings is not a song of hope but an anthem of fascist aggression: “All is fair when you wear the crown / A little perk that your power provides / If they dare speak up, swat them down / She, with the diamonds, decides.” Here it may be worth noting that Gadot delivers this performance in the new film “Snow White,” Disney’s live-action remake of its own 1937 animated masterwork, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” She plays the Evil Queen (“She. Was. Evil!” a narrator helpfully intones), which accounts for the severity of Gadot’s royal regalia: a black balaclava-style hood, a glittering cloak, and an enormous stained-glass crown so sharp and spiky that Her Majesty might have run headfirst through a cathedral window.
Gadot has worn ridiculous things before, notably and delightfully as Wonder Woman in various DC Comics movies, but then the role of Diana Prince was particularly well tailored to her charisma and behind-the-beat comic timing. In “Wonder Woman” (2017), as a demigoddess encountering the oddity of the human world for the first time, Gadot projected a pleasurable fish-out-of-water disorientation—a disarming mix of courage and naïveté. But, in “Snow White,” she must embody exactly the opposite, and the strain is immense. Tasked with reinterpreting one of the most frightening and emblematic villains in the Disney canon, Gadot evinces no feel for malevolent cunning, or even knowing cynicism; smacked down repeatedly by her Magic Mirror, she can barely conjure a decently icy glare in response. The great Jean Marsh, who gave us such blood-freezing villainy in “Return to Oz” (1985) and “Willow” (1988), makes Gadot’s Evil Queen look like the mushiest of poisoned apples.
Snow White herself does offer something of an antidote. She is played by Rachel Zegler, who, from the moment she appears, wearing scullery rags and a smile, reveals a winning calibration of radiant innocence and underdog conviction. Although Snow White has lost her parents and finds herself at her stepmother’s unreliable mercy, she hasn’t abandoned hope; she’s “waiting on a wish,” to quote the most tuneful of several new songs, written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The Snow White of 1937, voiced by the opera singer Adriana Caselotti, leaned over a well and sang, “I’m wishing,” with sublime, lilting simplicity; Snow White 2025, by contrast, must dart hither and yon, across seemingly half the castle grounds, as she croons her way through a breath-sapping manifesto of self-empowerment.
And, against considerable odds, Zegler sells every word. She has the gift, rarer than it seems, of not only singing well but also acting well as she sings; her pipes are as potent, and her nerves as steely, as they were when she made her sterling film début, as Maria, in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” (2021). One day, Zegler may well tire of headlining faintly sacrilegious rem

Almost 2PM CST on Tuesday and still no Monday numbers for either of Disney's flops.
Must have been pretty bad.
