A few years ago, Canada demanded that it's Law Abiding Citizens inject themselves with an untested, unsafe, deadly Vaxx. Truckers who were Canadian Citizens and hauling needed goods from America would not be asllowed to re-enter Canada.
Truckers said OK, we can park our trucks until this is over, and Canada economy can run it's course.
So the Authoritarian Dictatorial Canadian government siezed the bank accounts of these Citizens, and confiscated the life savings of these hard working Canadians.

And now, Canadians have just reelected the same exact government.

Australia had a different approach.
Law Abiding Citizens who were caught breathing fresh air on the front porch of their home were arrested, dragged away and thrown in prison.
Australians just reelected the very same Authoritarian Dictatorial government.

Some say that Germans in the 1920s and 1930s did not know they were voting for the end of life as they knew it when they elected the Nationalist Socialist Party.

Both Canada and Australia have had clear examples of the Socialist Dictators they have elected, but they did so anyhow.
It is difficult to scrounge up any pity for them. They chose their misery.
