Turns out the account that YouTube deleted yesterday was called "Dems Watchdog".
The video was posted 3 years ago. The archive I am trying to load is from yesterday. They had a total of 302 subscribers as of the archive from yesterday. This was a channel with no reach. But with videos like this one from 3 years ago, they finally had a reason to stick around at least for a little while longer. Certainly today was not the day to decide to pack it all up and delete your YouTube presence.
Do you people understand what is going on here yet?
I was able to find this much info from an archive on the Wayback Machine.
Archive.org is running SUPER slow for me right now. Maybe all the spooks going through and mass deleting anything that is negative on Kamala. I don't know if the actual video is available on this link any more or not since the video itself won't load for me here. There are alternate archives of this video from different times over the years, so maybe I get lucky and stumble on a working version.
ETA: I was finally able to get it to play. Not sure how to put the link up here where it would work though. Taking the S out of archive.org's part of the link and/or youtube.com's part of the link doesn't seem to work with this site.
I'm downloading it. Maybe I'll upload it somewhere else.

Somewhere back in another thread (the 2024 thread IIRC) I predicted that Kamala would get a "bounce" from reflexive Dem voters who were distressed about voting for a senile candidate.
What you're seeing is RELIEF.
SIX, from now until November, Kamala isn't going to have a single unscripted moment.
If "they' could wedge Joe in as candidate in 2020 and portray him as "the adult in the room" to millions of voters, and successfully puppeteer him for fours years (including the runup to 2020) they think they can probably puppeteer Kamala. Unless she fucks up her script, nobody will see the real Kamala.
JOE'S FAILURES WILL BE BURIED WITH HIM, HER RECORD WILL BE EXPUNGED. Nobody will know her real intended policies - bc they won't be hers. (She's not smart enough to have any. In that way, she's the perfect puppet, just like van der Crazy and 360 degrees Baerbock).
What she will do is promise the Dem platform (which is entirely fake), her ads will be framed as "the prosecuting attorney versus the convicted felon", and enough people may buy it to bring manipulated poll numbers high enough to make a "win" plausible.
If anyone attacks her she'll bring out the race and sex card.
The only hitch in this is Kamala herself: can she deliver her lines convincingly enough so that she doesn't sound like a fifth grader lecturing second graders? Bc that, IMHO, is her greatest weakness: she SOUNDS SIMPLE, AND DISINGENUOUS AS HELL.
I'm sure the Trump campaign is strategizing how to deal with her, but, honest to God, Trump would have been far better off selecting Tulsi Gabbard as his VP instead of Vance.
I'm sure he was still undecided when he was shot, but IMHO he reacted emotionally and Vance is a big FU to "them", but not a strategic pick, since he already appeals to Trump's base.
If Trump is smart, he'll get women to campaign for him, and not known conservatives. If it were me I'd start with Tulsi, even if I had to offer her a cabinet post like Scy State to do it.
None of this matters, tho. Russia will win in Ukraine,China will continue to pick up the economic pieces. The government will continue to hemorrhage money, and the BRICS will increasingly bypass the dollar.

It is a truism of typical American politics that when running in a primary you appeal to your base, but when running for election you move to the center. TPTB are trying to erase Kamala's history as "border czar" and "defund the police" advocate, and given their ability to portray Joe as being sharp and on top of his job, they can probably fool most dem voters about Kamala.
The other thing that candidates promise the sun, moon, and stars to the electorate. The Dem party writes up a 60-page election platform that has a snowball's chance on hell of actually getting implemented. It took me too many election cycles to stop listening to promises and start voting on the candidates' records. I'm afraid that most of the population is too young and too ideological to have developed the appropriate cynicism about their own party/ candidate, and that goes for both parties. ButbInthink especially for Dems bc their party has a hold of major media, and most Dem voters trust what they read in establishment media.

As far as we know, J.D. Vance has never had sex with a couch. That’s a rumor (misinformation!) that has been zinging around the internet for a week after a Twitter user made the hilarious and flagrantly untrue claim that, in the pages of Vance’s historically ominous bestselling memoir Hillbilly Elegy, he wrote about an incident involving an “inside-out latex glove” and “two couch cushions.”
Again, this did not happen, and the original tweet has since been deleted, but the assertion was oddly believable because Hillbilly Elegy is a memoir, and memoirs often contain embarrassing confessions from a bygone youth—especially when they are authorially wielded to articulate a very masculine flavor of learning things the hard way. Also, Vance, with his craven opportunism and clammy demonstrations of weirdly angled hatefulness, is an easy guy to make fun of. An unnatural masturbation habit, revealed in a self-serious memoir, is the perfect ammunition to take him down a peg.
But this internet joke sparked such a frenzy that the Associated Press published an honest-to-God fact-check of the rumor with the honest-to-God headline “No, JD Vance did not have sex with a couch.” The news wire service searched the memoir for keywords and found no mention of “sofa” or “glove,” and the references to “couch” or “couches” were not at all related to the act of having sex with furniture. (The AP’s coverage of this became a whole other story when the AP pulled the article, telling Mediaite that it “did not go out on the wire to our customers” and “didn’t go through our standard editing process.”)
This is not the first time a wildly salacious fabrication about an unpopular Republican lawmaker has picked up steam on social media. Perhaps you recall 2016, when Ted Cruz was mounting a doomed presidential bid and leftists started bandying about a conspiracy theory claiming that the Texas senator was, in fact, the Zodiac Killer—despite being born years after the serial killer’s murders, among many other inconsistencies. (Cruz would eventually lean into the meme by posting several coded letters on Twitter, snuffing the joke out once and for all.)
I doubt that Vance will employ the same tack, because experimental sexual behavior has become a source of extreme anxiety in the worryingly puritanical right, and his adjacency to Donald Trump—with all of his tough-guy posturing and glaring insecurities—does not provide a ton of scaffolding to yuk it up, even facetiously, about memes about alleged adolescent horndoggedness.
But you know what? When the false reports about J.D. Vance masturbating with couch pillows started to circulate, it was the only time Vance appeared even mildly relatable to me since he secured the VP slot. Seriously.
In the past few years, and thus far on the campaign, Vance has spent his time and energy adopting a slimy and aggressive alt-right posture—designed specifically to energize 19-year-old message-board racists and tech overlord David Sacks. He has championed all the usual grotesque causes—calling for an end to the “the tyranny” of Dr. Anthony Fauci; championing the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump; trying to ban gender-affirming care for minors—but has failed to show off any real facility for charm. In his first rally as a vice presidential hopeful, Vance bombed his way through a nonsensical riff that had something to do with the Democrats potentially disliking Diet Mountain Dew because of racism (not real). Earlier this week a resurfaced interview with Tucker Carlson from 2021 showed Vance referring to Kamala Harris as a “childless cat lady,” showcasing a classically incel-like psychic makeup: an obsession with procreation paired with contempt of women.

But there's nothing that any one of us can do about any of it. I hate that the conspiracies were true and we really are living in that world I imagined we were living in 25 years ago. Most days I wish I could just shave 30 IQ points and happily go back to sleep myself.
I actually envy Wetware and Ted. Maybe they are better off if they just keep sleeping. They're obviously not happy at all in the fabricated reality that they subconsciously choose to cling onto, but they'd be a lot less happy than they are right now on the other side of it. It is so much easier to just lie back and let other people do all the thinking for you. To spend all day just parroting what they've been told out loud, even if only an audience of themselves. To have no responsibility for your actions. To never question your own belief system and to always think that you're the good guy, no matter how toxic you behave or how destructive your actions are.

Put aside the question of whether bitcoin is a real thing or just a mass delusion. Let's assume it's real. We still don't stockpile every real thing. We don't have a strategic Lego reserve or a strategic airplane reserve. We only stockpile things that we might suddenly need in large quantities.
We stockpile oil because we might need it if OPEC cuts off supplies. We stockpile vaccines because they take a long time to manufacture and we might need them quickly in case an epidemic strikes. We stockpile rare earth minerals in case China decides to get nasty about them.
But what conceivable emergency would prompt a sudden need for bitcoin? And if, for some reason, we did suddenly need a huge amount of bitcoin, what would prevent us from just buying it on the open market? The whole point of crypto is that it's decentralized and under the control of no government.
Before you tell me: Yes, I know this is just Trump pandering to his fans. Still, his actual policy pronouncements generally make some sense. This one is like promising to create a strategic baseball card reserve. Is there any possible way of interpreting it that isn't completely out to lunch?
