I just posted this in another of my threads but I want it here as well.
There is a clock tower in Iran in the middle of a major city, Tehran's Palestine Square. It is called the doomsday clock. It is counting down until 2040. That’s when Iran claims it will have eradicated all the Jews in Israel.
Iran has been yelling “death to America and death to Israel” since the Jews reclaimed sovereignty over Israel in the forties. Let it be remembered, the Ottoman Empire, Arabs, drove the Israelis out of Jerusalem in 1517. If you ask, and I have, any Muslim if they had been driven out of Mecca in 1517, should they be allowed to reclaim their home, they won’t answer. Why, because that would be admitting the Israelis have the same right.
Personally, I am sick and tired of dealing with terrorists. It is said, maybe as many as 20% or even more of Muslim’s are radicalized. Since there are 1.5 billion Muslims, that means there are at least 300 million of the Basterds.
What the Jews are doing in Gaza is, a genocide. I am completely against it. That said, Muslim men hide behind women and children. They did the same thing in Iraq. They always do it.
Israel has been preparing to do what they are doing for a long time. Aside from Gaza, they have every right to do what they are doing. And they’ve been brilliant. I don’t know what will come because Trump bombed Iran, but it’s about time. Iran has been hiding behind women and children as well. They pay the radicals to do their dirty work.
“Iran's proxies in the Middle East include a network of groups that enhance its regional influence and engage in conflicts against Western powers. Key proxies include:
Hezbollah in Lebanon, which serves as a model for other groups.
Various militias in Iraq and Yemen, which receive financial and military support from Iran.
The use of these proxies allows Iran to exert influence across the region while avoiding direct military confrontation.
These groups have been integral to Iran's strategy since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, helping to bolster its hegemony in the Middle East.” online info
Well, they can't hide anymore.

Trump Says Iran’s Nuke Sites Are “Obliterated.” The Military Isn’t So Sure.
Defense officials say his claims are “overblown” — and the intelligence community said Iran wasn’t building a bomb.
By Nick Turse | June 23 2025, 1:13 p.m.
https://theintercept.com/2025/06/23/trump-iran-nuclear-strikes/
President Donald Trump took to social media to crow over his bombing of Iran on Saturday night. “Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” he wrote.
Current and former Pentagon officials question Trump’s certainty that three of Iran’s nuclear sites were “totally obliterated” by U.S. attacks. One current official called the post-strike assessment, offered in the immediate wake of the Saturday attacks, “overblown.” All said the destruction at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan was extensive, but that the full extent of the damage to Iran’s nuclear capabilities was not immediately clear.
“Overblown and premature,” the defense official, commenting about Trump’s claims on the condition of anonymity to avoid retaliation, told The Intercept by instant message. “What else is new[?]” That assessment was echoed by a former defense official who also spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the nature of his current employment.
In the wake of such criticism, Trump doubled down. “Monumental Damage was done to all Nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term!” he posted on TruthSocial on Sunday. “The biggest damage took place far below ground level. Bullseye!!!”
“From a targeting standpoint, ‘destruction’ means there is absolutely nothing left. These facilities were not destroyed by formal definition. Further, there is no way to assess the full scale of damage against such targets without boots on the ground,” said Wes Bryant, a former Pentagon official who previously worked as a Special Operations joint terminal attack controller, or JTAC, and called in thousands of strikes against the Islamic State and other terrorist groups across the greater Middle East.
Bryant added: “Suffice to say that the use of these facilities has been denied for the near or considerable future, and the strikes no doubt had a psychological effect on the regime. However, to state that any potential nuclear weapons development on the part of Iran has been permanently stopped would be incredibly naive.”
Six U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bombers reportedly dropped 12 GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators — 30,000-pound bombs colloquially known as “bunker busters” — on the heavily fortified Fordow nuclear facility, Iran’s main location for enriching uranium. A seventh U.S. B-2 bomber attacked the Natanz Nuclear Facility with two GBU-57 bombs, while a U.S. Navy submarine also launched Tomahawk missiles, targeting both Natanz and Esfahan, as part of the mission code-named “Operation Midnight Hammer.”
Rafael Mariano Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, reiterated the IAEA’s consistent message that “armed attacks on nuclear facilities should never take place, and could result in radioactive releases with grave consequences within and beyond the boundaries of the State which has been attacked,” in an address to the agency’s Board of Governors on Monday.
He noted that craters were now visible at the Fordow site but stated that “no one — including the IAEA — is in a position to have fully assessed the underground damage at Fordow. He added: “Given the explosive payload utilized, and the extreme vibration-sensitive nature of centrifuges, very significant damage is expected to have occurred.”
A senior Iranian official told Reuters that most of the highly enriched uranium at Fordow had been moved to an undisclosed location ahead of the U.S. strikes. Before and after the Saturday attacks, current and former U.S. defense officials told The Intercept that this was highly likely.
“We often don’t give our adversaries enough credit and underestimate the

Donald Trump's decision to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities wasn't strategic planning — it was pure ego.
Trump flip-flopped wildly in the final hours before Saturday's strikes, initially siding with Tucker Carlson's anti-war stance before abruptly reversing course when Republican hawks convinced him military action would make him "look like a winner."
Wolff, speaking on The Daily Beast Podcast, dismissed White House claims that the bombing represented careful, methodical planning. "This is not true at all, this is completely made up," he said bluntly.
The deciding factor? Trump's vanity. "Then the tenor of the phone calls was him saying, 'I think I'm gonna look very good if I do this,'" Wolff explained, calling the Iranian strikes a "vanity bombing."

Trump attacked Iran without even an attempt to provide a sound reasoning. There was no false flag incident or any serious argument of weapons of mass destruction. The U.S. attacked Iran simply because it could do so.
Trump is thereby not only in breach of the U.S. constitution, which requires Congress to declare a war. The U.S. war of aggression against Iran is also a breach of the U.S. Charter. Its attacks on civil nuclear installations is a breach of the Additional Protocols of the Geneva Convention which prohibits these.
We are now in a new world disorder:
The first major consequence, in broader terms, is that this strike dealt a final, irreparable blow to what little remained of the post-war international legal and institutional framework. That order was already in tatters — shredded by a year and a half of Western-backed genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza. But this latest attack makes it official: Western powers no longer feel the need to cloak their actions in legality, morality or even the façade of diplomatic legitimacy.
...
Today, even that pretense is gone. In Gaza, and now with the strikes on Iran, the gloves are fully off. What we’re witnessing is a regression to a kind of global lawlessness — a “might makes right” free-for-all where nothing is off limits: not the mass slaughter of civilians, not the bombing of nuclear sites, not even the complete sidelining of international institutions.

A revised version of an essay from a long time ago. It didn’t need much revision.
Belief: Iran is aggressive and has threatened to attack Israel, its neighbors or the US.
Reality: Iran has not launched an aggressive war in modern history (unlike the US or Israel), and its leaders have a doctrine of “no first strike.” This is true of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as of Revolutionary Guards commanders.
Belief: Iran is a militarized society bristling with dangerous weapons and a growing threat to world peace.
Reality: Iran’s military budget in recent years has expanded from $10 billion a year around $15 billion annually, making it 25th in the world for such expenditures and putting it in the same range as Singapore and Uruguay. Algeria and Turkiye spend more, and Israel spends twice as much. Even if the war causes Iran to double its spending, it would still only match the United Arab Emirates and Israel, and would not reach the level of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, Iran is a country of 92 million, so that its per capita spending on defense is tiny compared to some of these others, since they are much smaller countries with regard to population.
Belief: Iran has threatened to attack Israel militarily and to “wipe it off the map.”
Reality: Iran’s leaders have often warned Israel that an attack would be met with a strong response. No Iranian leader in the executive had threatened a first-strike, aggressive act of war on Israel, since this would contradict the doctrine of ‘no first strike’ to which the country has adhered.
Belief: But didn’t President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (in office 2005-2013) threaten to ‘wipe Israel off the map?’
Reality: President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did quote Ayatollah Khomeini (d. 1989) to the effect that “this Occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time” (in rezhim-e eshghalgar-i Qods bayad as safheh-e ruzgar mahv shavad). This was not a pledge to roll tanks and invade or to launch missiles, however. It is the expression of a hope that the regime will collapse, just as the Soviet Union did. It is not a threat to kill anyone at all.
Belief: But aren’t Iranians Holocaust deniers?
Actuality: Some are, some aren’t. Former president Mohammad Khatami has castigated Ahmadinejad for questioning the full extent of the Holocaust, which he called “the crime of Nazism.” Many educated Iranians in the regime are perfectly aware of the horrors of the Holocaust. In any case, despite what propagandists imply, neither Holocaust denial (as wicked as that is) nor calling Israel names is the same thing as pledging to attack it militarily.
Belief: Iran is like North Korea in having an active nuclear weapons program, and is the same sort of threat to the world.
Actuality: Iran has long had a nuclear enrichment site at Natanz near Isfahan where it said it was producing fuel for its Bushehr nuclear energy plant and for future civilian nuclear reactors to generate electricity. All Iranian leaders denied that this site was for weapons production, and the International Atomic Energy Agency repeatedly inspected it over the decades and found no weapons program. Iran is not being completely transparent, generating some doubts, but all the evidence the IAEA and the CIA can gather points to there not being a weapons program. As recently as March Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard reaffirmed that US intelligence has no evidence for

I believe Mark Cuban. One big reason is because I have eyes. I see the same thing.
Jesus stated that His mission on earth was not to destroy Judaism or replace the Jewish people. His mission was to take what had been promised for so long and bring it to fruition through the promises given to Israel.
Jesus mentions Judea as the "land of the Jews" in the Bible
There is no direct mention of "Palestinians" in the Bible.

Iran Reportedly Agrees To Trump-Backed, Qatari-Mediated Ceasefire With Israel
Monday, Jun 23, 2025 - 04:26 PM
Update: Fox is reporting, "President Trump spoke with Qatar’s Emir and informed him the U.S. got Israel to agree to a ceasefire with Iran.
Quote:who had JUST finshed talking with Putin
The President asked Qatar to help persuade Iran to do the same, following that Vice President Vance coordinated with Qatar’s Prime Minister on the details. This effort proved successful and, following discussions with the Qatari PM,
Quote:
the Iranians agreed. The deal was coordinated at the highest level by the President and Vice President and the Qatari Emir and Prime minister directly."
"Despite having been attacked just hours earlier, the Qataris set aside their grievances and prioritized regional security to get the deal done," this source added.
Reuters is reporting that Iran has agreed to the ceasefire, which at the very least will provide a respite to the tit-for-tat missiles.
Well, we'll see.

Not to establish an earthly Jewish kingdom. He said so himself!
The Jews of that day expected he'd free them from the Romans! Rebuild the Temple! Establish a kingdom of Jews!
Jesus, that way, was SUCH disappointment to them. So much for being THE Messiah! That's why the Jews don't accept him as their Messiah. You think Jesus is meaningful to Jews? Jews don't.

3 ways Americans could pay for Trump’s war with Iran
The conflict could take a toll in both blood and money.

President Donald Trump has framed his strikes on Iran as a costless triumph. The president is not asking Americans to accept sacrifices in service of destroying the Iranian nuclear program — only to applaud his already successful destruction of it.
“Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump declared Saturday night. “Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.”
It’s possible that Trump’s war will unwind as advertised. The Iranian regime finds itself in a state of profound weakness. Israel has gutted its air defenses and flies largely unharried through its skies. Iran’s nuclear facilities are badly damaged, while many of its top atomic scientists and military leaders lie dead. Its most fearsome partner militias — Hezbollah and Hamas — are badly degraded. Its longtime allies in Damascus have been deposed. Its friends in Moscow seem to have too much on their own plates to lend much of a hand.
From this precarious position, the Iranian leadership might conclude that it can ill afford an escalating conflict with the world’s greatest military power. Perhaps, it will follow the same basic playbook it did following Trump’s assassination of its military leader Qasem Soleimani in 2020: Back then, Iran responded with face-saving strikes on US military bases in Iraq — but ones that it heavily telegraphed, enabling American soldiers to take cover and retain their lives, which in turn allowed Trump to call things even and end the conflict. Iran’s strike on a US base in Qatar on Monday could be interpreted as fitting this mold: The US said that it had advanced warning of the strike and that there were no American casualties.
What’s more, it is even possible that the Iranian regime could conclude that its nuclear program is more trouble than it’s worth and sheepishly return to the bargaining table, now ready to accept more stringent restrictions on its freedom to enrich uranium or build ballistic missiles.
But such rosy outcomes are far from certain. And if things do not transpire as Trump hopes, his war could impose significant costs on the American people — in terms of money, blood, and nuclear security.
How Trump’s war on Iran could impact the economy
For Americans, the most widely felt consequences of Trump’s war with Iran would likely be economic. Oil prices have climbed by more than 12 percent since the end of May, when Israel began threatening to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. An escalating US-Iran conflict could further elevate Americans’ energy costs.
The nightmare scenario here concerns the Strait of Hormuz, the world’s only waterway connecting the Persian Gulf with the open ocean. Each day, about 20 million barrels of oil — or about 20 percent of the world’s total supply — moves through the strait. Iran could plausibly choke off all shipping through the waterway if it wished to do so. And on Sunday, the Iranian Parliament reportedly approved such a course of action, although it remains up to the nation’s Supreme National Security Council to enact a blockade.
Were Iran to take that extraordinary measure, the price of oil could shoot up past $130 a barrel, according to industry analysts (as of this writing, a barrel is trading at $72). That would dramatically increase the costs of energy and transportation for US consumers. And sin

Belief: But don't Iranians shout "death to Israel"?
Reality: It's one thing to want the collapse of a nation state ("Israel"), it's another to want to kill its inhabitants. Iran holds the formation of the State of Israel illegal and doesn't officially recognise it, since Britain stole the land from people already living there to give to Zionist Jews. And Zionists have kept on ste

Where's that Bible quote?
Cause everything I know about the New Testament says that Jesus' kingdom is not earthly.
THGR: Jesus's kingdom is not earthly. But the kingdom or the Jews is.
Matthew 15:24 is a verse from the Bible where Jesus says, "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." This indicates that His mission was primarily directed towards the Jewish people
Ok, but WHAT was his mission?
Not to establish an earthly Jewish kingdom. He said so himself!
The Jews of that day expected he'd free them from the Romans! Rebuild the Temple! Establish a kingdom of Jews!
Jesus, that way, was SUCH disappointment to them. So much for being THE Messiah! That's why the Jews don't accept him as their Messiah. You think Jesus is meaningful to Jews? Jews don't.
Capisce?
Yeah, I capisce. You’re trying to flip the subject onto what was Christs’ mission, when the original point was that the Jews were living in Isreal and Judea long before the Palestinians according to the bible. That’s because there were no Palestinians at that time.
“While the word "Palestine" does not appear in the Bible in its current form, there are several passages that refer to a region known as "Philistia." Philistia was a coastal region located in what is now southern Israel and the Gaza Strip and was home to a people known as the Philistines.” internet
Southern Israel was mostly desert which the Jews purchased in the forties with money proved by a global assistance fund. And the Jews asked the Palestinians to stay during the 67 wars but most left because Arab leaders in Jordan, Syria and others told them to get out.

Signym, I can tell you are trying very hard to convince yourself that Mark Cuban does not describe Trump truthfully. Mark Cuban said, "I've known Trump for 25 years... He is the most unethical, lacks character, dishonest person I've ever done business with... This is one of the few human beings on the planet that gets dumber in front of our faces every single day."
The BBC can verify that Mark Cuban accurately assesses Trump’s personality. Here is the story:
White House rejects intelligence assessment that strikes did not destroy Iran nuclear programme. The White House says the assessment is "flat-out wrong" and is "a clear attempt to demean" President Trump.
https://www.bbc.com/news/live/c20xel1e97gt
Trump is selling a false story about the success of his war with Iran. He sells lies because Trump is unethical. He does lack character. He is getting dumber in front of our faces every single day.

Will Trump’s Strikes on Iran Unleash a Global Arms Race?
Since World War II, nonproliferation efforts have limited the number of countries with nuclear weapons. That may be about to change.
By Matthew Cooper | June 24, 2025

nleash-a-global-arms-race/
President Donald Trump says he's bombing Iranian sites to deter nuclear proliferation, but Washington Monthly writer Matthew Cooper says Trump’s chaotic behavior is giving non-nuclear nations more reason than ever to develop their own nuclear weapons.
It’s about self-defense, says Cooper, citing a recent report by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute Director Dan Smith. https://www.nbcnews.com/world/middle-east/israels-iran-strikes-might-s
upercharge-global-nuclear-arms-race-rcna213200
“[Trump’s] erratic temperament and manic ability to shred once sacred alliances have made it much more likely that Seoul, Warsaw, Taipei, or even Berlin and Tokyo will want to consider spinning centrifuges,” said Cooper, arguing that the only thing keeping some nations from going nuclear for decades was the protection the U.S. provided them up until Trump. “Can anyone count on the American nuclear umbrella when the president … seems more likely than not to jettison NATO? French President Emmanuel Macron has not only returned to Gaullist ideas of French nuclear independence …but has also offered to bring other European nations under Paris’s nuclear protection. In the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made similar moves.”
Cooper said “they would be foolish not to” with Trump in office, and that only goes for our allies. Our enemies have even more reason to enrich uranium, and quickly.
“If you’re Nicolas Máduro, the Venezuelan strongman, and the U.S. has vowed regime change and told the U.S. Supreme Court that your country is currently invading America thus allowing mass deportations … how would you assess the situation in Iran this week and the events of last 25 years?”
“The lesson for 21st-century dictators like Máduro is that you can be invaded/thrown out of power if you do not have a nuke,” Cooper said. “… the calculus of risk and reward has made nukes seem more attractive.”
Other, more prosperous nations, like Taiwan and South Korea can’t count on the same White House that is seemingly willing to jettison its promise to protect allies like Ukraine.
“Will Trump keep American forces on the Korean peninsula, where they have provided a nuclear tripwire for more than 70 years?” asked Cooper. “Will the new center-right government in Seoul be able to rely on it, or will it want its own deterrent?”
Cooper said there’s no way to know right now what was “buried or unleashed by Sunday’s American bombing of Fordow, Natanz, and other Iranian sites, except sadly, a growing desire in many of the world’s capitals for a nuke of one’s own.”

The Problem With Trump’s Cease-Fire
Abandoning diplomacy could make Iranian nuclear progress harder to stop.
By Thomas Wright | June 24, 2025, 5:25 PM ET
https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2025/06/problem-with
-trumps-ceasefire/683314/
Thomas Wright is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He served as the senior director for strategic planning at the National Security Council during the Biden administration.
Last night, President Donald Trump announced a “total and complete” cease-fire between Israel and Iran. Iran’s nuclear program, Trump said, had been “obliterated” and “totally destroyed” by the U.S. strikes, and Iran’s retaliation was “very weak” and resulted in “hardly any damage.”
If the cease-fire holds, this episode would appear to mark a major foreign-policy victory for the president. But Trump may have made a crucial mistake that could bring about the very outcome that successive American presidents have sought to prevent: an Iranian nuclear weapon.
The problem is that the cease-fire is not linked to a diplomatic agreement with Iran on the future of its nuclear program. Trump apparently sees no need for further negotiation, because the military strikes were, to him, an unqualified success. But as the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Sunday morning, assessing the damage to the sites will take some time. A preliminary assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency found that the strikes had failed to destroy some core components of the nuclear program, CNN reported today.
If parts of the program survived, or if Iran stockpiled and hid enriched uranium in advance of the strikes, then Tehran’s next steps seem clear. It will end cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Without eyes and ears on the ground, the international community will lose the ability to monitor Iran’s program. Iran could then choose to build a bomb covertly.
There is a worrisome parallel here to North Korea, which ended cooperation with the IAEA, pulled out of the NPT, and slowly resumed production of highly enriched uranium. A few years later, Pyongyang tested a nuclear device, much to everyone’s surprise.
The Iranian regime may conclude that withdrawing from the NPT is its most effective form of retaliation. At the start of the Trump administration, the Islamic Republic was in its weakest position since coming to power in 1979, because of its own catastrophic choices. On October 8, 2023—the day after Hamas attacked Israel—Hezbollah, Iran’s proxy force in Lebanon, joined the war against Israel at a low level. Within a year, Israel had decimated the Lebanese militia. Since then, Israel has significantly weakened Hamas, and another Iranian ally, Syria’s leader, Bashar al-Assad, was toppled by local militias. Iran launched two massive air attacks on Israel in 2024—in April and October—with the clear intent of killing hundreds, if not thousands, of Israelis. The United States led a regional coalition to shoot down practically all of Iran’s missiles, and Israeli counterstrikes destroyed much of Iran’s air defenses.
Tehran has been left with no good options for retaliating against the Israeli and American strikes that just took place. If it seeks to kill large numbers of Americans, either in assaults on U.S. bases or by carrying out a terrorist attack in the United States, it will risk enraging Trump and drawing the U.S. into a prolonged conflict that could threaten the regime. Iran could try to close the Strait of Hormuz, but sustaining that would be difficult given Tehran’s shortage of missile launchers and vessels, and the likelihood of a significant international response. And if it expands the war to Saudi Arabia, Iran will just be bringing more enemies into the fray.
Hunkering down, buying time, and perhaps building a nuclear weapon is a much more viable option by comparison.
So long as Iran is a member of the NPT, it has a commitment to allow the IAEA access to its nuclear sites for inspections and a

Obama won the prize in 2009, eight months into his presidential term for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."
Why It Matters
Trump has renewed his long-standing grievance over not being awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in recent days.
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Merezhko, the head of Ukraine's parliamentary foreign committee who nominated Trump for the prize in November, told Newsweek this week that he had submitted his nomination withdrawal request.
He said he had "lost any sort of faith and belief" in Trump and his ability to secure a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
Four U.S. presidents have won the Nobel Peace Prize. (Trump won’t because he is an asshole.)

As for me scanning your post, I did.
You were debating against what Jaun Cole had written. You quoted his words then spun in your own beliefs. I'm very familiar with you posting this way.
Unfortunately, like zerohedge, you have in the past aggregated what someone says to suit your perspective. Unless someone is prepared to analyze every word of Coles article against what you've posted of it, there is no way to verify how accurate you’ve been. Therefore, I chose to respond to the Cuban aspect of the post and ignore the rest.
Let’s start with how he knows Trump;
“He recalled meeting Trump at a Super Bowl party at Mar-a-Lago in 1999, after which Trump invited him to meet in New York. Cuban wrote that Trump had covered "every inch of every wall" in his office with photos and magazine covers of himself.”
"After leaving your office, I promised myself that if I ever got liquid and had an obscene amount of money in the bank, I would make a point not to remind myself and everyone else around me of it every minute of every day unlike you," he wrote. "I guess our definition of success is just completely different." internet
Why he stopped supporting Trump;
Mark Cuban Reveals Exact Moment He Turned on Donald Trump. "I remember asking him, 'If you win this thing, you're going to have to make decisions where people could live or die based off of what you decide.' He wouldn't respond," The billionaire also attributed his shift in perspective to Trump's public statements and tweets, which he suggested sowed division rather than encouraged unity.” internet
He has an online pharmacy Cost Plus that offers safe, affordable medicines at the lowest possible price. Trump on the other hand as President, has set up shop selling anything he can to make a buck. And is trying to cut millions off from healthcare to give tax cuts to the top 1%.
Face it comrade signym. You are infatuated with strongmen who rule instead of governing. Once again, you’ve exposed your lack of concern for your fellow man by supporting Trump, by way of deflecting scrutiny away from him.
Bravo

I've postulated that only dirt-bags would vote for Trump. I can usually easily find the dirt for almost every Trumptard I have checked. With Libtards I seldom find dirt. I'm pretty sure the reason why is that decent humans are repelled by all of Trump's behavior, wouldn't act the way he does, and wouldn't vote for that semi-human fatass.

'I ran the CIA - these are Trump's mistakes and why they're so scary'
Leon Panetta warns Donald Trump's lack of trust in his own intelligence chiefs is 'very scary' and 'dangerous' to world security
By Rob Hastings | June 25, 2025 4:08 pm
https://inews.co.uk/news/world/cia-trumps-mistakes-scary-3768498
Donald Trump’s lack of trust in his own intelligence chiefs and ignorance of their advice while launching military action is “very scary” and “dangerous” to world security, a former head of the CIA has warned.
Leon Panetta, who was Director of the US spy agency from 2009 to 2011, is alarmed by the President’s declaration that intelligence he received on Iran’s nuclear programme – shortly before he ordered risky strikes on the country – was “wrong”.
Panetta’s intervention comes after Trump once again hit out at his own security experts, saying a leaked assessment was “fake news,” after it reportedly suggested Iran’s nuclear facilities may have only been set back by months and not “obliterated” as he claimed.
In an interview with The i Paper, Panetta said that Trump’s attitude sets a worrying trend for the White House’s decision-making process over any future armed interventions.
He also suggested that the President’s “unpredictability” means he is a risk to Nato allies, who will have to consider this while monitoring the actions of dictators such as Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un.
Panetta said: “I don’t think there’s any alternative but to understand how dangerous a world we live in right now.
“Not only because of the adversaries that are out there – whether it’s China, or Russia, or North Korea, or Iran, or terrorism – but also because of the concerns about leadership, and whether or not the US will exercise the right kind of leadership in a dangerous world.”
Controversy over how the White House uses intelligence reports to make vital decisions has grown after the latest dismissive comments from Trump and his team.
The President has rejected the Defence Intelligence Agency’s leaked initial judgment that the American attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities may not have been a knock-out blow, with a White House spokesperson also saying: “This alleged assessment is flat-out wrong.”
Speaking from his home in California, Panetta said: “There’s no question that when the US President makes a statement that our intelligence assessments are wrong and doesn’t believe our own intelligence, that creates a very dangerous moment.
“It undermines the work of our intelligence professionals who really are focused on trying to provide the President with the truth. When the President questions their credibility, that certainly undermines their morale, I’m sure.
“But secondly, it also creates a real problem for the President, because if he rejects the intelligence he’s receiving, then what will be the basis for the decisions that he makes in the future, and that is a very scary prospect.”
He added: “I have always been confident about our intelligence assessments with regards to Iran… The fundamental question is: did they make a decision to proceed with developing a weapon? And I think our intelligence indicates that that still was not the case.”
The row originally broke out after Trump publicly slapped down guidance from his own director of national security, Tulsi Gabbard, who told Congress in March that “Iran is not building a nuclear weapon.” Serving security officials insist this has remained true all along.
Trump publicly dismissed the guidance, bluntly telling reporters last Friday: “My intelligence community is wrong.” The following night, American B-2 bombers struck Iran’s key uranium plants.
However, Panetta said that once Trump had asserted that Iran was aiming to manufacture a bomb, the White House “had to stand by its word” and was left with “no alternative” but to attack.
Gabbard has since tried to realign her stance with Trump, writing online: “America has intelligence that Iran i

The Current Iran War will Likely End Soon, but the Arms Race will Heat Up

The hot war will end, but the Middle East arms race is with us for the foreseeable future, and the opportunities for Russia and China, should they want them, to play a bigger role in the region have expanded.
America’s credibility as a negotiator and mediator is completely ruined, since Trump hit Iran in the midst of negotiations, which a reader reminded me is a violation of the Hague Regulations of 1907 and was held against Japan in the attack on Pearl Harbor.
It is still not clear to me that the ayatollahs’ longstanding opposition to nuclear weapons will change. Many countries throughout the world, however, may now be tempted to go for a nuclear weapon, since the difference between North Korea on the one hand and Iraq and Iran on the other is glaringly clear.

'Biblical prophecy': Christian nationalists pushing Trump to 'usher in the End Times'
By Alex Henderson | June 25, 2025 | 09:29AM ET
Before launching his 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump didn't have a lot of contact with evangelical Christian fundamentalism.
Trump was raised Presbyterian/Mainline Protestant — not evangelical — in Queens by a Scottish immigrant mother and an American father. And religion, even non-fundamentalist Protestant Christianity, wasn't a high priority for him.
In 2016, 2020 and 2024, however, white evangelicals were a key part of Trump's MAGA base. And he gets a lot of input from them, often attacking Democrats as anti-religion even though many prominent Democrats — from Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Georgia) to MSNBC's the Rev. Al Sharpton to Catholic former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) — are quite religious and can quote the Bible with much more detail than Trump.
In an article published on June 25, Salon's Amanda Marcotte warns that Trump is getting a lot of input from far-right white Christian nationalists on the Middle East and explains why that is dangerous. https://www.salon.com/2025/06/25/evangelicals-push-trump-into-conflict
-with-iran/
"The wild claims made by leaders of the Christian Right have also been in the mix: that Trump is a prophet sent by God to usher in the End Times, and that attacking Iran is necessary to bring about the end of the world and the return of Jesus Christ," the Philadelphia-based Marcotte explains. "It's this delusion that (Sen. Ted) Cruz was winking at, and it was likely a powerful reason Trump decided to escalate."
White evangelical Christian fundamentalists have a complex relationship with Israel. On one hand, they believe that Jews are damned to eternal hell because they don't accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah; on the other hand, they consider themselves very pro-Israel because of the role they think Israel will play in the End Times.
"Anthea Butler, a religious studies professor at the University of Pennsylvania, told Salon that Cruz was referencing evangelical belief in a Biblical prophecy that war involving Israel and the larger Middle East is 'only one more step in ushering in Jesus' return," Marcotte notes. "As journalist Sarah Posner explained at Talking Points Memo, 'this movement holds that a series of prophesied events, including Jews' return to Israel and invasion by armies of foreign countries including Iran, will culminate in a bloody, victorious battle at Armageddon.'"
Marcotte continues, "As a result, the conflict between Iran and Israel has launched a frenzy within evangelical circles, as they hope the final battle is coming and they will get to witness the End Times…. Family Research Council head Tony Perkins was one of the architects of Project 2025, the far-right plan for a government takeover being implemented by Trump's administration. He's also a big believer in this Biblical prophecy and, as Kyle Mantyla of Right Wing Watch documented, has been using his podcast to frame war with Iran as the key to bringing Jesus back to Earth."
According to Marcotte, the "pressure from Trump's evangelical base" on the Middle East "offers insight into why he is cracking."
"He almost certainly would like to leave his intervention in Iran behind," Marcotte observes. "But he can't say no to evangelicals, because he knows that he’s nothing without them."

Here's my take:
Netanyahu and American (traitorous) Zionist neocons were putting all kinds of pressure on Trump.
Now, personally, I don't know why he didn't just tell them to fuck off, but Trump may still have a soft spot for Israel, he may have a real fear of Iranian nuclear weapons, he may have wanted to overthrow the Iranian govt, or he was simply responding to political pressure at home.
In any case, he and Israel coordinated a "blitzkrieg" attack consisting of assassinations of top military commanders and nuclear scientists by Israel, sabotage of Iran's air defenses by Israel, and a real bombing and missile campaign by both Israel and the USA against what appeared to be Iran's ballistic launch sites and three of Iran's nuclear sites. Azerbaijan, Turkye, and Diego Garcia (among other places) were the bases.
I don't think we -or Israel - held anything back, except tactical nukes.
We all went all out.
But things didn't go as planned. Iran's air defenses slowly came back online. The "missile launch sites" appeared to be mostly decoys. Iran's nuclear sites had apparently been emptied and were more resistant to attack than anticipated.
And Iran's government and military didn't fall.
Iran started a punishing missile campaign against Israel. Israel tightly censored new of the damage, and our western press filters the rest, but I saw video after video of missiles raining down on Israel, the Iron Dome proving to be an Iron Sieve. And Iran is widely thought to have THOUSANDS of missiles in reserve.
So, blitzkreig having failed, we were looking at the beginning of an attritional war with Iran.
As always, it's far easier to attack from the air than it is to defend, and neither Iran nor Israel held up well in that regard, but Iran has a far bigger industrial base than Israel, and USA stocks were depleted in Ukraine.
Sensing FAILURE, and sensing Israel on the ropes, Trump did the next best thing: declare victory and manage a ceasefire. Similar to the Yemen op, but on a bigger scale.
The DIA, which is supposed to be a source of "ground truth", didn't get with the program. But the CIA, which is entirely political, and Trump's closest advisors, and Israel are standing shoulder to shoulder to draw a line under this event and not gave it go any further. Iran probably wants the time to purge its ranks of infiltrators and to beef up its air defenses. The government understands that Israel, having failed militarily, would target population centers next, and didn't want that kind of damage.
So it's a short term draw. Long term, the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty has been broken, the head of the enforcement arm IAEA (Grossi) has been exposed as a western asset, nobody in the west knows where Iran's 90% uranium is and Iran's not going to tell them, and everybody now has another example that you can't trust negotiating with the USA (as if Iraq and Libya wasn't enough).

Pete Hegseth here.
Wow.
Wow.
I’ve called you members of the Fake News together for this special meeting because I can’t believe you could have gotten it so wrong. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-administration/live-blog/trump-
administration-congress-iran-israel-immigration-live-updates-rcna214380
I am personally ashamed of you. You are the reason that people are saying that the mission “only set back Iran’s nuclear program for months” and “was not an unmitigated success.” Did you not hear the president? The target was OBLITERATED. Stop acting like something can’t be obliterated for months. I’ve been obliterated for months myself.
Maybe if you BELIEVED more, you would understand how well the mission went! You would know that the second the bombs fell, the only thing they could possibly have hit was their target, and the only thing they could possibly have done was DECIMATE and DESTROY their target exactly as intended. But instead, because you didn’t BELIEVE enough, you demanded “reports”—and now we’re in this mess. You are making our pilots sad!
I know there is an old journalistic saying: If your mother says she loves you, check it out. I would never! I know my mother loves me, despite what her emails published in The New York Times suggest.
Everyone with eyes knows this mission was a success! And if you doubt, here are a number of quotes from people brave enough to see what was REALLY there and not just what so-called INTELLIGENCE shows. This is also what I’m like when my loved ones come out of surgery. I don’t need to see the patient. I just want to hear statements from True Patriots about how he’s probably doing. That’s enough for me. If you weren’t FAKE NEWS, it would be enough for you.
Now, thanks to Donald Trump, we are on the historic, unprecedented verge of a thing that we used to have before he tore up the treaty! Where’s the praise? Where’s the adulation?
You are free to write whatever you want. You can say the target was “devastated.” You can say the target was “obliterated.” Choose whatever word you like, as long as it is a synonym for destroyed. You can even say “utterly destroyed.” It’s a free country.
When I look out over this press corps, I think, Is it any wonder the mission only set back the nuclear program for months? Which, of course, it didn’t. It set the program back for an untold, unfathomable length of time. Who can fathom it? Who can tell it? Not I. After a mission like this, how about we take a beat, wave a flag, celebrate our warriors’ success?
Maybe, if you were a better press corps, the mission would have gone better. Have you ever considered that?
Not that it didn’t go perfectly! But hypothetically.
Say you are one of our brave pilots. How do you think he feels? He’s refueled. He’s dropped his payload. What he wants to hear you say is, “Great job, Kevin! Mission accomplished, Kevin!” He doesn’t need you saying, “Actually, was the whole target, you know, THERE?”
Look, we remember from 2003 that all you need in order to have accomplished your mission is a big-enough banner. Then it’s your job, as the media, to say, “Great job accomplishing that mission!” You know what it isn’t your job to do? Ask questions.
Why don’t you want to celebrate? Why do you hate America?
CLAP if you believe in mission.
CLAP! See, it’s going better all the time. CLAP! KEEP CLAPPING!

Trump has been so unnerved by Iran that he can focus on nothing else
https://www.rawstory.com/trump-iran-2672441389/
Only one of 17 intelligence agencies released reports on the possible effects of last weekend's bombing, yet the Trump administration continues to call it a raging success. When the press has questioned exactly how Trump knows Iran's nuclear capabilities have been wiped out, the president has been going ballistic.
At Wednesday's NATO summit press conference at The Hague, Trump claimed news media was out to disparage him and the brave men and women who defend the country.
Trumpian rage rants are, of course, routine. But this time feels different. The president posted 21 times on Truth Social yesterday about the supposed success of his military strikes. And at yesterday’s NATO summit — a moment specifically designed by the Western world for Trump to bask in the glory of a huge defense spending boost — he spent most of his public appearances repeating his assertions on Iran.
Sykes turned to Politico's reporting to find the reasoning behind Trump's "latest indignant frenzy."
"Critics see a president spooked by a bombshell leak that has undermined his authority," wrote Politico's Jack Blanchard and Dasha Burns.
"Supporters say Trump is genuinely outraged by what he claims is false reporting and wants the record corrected. Either way — he’s using every tool in his arsenal to push back hard: Witness the hammer-like repetition that sites were 'obliterated'; the plentiful use of surrogates like Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio; the vindictive targeting of the journalists and media organizations involved; the barrage of statements from both U.S. and Israeli intelligence chiefs yesterday that the initial report was wrong," the report states.

So, just to revisit.
There was no cloud on enriched U235 circling the globe, no matter how trace. I imagine what that means is that the underground bunker/ cavern at Fordow hasn't caved in, causing a cloud of radioactive dust to poof out.
Rumor has it that the U235 was relocated. Grossi, the head of the IAEA, is insisting that Iran tell him where it is and the Iranians, suspecting that Grossi will simply inform the USA/ CIA and Mossad, refuse to tell him.
But I was thinking about those centrifuges. They're extremely high speed. I don't know exactly how they work, but they sound similar to turbomolecular pumps. And those pumps just HATE sudden jolts or power failures. They need to be spun down gradually. I imagine those centrifuges are even worse. It's possible that the cavern itself is intact, but the centrifuges are toast. Something to look up.
Also heard some discussion of the damage done to Israel, which depends greatly on imports and to some extent on tourism.
Those missiles raining down on Israel were aimed primarily at Haifa port, Ben Gurion Airport (Israel's only), and financial and business sectors in Tel Aviv. Israel might have stuck out the war longer, but they were out of air defenses.

Israel Suffered Extensive Damage
Despite the arduous efforts of Israeli censors to hide the devastation Iran inflicted on Israel with its barrage of ballistic missiles during the 12-Day War, information is emerging that destroys the myth that Israel had an impregnable air defense. The map at the head of this article reveals the sites targeted by Iran. Based on the videos of strikes in Haifa and Tel Aviv, I think this map accurately portrays the massive scale of the Iranian attack. For the first time in its history, Israel took a major beating.
According to various Israeli media reports, damage spanned residential buildings, scientific infrastructure (e.g., labs at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot), the Israeli Defense Ministry complex, and commercial hubs like the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Iran also struck a military target near the Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva. The medical center was hit by the blast wave, which caused extensive structural damage, a chemical leak, and dozens of injuries. The Israeli press claimed this was a direct strike on Soroka, but the fact that no one was killed undermines that claim.
Iran also struck the following residential areas, reportedly targeting Israeli military and intelligence officials:
Bat Yam: 9 killed, ~200 wounded; high-rise apartments destroyed.
Ramat Gan: Nine buildings destroyed, hundreds displaced.
Haifa and Tel Aviv: Strikes near military HQs (“Kirya”) and civilian neighborhoods.
Iran also caused extensive damage to the Port of Haifa and the Port of Ashdod (Note, I had no information on the latter when I posted yesterday.), as well as the refineries at Haifa and Ashdod. Israel has maintained a complete blackout on the damage to its military and intelligence facilities, but the sites identified on the map above indicate that Iran likely enjoyed similar success as that observed in Haifa and Tel Aviv
The following brief video shows Tel Aviv — before and after. Israel got a taste of what it has done to the Palestinians in Gaza; it was a painful morsel.
...

The video, OF COURSE, isn't on YouTube. I can't seem to grab the URL, you'll have to go to the above website, by Larry Johnson, former CIA officer, to watch the video.

I heard an interesting talk by Ted Postol, emeritus physics professor MIT, and former advisor to USA military on weapons and security. He seems to know a lot about nuclear weapons, explosives, missiles, satellite surveillance and all that.
The first thing he explained was that the BIGGEST hurdle to making a nuclear weapon was enriching to about 3% U235, because there's SO much dross to get rid of. But since each enrichement step uses previously enriched material, each step gets easier and easier. It's true what they say: It only takes one more step to go from 60% to 90%.
He also estimated the size of a cylinder required to remove 400 kg (about 900 lb) of that 60% U235: About the size of whst we called a "shorty" compressed gas cylinder. It would EASILY fit into a Prius.
He spoke about the likelihood of a bombing attack on Fordow being successful. The bombs were aimed at the vent tubes coming up from the cavern. But he spoke about the various design features that could foil that attack - vents with right angles in them, expansion chambers, baffles and blast doors. Those features would cause the hot gases and blast wave to be redirected upwards, back out the vents. The reason why he believes those features were built in is bc pilots reported seeing a HUGE glow from the bombing. A successful strike would have most of that happening underground, invisibly. He also referred to our multiband infrared satellites (with picture. My god those are HUGE. Bigger than a small room! Imagine lofting THOSE into space!) that can detect and classify all kinds of explosions in terms of temperature and duration. FOR SURE our military and CIA know what happened at Fordow. Apparently, the only person who talked to him about this was TULSI GABBARD.
And finally, he spoke about the vulnerability of those centrifuges. It isn't what I thought. Uranium hexafluoride, UF6, the molecule used to separate U235 isotope from U238, is actually mostly a solid at room temperature. If you shut down the centrifuges without emptying them first, the UF6 solidifies on the centrifuge walls.

Trump has spoken against Iran, even when he was campaigning. I don't know the source of his animus against Iran (probably "Javanka") but it runs counter to his desire to make nice with Russia, and also to not start new wars.
Recent events:
Withdrawing from the JPCOA
Fully sanctioning Iran, and threatening to sanction any other nation that deals with Iran
Letting the "Iran oil" exemptions expire (India, Japan, South Korea, Iraq, China, Turkey most affected)
Meeting with Iraq two weeks ago RE:Iranian influence (Pompous)
Meeting with the EU (instead of Putin) RE; Iran
Sending a carrier group to the Persian Gulf
In the meantime, several Saudi and UAE oil tankers have been sabotaged in the Persian Gulf. The blame will probably go to Iran altho this might have been a false flag to precipitate war.
So I wonder .. of all of the "regime change" operations that Trump has threatened and/or is engaged in (Venezuela, Syria - continuing, N Korea, Turkey, Iran, Russia)
Iran is the one nation that has a long history of being targeted by Armageddonists like Pompeo, neocons like Bolton, PNAC pro-Zionists like Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, and actual Zionists like Netenyahu, partners like Saudi Arabia, Trump appointees like Gen Flynn, Trump advisors like "Javanka", and even Trump himself.
Given the vast array of advisors, other nations, and appointees who have Iran in their sights, will Iran be the one exception to Trump's reluctance to involve the military in regime-change operations?
Or will he limit himself to CIA assets, mercs, spec-ops, proxies, cyber-, financial, ad economic warfare, and "show of force" repositioning of US ships?
