A Dedicated UK Browncoat Map

I think the one on AlanTudyk.net is OK but it does have some pitfalls (in particular the UK is very, very crowded)

So here is a new map - it can be hosted by anybody who would care to, and info is added by an administrator (me) - The Map shows the whole of the UK (it`s quite large) each dot represents a person, just move your mouse pointer over the dot to reveal the person(s) at that location or alternatively you can do the same with the names to the right side of the Map.

To get yourself posted on the map, use the image below and use a paint package to put an X at your exact location and then email me back the image (or portion of image) with your details (that you are happy with) [Note, I can also link your name on the right with your website or profile page @ FFF.net if you want]

Whilst I don`t want to appear negative, The idea is to have the map fairly exact. I don`t want to be looking up places everytime somebody is `too lazy` - It take some doing to actualy modify the map & then the html code, alittle commitment will go a long,long way.

I`ll look up the position of `Kilmacolm` - just don`t go saying it`s in the wrong place

You can add me - I'm in Cheltenham. You know where since you've already put a dot there for yourself. Maybe you could use changes in colour to indicate higher densities of browncoats.

Thanks, I don`t want to do this for other countries though - I don`t have the knowhow buit it would be cool to have a spinning globe which you could stop and then zoom in to country level.

There`s still a lot of Browncoats out there without a mark on the map yet, but alsow trickle is fine

Hows about this for a potential (but hugely hypothetical and possibly slightly silly ) incentive for all the UK folks to get themselves up on the map:

With the talk of UK pre-screenings in August, the people setting them up are going to want to know where there's a high enough population of browncoats to warrant a screening.
Now Zol here has helpfully provided this map that tells them where everyone is.

So the best way to show them that it's worth putting on a screening in your area is to show that there are browncoats there, by putting yourself on the map.
