Where are you getting it from , Itunes?

Actually, podcast is nothing but fancy for "mp3" or "streaming mp3" if you insist (though I'm sure any other audio format capable of streaming will do). It doesn't matter if you directly open it (the url) in your media player (winamp or whatever), download and play it or whatever else you do with mp3s.

In other news, the folks at www.sliceofscifi.com are taking notice of the podcast. Maybe it will even get a mention in one of thier podcasts. This could be great publicity.

I listened to the first ep and enjoyed it immensely. Just our little slice of Firefly. There were no spoilers per se, unless you're avoiding even the trailer.

a podcast is basically like an audio blog. they're mianly compared to like...recorded radio shows. All you have to do is download the mp3 (they're normally in mp3 format) and import it into iTunes or any other media player. To put it in your iPod, you just sync it like you would with any other piece of music you've imported into iTunes.

And that's marked as a spoiler. They give a fifteen second spoiler warning, and tell you how far ahead to skip to avoid the trailer.

I'm part of the team that makes the podcast (I'm the host & tech geek). We launched last Tuesday and have over 500 listners already. We are steadily adding more than 100 new listners a day as news of the podcast spreads through the Firefly community.
