Can't help with the empire site thing, but BST is GMT+1. Because we're in daylight savings time at the moment. So I think that makes it 7.30am eastern US time? www.timeanddate.com/worldclock

If BST is +1 GMT, then that makes the webchat scheduled for 6:30am Central Time here in the states, as Central time is on daylight savings time and currently = to -5 GMT

because both the US and the UK are on daylight sabings right now, the time difference between us an east coast is 5 hours. It will be 7.30am EST.

Trust me - I deal with the colleagues in the US everyday.

In the USA, to go or not to go on Daylight Savings Time is a choice left to the individual states. Not all states choose to do so.

Whatever.

The important point is that there is 5 hours difference between the UK and East Coast US right now.

I was just trying to prevent the East Coast guys from getting up for a webcast at 6.30 when it's actually 7.30.

I don't know about West Coast or Central US, as I don't have daily dealings with anyone there.
