hi, i'm sure this has been asked before in some other thread, but i was just wondering if there are any british browncoats out there. i know there are, but i don't now exactly where and who etc. i'm based in kent area south of london. my Livejournal ID is sisterspooky if anyone wants to leave a comment or whatever. just a quick hi and how are you message!

As you can see there's plenty of us around.

I'm from little old Leicester - home to the National Space Centre (though I still have yet to visit it)

Are you going to the Starfury event? Considering you live in the London area, I'm sure it would be a hell of a lot easier to get to than someone in my position - but I'm determined to go (even if I haven't yet bought my ticket)

btw - is your username a reference to X files? or are you just spooky in general?

And that map only shows the vocal ones! I'm a new poster from Edinburgh and there is a hell of a lot more fans than 2 up here! Next week is going to be slightly nuts, but it's gonna be fun to see who shows up, might even put a couple of faces to names!

How vocal are we talking here? I mean, I would have thought all here are vocal, but are you suggesting that some are marching up and down streets shouting "SERENITY NOW! SERENITY NOW!"

I really wish I could have gone to Edinburgh. I have an aunty living there so not only would I get to see the BDM but I would be able to see her too in her new house. Plus here's the thing, someone offered to sell me a couple of tickets for face value, but calculating how much it would cost me to travel to Edinburgh made me realise it wasn't a possiblity. Now though, I'm thinking of going to Starfuy and that's going to set me back £300 - mainly due to the hotel pricing!

Ok well i'm a local Edinburgh firefly fan going to the premiere on Monday - If any folks need any advice on how to get from A to B or where sells a good ale just ask - I can mostly be found posting some random guff so if you need to, just look me up and email me. And it ain't gonna cost you a credit!

Now all I need to do is find that sodding ticket....ummmmmm

I was lucky thats all - I cued up at the box office and was lucky that the on-mass brownoat invasion killed the server!

I was only offering anyone who has no idea how to get anywhere in Edinburgh help - this town is a right pain to get to know.

But yes I will place an order for one slightly used secondhand brain. Have you got one in yellow, preferably with a low milage?

I used this username because its the same one I use across all forums - it keeps things simple you know?

Still, I kinda wish I had gone for something more Firefly related

I was once RatboyRedux at the Fox X Files Forum cos it was XF related, but when I was banned (dont know why) I changed it to NeedyRatboy (cos Needy was a name I was known for at Delphi forums) Since then I've just kept it the same, though I wish I had just come up with a Firefly related name, and used that across all Firefly forums - that also would have been simple to remember, and would have been more fitting

Sorry - I'm somewhat of a new poster and still a little defensive, still can't read exactly how some posts were meant to be read.

But I'm hoping a fair few folks will be coming up to Edinburgh for the hell of it, should be somewhat of a laugh and last thing I heard the demand was so high there's yet another extra showing being laid on - Sunday this time.
