Could you try converting the .mov file yourself? This utility looks like a possibility:

Argh; never mind. I just got some time to test it (I'm at work, too) and, while it does make a very nice .avi file that works in Windows Media Player, it puts a big block of "register me" text in the middle of the frame. Oh, well. If I run across a truly freeware conversion kit I'll be sure to post up the link.
