Yep, grad school. As long as I don't fail my classes, I'll be getting my Masters this May and then probably moving back home to Seattle. But maybe not, depends on if/where I find a job.

Hey Wickedwing, A whole mess of us were at D*C. Don't remember seeing you, though. Did you see me? I was one of the 50,000 people walking around wearing a Jayne hat. I also worked at the SEBC table a bit.

Willamina-We do have a shindig coming up, the NCBDMPP. See above for links to info on that. September 30th. Mark your calender.

But we have been discussing the possiblity of further shindiggery (did you read that Jadehand? Are you so proud?) in the not so distant future. If you're interested, we'll add you to the list. The more the merrier!

If the Carolina Area Browncoats are looking for a con to attach too and gather at, I'd like to bring our con to your attention...

My name is Ron McClung and I am the Con Chair of ConCarolinas 2006. ConCarolinas is heading into its 5th year and has grown every year. Fan groups have flocked to our con every year. We have very strong fan group support because much of our con is focused on things fan and fan groups like. We also have costume events including a contest.

If there is an organized Borwncoat group in the Carolinas, we'd be willing to offer them hallway table and a group rate if they are interested in attending as a group.

Just call me a new recruit... I live in Greenville, NC, right now and I'm attending ECU. I dragged my girlfriend to Serenity on opening night (having not seen ANY of the Firefly series- the movie looked like it would be something I would enjoy)... Since then, we've both become fanatics of the series. She bought me the DVD set for our 1 year anniversary, and we watched it all in a couple days, and we want more! Its a crime that its gone, and I'm sorry I missed it the first go around :(
