Well fingers crossed I get to see the Browncoat in person! It's a shame I'll have to leave early, but bring there for a couple of hours is better than no time at all - plenty of time to look round the stalls and hopefully sneak some photos of Summer even if I don't get to meet her. At least I know I WILL be meeting her in November! Oh, and hopefully seeing her, Nathan & Joss at the premier on the 5th as well!

Er, because I can only convince my lift to hang around for so long! The alternative is getting a train from MK to London & then back home which is just too much hassle & time consuming. I wasn't expecting to go at all so I'm happy with my couple of hours.

Okay, so I just spent four and a half hours trying to get my laptop to work properly again.

I uninstalled Firefox to put the new version on, and deleted the old directory without restarting, even though it said not to. So my firewall got really pissed about it and just fucked about with me for ages.

So now, I am sans personal firewall. Fortunately, the router here has one of it's own. I'll reinstall my proper one when I get back home.

well i had a fairly quiet night considering chloe was all with the vomiting (she threw up in alexs dinner yesterday) today she seems worn out and still poorly, ear and chest infections is heart kids are nasty, possible hosptialisation if i cant get her eating and drinking

Hey all! It's been a productive morning! I sent off my letter to Gina Torres, and picked a copy of the Serenity mag.

We're going early Friday morning, and coming back next Friday (the day of the release!). And pul-lease! Have you seen much holidays out of term time cost? But I got permission and all.

hey, people liked the quiz. It was fun.

I have just finished reading 'Heat' magazine. I have this theory that, despite it being mainly about clothes, someone there is a Whedon fan. They have had little reviews and pictures of Wonderfalls - how many times have you seen that in a UK magazine? - and now of Veronica Mars. And Sarah Michelle Gellar is always in their best-dressed list. And this week, in their 'big films coming soon' list, they put Serenity.

Anyone agree, or am I alone in this random liking of women's weeklies?

Okay, it's barely past 9am and I have a headache.

Why? Because there are all these various projects and whatnot happening around here. I ask if there's going to be anything they need me to do to let me know so I can make time to help them. But they all say "No, no! We've got it all under control, you won't even know we're here! We don't need you to do anything!"

Yeah right.

I just spend the last 1/2hr teaching someone how to mail out bulk mail. And before that I was dealing with "purifying" our mailing list so they can have the mailing labels they want for the bulk mail.

And then they all look at me in amazement when I say "I'm sorry, I don't have time to do that right now. I might be able to get to it tomorrow." Like I just sit around waiting for someone to find something for me to do. Like I don't have my own tall stack of things to do. Like I can just throw my work out the window to do theirs for them. Because surely their projects are so much more important than what I do every week.

Okay, I feel better now. {end rant}
