This may be a duplicate... but are we going to have to wait for the DVD to come out before we get the audio from the soft "Ballad of Serenity" that plays near the end of the credits?
Does anybody have it? Darn those soundtrack people!!

Dangit! The Ballad of Serenity plays at the end (even softly)?
My friends were rushing out of the theatre and I wanted to stay for the credits but didn't bother arguing.
Guess I'll just have to go again.

I heard it at the end of the advance screening - it's a NICE arrangement. Knibblet and I sang along.

Sorry, I wasn't very specific... it is a soft, instrumental version with, I believe, just an acoustic guitar...
Any leads? I would LOVE to hear it as an MP3...

For them as are willing ... and in a position to pay ... Channy and I are available to sing the theme song at BDMP's, weddings, Bat Mitzvahs and birthday parties.
I just LOVE singing with Channy. She knows all the words and she *gets* it. Channy

Nope... my guess is it's because David Newman didn't compose the Firefly theme... instrumental or not...
Grrr... argh...

Aw gorram rassa frassin...I expected the song to be SOMEWHERE in the movie, but I too left the theater with the big tide of people leaving the theater...*sigh* figures doesn't it? But I have a different request...instead of an mp3 does anybody have guitar tabs?

Yes, PLEASE!! Somebody, please find us a copy of the end-of-movie version. I managed to keep my cool throughout the entire movie, even with all the sad and heart-breaking things that happened, until I heard that song. Then the tears came.
Thank the stars that only the hard-core fans were left to notice... most of them were feelin' the same way.
I would give just about anything for a copy of that song. If you find it, you'll be my new hero.

I was hoping for the actualy Firefly theme at the end of the movie, but I'll take what I can get.
Oh, and me and my brother stayed until the credits had stopped rolling and this guy stood up and did the "Grr, argh" thing you usually see at the end of the show. Hi-larious.

Yeah i missed it first time but later found out about it and waited when i went to see the BDM the second time.
I got lots of odd looks from people walking out as i sat there watching the credits listening intently.
But who cares, they went to the effort of putting at the end i'm staying to listen dammit!

I love love love that version of the theme song...It was so appropriate to the movie - a little mournful, a little haunting - just beautiful. If it were on the soundtrack I'd seriously consider purchasing it, but as that is not the case, I'll probably just cash in my points for the sampler at the 'versal board.
