Okay, I didn’t know if we already had a bumper sticker thread, so if we do... well I don’t care, here’s a new one.

I’d like some suggestions for short Firefly phrases to put on bumper stickers. Graphics are great too if anyone’s in the making mood. I think the default size is 3x10 inches.

The whole point to this is that I am hoping to order some firefly bumper stickers online, and if some people are interested I’d be willing to send them off. Yeah, this is all in the dreamy stage right now, but if I get some good ideas I’ll get to it. Alright, lets hear them!

I think I am actually gonna make some of these. Found a place on the web where you can buy sticker-sized magnets.

I like to make stuff but I don't know how to go about bumper stickers. I know trading cards. I don't have a car to put it on, but I probably would put it on my guitar case b/c I plaster that in stickers. Go bumper stickers!

I made some bumper stickers of my own. You can get bumper sticker printer labels from Office Depot or Staples. You just put the labels in your printer like ordinary paper and print anything you want on them. I have all nine of the South Park Firefly characters on my car right now. They hold up to getting wet and stick good.

Is that specific paper for bumper stickers, or is it just label paper that you've used? If so, what brand do you use? I only ask because the label paper I use easily peels off regular printer paper, so I have no faith in my brand lasting through the rain and snow.

I found some paper at Office Max made specifically for bumper stickers. Holds up to weather fairly decently, but water makes it fade some. Also, package says it's water-resistant (not waterproof) and can be affected by direct sprays of water from car washes or hoses.

My paper is called IBM Ink Jet Bumper Stickers.
5 sheets, 8 and half by 11. Says coated vinyl bumper sticker material produces brilliant colors and photo quality images. Good for all ink jet printers. Water resistant and fade resistant. Says water resistant but can be affected by strong direct sprays of water from car washes or a hose. Also says for temporary outdoor use. So far my stickers are still stuck and looking good. They have been in rain and snow. I just laid out the design in a photo program, made it as big as I could to fit the page, then printed a test sheet on regular paper first to make sure the layout was correct before printing it on a sticker sheet. Hope this helps. I wanted to add that I did the characters on one sheet, then cut them out as individuals. That way, I got all the characters on one page.
