So, which did YOU watch? Alias or Smallville? Amy or James?

Amy Acker or James Marsters? Alias or Smallville?
I generally don't catch Alias, not because it's not a good show, I just never got caught up in it all that much. I watched Smallville off and on before, but not with any real allegiance. So, I found myself torn between watching the lovely Amy or James on competing shows at competing time slots. In the end, I sided w/ Smallville, because it introduces not 1 but 2 new super characters, and because I didn't think Amy would be on screen all that much. Hot as she is.
How did y'all decide?

Neither. I read last night. Though, I did flick through the channels and saw Spike on Smallville. He was a college professor, I think?

Sorry, but neither wasn't an option. - 5 points from your House.
Yeah, he's playing Professor Milton Fine aka Braniac. I missed the 1st appearance (Sept.29th) He's due to appear in 3 more eps this season. It was great to see him on screen again, I could almost hear a bit of Spike fade in and out when he talked..heh heh." They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

Heh. I'll toss five more points onto the "neither" option. TV stayed where it should be almost all of the time: off.

I'm getting quite annoyed at this insolence!

I watched Reunion. I can't stand Smallville now that it's started dorking around with the canon (though my friend makes me laugh with her ranting while watching that show) and I never liked Alias. So, I decided to catch up on Reunion since I missed a few eps and then the baseball stuff.

Thanks to the miracle of the Digital Video Recorder, which I get for a mere $2.99 more then the standard cable box, I don't have to decide.
The hardest part is keeping up. Right now I have some 15 hours of TV waiting for me when I get home.

I love it when an evil plan comes together, eh?
I do have a couple of things recorded, am about a week behind in watching them. Nothing on the above list, alas, but one of the two is my current guilty pleasure: Surface. Still have to watch Monday's episode in all its glorious silliness, I'm getting low in my campy quota. Probably watch it tomorrow over a beer or three, then toss in a Firefly DVD for dessert.

Funny you should say that. My friend and I watched it yesterday b/c we both noticed James on screen. I bitched throughout the whole episode except when James was talking.
Lol i watch neither shows. And I'm pretty sure that I'll tape it just to fast forward it to watch James and Amy's scenes.

'Alias', because it's one of my regulars. The only 'Smallville' ep I've ever seen was the one with Christopher Reeve.

Perhaps I should have just titled this thread 'How did you spend your Thurs nite', and left it at that. (makes note to self)

do I lose 5 points if I say both? Well I watched Smallville, recorded and watched later that night Alias. In scenes from next week for Smallville: Professor Spike says: "Clark, there's no such thing as Vampires." I thought that was amusing. Amy is great in Alias. I hope she comes back often, and I could stand to see Gina again too.

Greetings&Felecitations:
Well I lost points on that one. Missed both of them and with my recent work schedule don't get much tv any more. I do like the cameo appearnces by the BTVS and Angel cast. House on Haunted Hill with James in the role of a camera man was cool, and Amy was in an episode of Supranatural (sp)recently. Hope that Josh can find places on the Serenity sequel or the next Firefly series for them and Juliette Landau to appear. Have you noticed that alot of the women Josh casts are very slender, have big eyes and usually long dark hair? There are exceptions, but maybe I can catch the episodes mentioned above on re-runs sometime.

You get double points for both ( + 10 ) and an extra 5pts for the 'there's no such things as Vampires' quote.

I watched neither; have never seen Smallville. And I loved the first few seasons of Alias. But, now it's just weird. After Jennifer Garner's character disappeared, and came back, ...
But, now Dukes of Hazzard re-runs at 7pm EST on CMT. Now there's some real TV! Gotta love that brunnette Duke cousin. Some eye candy, and my husband likes watching it too -- he likes Daisy Duke. And watching the car switches. I swear he spends the whole espisode pointing out changes in car models.
