The rules are simple: guess where the quote came from. Right answer posts the next mystery quote.
It has to be from something sci-fi, fantasy, British comedy (doesn't get more nerdy than that) or obscure cult classic.

It's Firefly related because...well, ummm...I was just thinking about Firefly like, 2 seconds ago.

Sure, you can post a Firefly quote, but that would make the game too easy...

I'll start:
"I'd like to buy some CHEESE!"

(or, from the same show)

"I don't like SPAM!"

It's probably a flying circus thing, either that or it's rocky horror. But it sounds more like what the audience would shout during rocky horror. I'm going to have to go with flying circus. Don't hammer me for an episode name or something. It's a pretty random guess.

She's obsessed with Seth Green, and has these characters that she draws (she's an amazing artist) based on three of his characters: Oz, Scott (as in Scott Evil from Austin Powers), and Kenny (the wigga from "Can't Hardly Wait"). They're really popular, and she draws them all the time. You can find it here:

Darn; I was too slow. Okay, now people have two quotes to work from; lucky you.

"We need a hood ornament."

The Simpsons (the pile of sugar episode)

How about this one:

"If you do not fix my door at once, I shall insert a large garden gnome in you. Good day."

EDIT: As an aside, the last one's answer is incorrect. That line is from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", the older title staring Gene Wilder as Wonka. Close, but no cigarello box.

This is a long winded post but it does have a point and a quote from one of my favourite movies.. so read on..

I finally got my Serenity comic the other day and after I finished reading it I loaned it to my brother. When I wanted it back from him he tells me that he lent it to a mate TO TAKE FISHING!.. I was very upset and he could care less.. it escalated into a physical brawl. We punched and grappled for about 5 mins before I finally had the better of him. I had him in a choker hold and was squeezing him into submission and whilst doing so I said into his ear my quote "Is this what you seek".. He is a sci fi geek like me and knew the quote straight away. I won the fight and a few days later when we started talking again he chuckled at my use of the quote.

I don't think anyone has answered this one correctly yet so...is it from battlestar galactica the miniseries? (you know adama asks starbuck what she hears and she replies 'nothing but the rain)

Anyways, try this one:

"There is a hole in your mind..."

Ender's Game! Bringing books into the picture; nice idea. That certainly opens things up. Fantastic book, by the way, and a much better study of disturbing child psychology than the (in my opinion) incredibly overrated Lord of the Flies. Plus, it's just an awesome story.

Okay, a new quote. How many people remember this line:

"Gentlemen! You can't fight in here; this is the War Room!"

Familiar? I hope so.

"We need a hood ornament."
