TWG-you keep taking about that sweet potato pie of yours! Talkin' ain't doin'! (Or in other words, if you sent me some, I could tell everyone how good it was! )

Mmmmm pie has got to be my absolute favouritest thing about holiday foods. I love most of it; mashed potatoes and green bean casserole and macaroni and cheese and my mom's homemade cloverleaf rolls. But the pies are definitely the best. I love them all.

I think I'll make an apple pie for thanksgiving this year. With a lattice crust. Ooh, or maybe an apple cranberry pie. I've had a thing for cranberries lately.

Oh, poor you.

It's great great stuff.

So, go buy yourself a carton of whipping cream, pop it in a mixer with some sugar and a hint of vanilla (and some cinammon, too, if you're having it on apple or pumpkin pie) and beat it till it's nice and whipped. Delish!

This place has all but died now that most of Team Random's at S2 conning themselves crazy.

*sigh* I wish I could be there.

Okay, more than one syllable per sentence, but darn near. Absolutely no information given.

Sean! What did your friends and family do for your birthday? What are your favourite S2 moments?

Yes, HP is worth seeing! There are some really exciting moments. Thrills galore!

It's my way...

Oh right, elaborate...

I haven't really done anything for my Birthday yet, went out to a pub that sells Taiwanese food on Thursday, which combines beer and oriental food, which are on my list of top ten favourite things.
Hopefully I'll be doing something more over the weekend, possibly involving the consumption of vast quantities of fermented vegetable products.

S² favourite moments.
Some of the guest talks were great, Nathan found the fact that Sean (Maher, of course) was voted sixth attractive man in the world by SFX Magazine (I think) highly amusing.
(Paraphrasing)"Very respectable, sixth in the world, who was number one?"
Sean Maher was known as number six for a while.

Apparently Nathan and Jonathan Woodward had an affair, but it didn't work out. Something to do with a Romanian Midget.

It was Jonathan Woodward’s B'day yesterday, and insisted on telling me about his Grandma who's insane and Italian but believes she's Dutch when drunk. Also Mitch, who is six foot 2, has an afro and a pony tail, and some babbling. I think he may have been drunk.
He didn't like his chair, so he threw it across the room.
He also stole Nathan's name badge and wrote on it. I won't tell you what he wrote.

I met Summer. Christina Hendricks said she liked my Shirt.
I met Jewel. I met Jewel.
Oh I also met Jewel.

I didn't drink till 4-5 in the morning on Saturday and didn't spend all day Sunday with a hangover.

I missed the Sunday morning whiskey mass. Nothing to do with being asleep with a hangover because I didn't drink till 4-5 in the morning.

I met Jewel.

There's loads more I can't remember at the moment.

But in Summary:

Birthday was okay. S2 was great!

B'DAYSEAN: That was much better! It sounds like you maybe enjoyed it a little tiniest bit. Again, Happiest Birthday That Was.

CMS: Great prod for the b'day boy. I lol and the folks in the cafe looked at me like the crazy person I am.

N0S: I was at a friend's bro's over the weekend who has a collection of Anime Music Videos. I laughed so hard he actually burned a disc of them for me (after telling his sis he wouldn't). As soon as I figure out where they live on the internet, I will send links. He wouldn't give me the links because he said they were hard to find...or some lame thing, but bro of a friend, I wasn't inclined to argue. What's the gliph fo "what comes around..." There should be one.

Hi Lim!! I've literaaly just got back from London.

*Nods* I’m officially drained….

Although, I never stopped thinking of you guys back on the thread.

You guys are going to be spoiled rotton! Jonathan Woodward and Neil Roberts were stars! They were responsible for a large percentage of wacky behaviour over the weekend. Their onstage antics were........... eye popping, and I caught most of it on camera. The BDH’s were excellent too.

There are various close up shots of the fancy dress contestants too. They were kind enough to let me photograph them afterwards.

I'm hoping to get the photos developed tomorrow, and then scanned on thursday.

They will be your photographs!

It's like when you were a kid and your parents told you that you couldn't have something and it just made you want it more than anything. If they'd just let it go, you wouldn't have cared so much, but because they made such a HUGE deal about it....

Oh yeah, there was Dougal cake, forgot about that.
Oh and people sang Happy Birthday very loudly to me in the Hotel Resturant, there was dirty looks from old people, highly amusing .

Plus, we all know we wouldn't have Jaina any other way than evil. The more evil the better.

How evil.

And it would be sooo cool if I came to S3, because I am soooo cool.

Just kidding!

I'm glad there was cake and loud singing! I'd've sung if you'd been around. You were AWOL on your birthday. Meh, I can still sing!

A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!
A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!
A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY DEAR SEEEEAAAAANNNNNNY
A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU-OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

lol!

Still don't understand about the Dougal cake.

OOH! But that reminds me that I finally had the courage to eat the canned spotted dick I bought. It wasn't bad. I'm sure it's much better homemade, but it was nice. I ate it when I was sick and it was the only thing that tasted good (For some weird reason,I crave cake when I'm ill.)

I have yet to work up the courage to eat my canned vegetarian haggis. Plus, in order to do so, I have to find rutabaga. And it's not that common around here. Apparently what Scots call turnips, we call rutabagas.

The magic roundabout was a (60's/70's?) show for kids that was blatently drug induced (boing said zebadee...).
Here more:

They are Turnips. I mean, rutabaga?
Colonists .

Spotted dick can be dangerous, but the cakey is nicey when your illy.

Okay, now I understand. And a Dougal cake would be cute!

But don't blame me or my ancestors for the rutabagas! Half my family came over from Sweden in the late 1800s. The other half came down from Quebec in the late 1700s, early 1800s. (Okay, well, maybe you can blame them. Just a little.)

Hey, did you know that one of my ancestors was Vice President to Abraham Lincoln. Honest!

I think there is going to be the third one! I was chatting with some of the assistants, and they thought it's probable that there is going to be the third one, but not for a while.

So maybe we need to wait another year or two, but that's enough time to put some money in the saving account, right?

True, true.

Gosh, just the IDEA makes me giddy!

Well, that's it. Starting with the New Year (because I know it's foolish to try anything right before Xmas) I am going to start a special S3 fund and put a bit in it every week. Even if there's never another S3, it'll still be a good excuse to save up for a European vacation. I need to get off this continent anyway.
