This was on the official board and I thought it was cute (posting it here for anyone who doesn't go to the official boards). Its a version of the Firefly crew done in "South Park" style drawing. The art is at http://www.lairofluxlucre.com/all/firefly/sp.html . Feel free to go and enjoy.

"It looks like a great adventure...That's what it is; that's what it feels like. When I saw the pilot, it was really engaging. It was exciting. It was unusual. It threw me off every now and then. I think people will be grabbed by it." - Ron Glass, on the pilot, during an interview with the Indianapolis Star

Oh. My. God. They are wonderful! Wash and Jayne are the best, though.

Hey, thanks very much, I'm glad you like them!

Based on some good feedback, I have made a few fixes to the South Park Firefly characters:
- I made Zoe's hair darker
- I tinted Inara's skin to reflect Morena's exotic heritage.
- I have made a whole new River, one that's a little more flattering to Summer than the previous straight-jacketed River.

Enjoy!
Lux

UPDATE: I have added a little Joss Whedon and also one of Kelly, the Official Site Weblog girl.

I also just added a cartoon featuring Jayne, ranting something about the "chain of command"

Have fun!

Way cool. Now, if we add some Alliance officers, Nishka, and Badger, we can make our very own South Park stylized episode of Firefly.

I made it! I took a Coca-Cola ad, removed the logo, colored Santa and other stuff blue and then added the Blue Sun Logo and the greeting.

Glad you like it, I hope other use it this holiday season too.

No need to feel silly, I think they are darn cute too, which is why they get away with so much in the regular South Park, methinks.

If I start making animated versions of the Firefly gang here, they will get away with a lot too, hee hee!

Hi folks!
Well the Wash cartoon is not quite underway yet, so I decided to go ahead and do the Mal/Inara cartoon as Stan/Wendy.

You can find it down at the bottom of the page here:
http://lairofluxlucre.com/all/firefly/sp.html

It's 600x800 so it may be large enough for a wallpaper.

Enjoy!

This sound really sick, but during the torture/argument scene in "War Stories," my brain flashed back to South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut where the school was attempting to cure the gang of swearing by using elecrical shock.

I also had this really naughty idea of Inara getting the "Cartman's mom" jokes.

Please enjoy the new Firefly Park cartoon, it's based on a joke that KVUGNG posted on the official board a while ago.

I also just updated the famous Chain of Command graphic on my SP page, made it larger and with a white background, for those who want to use it on a t-shirt.

The page is here: www.lairofluxlucre.com/all/firefly/sp.html

What? Can it be true?

Yes! After three-and-a-half months of famine, I have another Firefly Park comic ready!

The idea for this one came from the episode "Shindig", right near the end when the crew is about make their escape from Badger and his men. Could be that Kaylee is not quite focusing on the plan.

Enjoy!

I'm not able to upload to my main site for the moment, so you can see them temporily at this site, until I gain access again:

Also, Not really a whole new cartoon, but something inspired by The Message:

I mailed these off to Adam and and he replyed "You are a riot." :-)

Serenity Park still exists. There are four pages described as "conceived by Lux Lucre; comic by Wydraz" at www.webcomicsnation.com/serenitytales/st_serenitypark01/series.php

There are also other Firefly comics done in other styles. Select from the drop-down menu.

Wow. This might just be the oldest FFF.net thread ever that was dragged back into life. Slightly over 9 years ago since the thread was started.

I say let the link stay. If folks can't read the latest posts and find out that the links are NSFW then it's their own fault.

Of course, you could also say that if you hadn't posted in this thread, it wouldn't have listed in 'Latest Thread Updates' and no one would be clicking the link out of curiousity (except you).

On topic: I don't remember exactly which pictures the link contained but I believe I have some/all of Lux's images in an archive somewhere on one of my hard drives. But I'm also sure that they are still available online so a general search might be in order.
If you still have no luck then let me know and I'll start an expedition to look for my files.
