Mine has been on my car now for 6 months, they still look as good as when I put them on.
paypal is set up on the site, if you want the serenity one you have to send me an e-mail i did something wrong with the html so all that can be ordered from the site is the blue sun one soo order and then e-mail me to confirm which ones you wanted.

Any chance you'll be doing the Serenity movie logo ("Serenity" with chinese characters)? I've been thinking of doing a homemade makedo kinda thing to put on my car over the brake light in my car's rear window but if you're on it, I'll wait. Definitely interested if you're making 'em. I'll be ordering a serenity (ship) decal.

for whatever reason, they left the blue sun logo a free for all, ask Lost_thought he can tell you the technical end of it. there serenity logo i offer is prolly in the grey area, its no quite the ship, its an artistic rendering.. again ask lost_thought he could explain it better

It's pretty funny. In the 17 years I've owned my own vehicle I never put any stickers on them. This will be the first (except parking permit decals). I've found myself doing a lot of firsts after finding Firefly. I'm enjoying this whole fanboy life .

Seems a bit steep but they are great quality AURaptor. I have seen decals sell anywhere from $2.50 - $6.00 each in stores and on Ebay.

If you buy them you will be very happy with them. I love mine. I was sitting at a stop light the other day when someone next to me blows their horn at me. I roll down the window and these two ladies proceed to tell me they are huge Firefly fans and love the decals. How shiny is that? To meet fans in traffic!

Hey Artcat! got the decals, and they're real shiny!! Just have to figure out where on the car to put them. Just got a new(ish) car, and I put my Apple sticker, my sorority cling, and a happy bunny (crazy doesn't even begin to describe it) and a "warning - beware of girl with sword" on so far. Have a minpinrescue.org (with cute dog head) and my OSU and USF stickers to go...gotta figure out how to put Serenity and Blue Sun on, and leave a nice space for my planned big "screaming bagpipes" logo from Enter The Haggis for the back window!

Did I mention I'm having way too much fun with this car already?

I think I'm going to put Serenity over the 3rd brake light area so when I stop, she'll light up real purty...Blue Sun may get a place of honor on a side window in the back. Decisions, decisions!

the new BlueSun decal is the same design but its

Just got the two decals I ordered today and put them on my truck! First off, super great quality work you've done, artcat.

I wish I had more than a crappy old digital camera to take pictures with because the snaps below don't do justice to how deep the blue is on the Blue Sun and how blazingly white the Serenity decal is. Also, the detail on both of them (but especially Serenity) is absolutely amazing!!

They look so much better in real life than in these pictures.

I'll definitely be ordering more in a couple of weeks to keep as backups .

Got my decal. It's totally rad. I'm really anal about my car - I've NEVER put anything on it but colorforms-type parking decals, which is what I thought this would be.....but it's adhesive. OH WELL! Glued that puppy right on there. Shiny! With my NERV parking pass on the other corner of the rear window, I am well equipped for travel anywhere in the 'verse. Hooray!

Actually nto sure how I want to do this, i was thinking about offering up the iron on transfers with directions on how to apply them which would make the price significantly lower, since yall would be ironing them on your own shirts (browncoats on a budget or cheap ones like me!)

the other two options are me print them on t-shirts, or yall send in t-shirts I apply them and send em back...
what do you guys think is the best option?

The cafepress and zazzle sites where people can pick their thsirt color/style/size are very popular. I think it is a great idea to offer the transfers themselves, though. I am pretty particular about my tshirts, so I would love to have the option of putting the design on whatever I want. It's a shiny design, too. I would definitely order one or two transfers.

I have been getting a few special requests on anothere board, wanted to check here and see if there are any other special requests while im busy figuring up prices.

someone has asked for a full back window of his car serenity. Which is totally possible I just need the maximum measurements for the size you want serenity to be.

Also, I can get my hands on frosted glass vinyl but its pricier than the white and the blue.

also any special requests for the iron ons? I can provide a larger or smaller serenity on request.
and keep checking in with me several new designs in the works!

Hey, this has been driving me nuts...

I want to have a Firefly-themed decal for my iPod (regular-sized 30 GB model) and/or cell phone (fairly new Nokia - anything an inch or less wide and less than maybe three inches long would fit, I believe). I still haven't found a person yet who can make one, though! Think you could, especially if I wanted it preferably before the 29th (but it wouldn't NEED to be before then, of course. It's just that I'm going to the FX Show, and I'd love to have it/them on them for it, since Alan and Summer are both going to be there! :D)?

yes I can make one, keep in mind it will not last as long as it would on a car (think years) because your phone gets a lot more wear and tear of things rubbing against it.

I know I cannot do the serenity ship any smaller as it is highly detailed. I can attempt the serenity shield (I advise not choosing this one as it has lots of little pieces that can fall off)

The best ones for this would be the bluesun logo, shiny, the kanji, or the class code

Well, the cell is pretty much restricted to either a 1x1 inch square or about a 2x1 inch or 2x1.5 inch vertical (because there's a little indented section on the back)... maybe a tiny Blue Sun logo (blue, I guess), or a vertical Serenity kanji, or a larger Blue Sun logo? I really like the idea of Nokia being owned by Blue Sun.

The iPod has a space more than 2x3 inch vertical, but I like seeing the iPod info at the bottom, and the word "iPod" is in the middle of the back, so either a 1x1 inch square (if I could get Blue Sun - white or blue would work) or a maximum 2x3 inch design that has a solid middle. The outline of the ship would be nice if we went with this one, maybe in black since though the back of the iPod is silver, the front is black. In fact, for the iPod, let's go with that last one. 2" horiszontal, 3" vertical on the iPod.

For anyone looking for great BDH decals Artcat is the one to get some really, really good ones from. I've had my Serenity Kanji on for three years now and it not only looks good but has had no issues whatsoever.

Reminds me. I need to order more after the Con.

Well, the Dinosaurs won the poll, sooo expect a Dinosaur sketch out of me shortly soon to be followed by a Dinosaur Decal on my website :)

If you wish to have it faster than first class mail can get it to you, you can now select domestic priority mail Shipping if you are inside the United States for $5 or, you can select International if you are outside the United States for $13. If first class mail works for you, then just put decals in your shopping cart and ignore the extra shipping options!

Also, keep your eyes peeled, the dinosaur decal is in the works and will be appearing towards the start of the new year!

There is just something about dinosaurs that makes me grin like an idiot. Stegosaurus has long been my favorite. I hope yall like them

I stick with the solid 1 color decals because they are way more durable and do not fade after 6 months - a year like hte full color ones. Also, I cannot do the full color of the logo, I do not have the licensing and I believe 'Versal would rightly come down and serve me a cease and dissist.

As for decal sizes, I can make decals in just about any size someone wants, right now I'm doing a massive custom design to fit the windows of a camper truck :)

I have actually discovered that an "artfully" applied coat of acrylic laquer protects coloured decals, and aids them in resisting the ravages of U.V.
Nonetheless: I'll shoot you a line for a vehicle version of the Serenity logo.
I'll let you know the reason I asked about the coloured version: I am rebuilding a old Bicycle to new condition (A 1970's Raleigh; I do this stuff as a hobby), and am planning on making it my "pleasure wheels" (avid cyclist here).
I am looking to placing (and thus "christening"/naming the bike) the Serenity coloured logo on the top-tube (on each side).
The coloured logo will match the deep cherry red that I'm painting this bike nicely...
This is going to be a fun project, and a good ride when finished. So I thought naming the bike after "Our good girl" would be, well, SHINY!

I understand that licensing is an issue.
Might get one of my Companies decal suppliers to do a "one off" run (Expensive; but worth it).

Decals will be available at both upcoming events: ComicCon and DragonCon. If you attended WonderCon you may have seen them there too!
