Hi Mark, I was told recently that you lurk on this board so I thought I'd say hello, ask how you are and whether everything went well with the birth of your (relatively) new baby. Hope you and yours are al well and happy.

Just in case you're wondering, we met at starfury Serenity at the and of April, that 's how I know about your baby.

Moreover, Robin Sachs says hi. I realise you may have seen Robin since he gave me the message early in May, but hey, just doing my browncoat bit here.

Not always, in Lover's knot he plays best friend to Adam Baldwin's character, who'se nme I can't remember at the mo. In Evil Eyes he plays one of the victims, once again to a character played by Adam Baldwin. Lover's Knot is quite funny, and available from Amazon.com on VHS only in case anyone's interested.

Sorry for the Question my Friend put up. I with you it not our business. The movies I see of Mark's are Boa an OK movies, Deep Shock also an OK movie, Megalondon I liked it, Evil Eyes OK movie, Unstoppable loved it, Lost Voyage OK movie, In The Name of the father a great movie, For TV Show I have seen are The X Files great, CSI great, CSI NY great in that one, Medium OK, I hope he gets on CSI Miami. I have not seen Firefly or the other stuff he has been in. Can you believe I loved The Invisible Man, Monk, Las Vegas. Has anyone seen the movie that He Director I have not been able to find it. What other TV shows would you like to see him in? They would only be from ch 2 to Fox 29 & WD 49 I have no Cable yet.

What is "From Russia to Hollywood" documentary about and what channal was it on. I know his father is an actor does his mom act? So why was he not in the movie if he was in the t.v. show he should have been in the movie.

From Russia to Hollywood is a documentary about an acting technique brought to Hollywood by two Russian men, Michael Chekhov and George Shdanoff. A ton of very,to very, very famous actors talk about it, including Mark and his dad William Morgan Sheppard,who, if I've understood correctly also teaches the technique to young actors. I believe the technique they're talking about is method acting which is the very best way of acting. It could be that they're talking about a particular type of method acting. I'll just have to watch it again to see which. Sorry not very helpfull.
Nearly forgot to mention : it's on DVD, not on tv.
As far as I know Mark's mom is ot an actress but again, this is in the private life sphere so I haven't asked.

Ok, I think you're aware I'm not Mark, in my opinion he does do more bad guys than good but I don't think it's entirely up to him. He's got to make a living doesn't he? I think that means he has to take whatever is on offer, within reason of course. The industry seems to think he can only do bad guys. We know better of course but try telling Holywood that. :) Robin Sachs put it like this once: "British actors get the roles of gay guys and nasty guys" (or a combination of both). Not that I've seen Mark in a gay role, I'm sure he could though.

Well, My little sister going to have a Boy at the end of November. She is just 18 years old but I can't wait she will be moving living home w/ the baby. Hey Daniele, I'm sorry to hear youve been sick, I hope it wasn't anything serious and that you're ok now. I've just recovered from a cold myself.

I like Landen as a name, haven't heard that one much. how does it feel to be an auntie, i can tell you frm experience that it is alot of fun, sort of like a grandparents but not as old. :)

Thanks for the dates for "24" but those are the US dates Right? I wonder when we're going to get those episodes. ( grumble, grumble) The Dutch are always years behind everyone else.

Mark, do you have any idea when "Broken" will be released?

I think Landen is a great name. "24" starts on Jan 15th in the US - I start on the 16th. I just saw an ad for my "Medium" episode which is running tonight on CBS. I should be back on that show in december. "Broken" has just finished the editing stage, so a few months yet.

Thank you Mr.Sheppard I love the name Landen. I will tell my sister. I have to tell everyone I really can't wait till She have the baby. I am going shopping for him all the time. I got he about 30 Caps and booties. Than you I had a cold I have seizures disorder and I can't take anything for colds so it have been hard Best thing is that I haven't had a seizures for sometime now. I do have to say I mite need so info what 24 is all about I never seen the show before? our baby boy which our 7 year old German Shepherd is going thru the baby's stuff we buy he has his own toy box filled to the top w/ his toys and he also haves gets bones and ice cream that I make him. Now we give him ice cubs and not ice cream that I make him. Now beds are a big thing he has an Igloo in one bed room and then he is going to be getting a dog Sofa Bed. He will be get some new toys when we come home w/ Landen he also gets a pool for summer too. Danielle

Hello Mark

This is for Mr. Sheppard how does the first grader like school so far? Boys or girls? What are your kids names? How old? Do you have any that are in middle or High school? My Mom said I have been going to school since the age of 3. I am not joking.
It isn't any of my business I was just asking I am going to be done w/ my schooling for child care that what made me ask. Nowadays I ask that Q to everyone I see. After I had my fun in school and got out alive I started home collage schooling for child care almost finished too. My doc told my Mom & me that I have to not get Stress out and going to collage would just be too stressful so we fond this school that sends my books and I take the test on line. Some times I just once would like to do things that I will never be able to do like Have a Drink, I'm not big on smoking can't anyway, No taking any med. for colds ect. I just hope I could meet someone that doesn't think of me as no fun. When (time)is 24 on?

and no your not the only one, I have a habit of jumping up and down when I see a FF character on TV (or serenity) I was watching Numb3rs the other night and realised about half way through it was Mr Universe, I got all excited.... in fact i jump up and down and pretty much anything, not easy considering the mighty chest (my super powers) i have.

Thank you again for the information. I've found out that we're not terribly far behind with 24 so I should be able to watch your episodes of that a few months after they air in the US. The BBC is kind enough to air Medium at the moment so, fingers crossed they keep airing that. :)And then there is of course the possible sequel to Serenity... here's hoping!

I didn't know Kiefer Sutherland was in a TV show till I looked up 24. I have know clue what the hole show about but I am going to tune in to see mark. You know, the other day, the day before Halloween, I believe, I was watching 13 Ghosts and then it was getting close to the end so I took some NyQuil because I was sick. Then, the next movie came on and I picked up the remote to turn it off, but then across the screen, it said Mark A. Sheppard and I was like, "Hey, what's this movie?" And it was Lost Voyage so I stayed up and tried to watch it as long as possible before the medicine knocked me out. I admit I didn't last long. The crew just got to the ship when I went to bed. My bed's in a loft, so I wanted to be somewhat conscious when attempting to climb it.

But, hey Mark! Keep up the wonderful work!

I saw Lost Voyage it was an OK movie I was a little mad Mark got killed I think when they get on the ship. 13 Ghosts is a great movie I love scary movies. Anybody see The Skeleton key or Stealth? I just rented them and they were great. If you like Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel, Josh Lucas . Kate Hudson is in The Skeleton key. They were both good to me.

Yes, of course, source of all things Mark Sheppard and any other actor/actress you want. :)
Also I think Sean Harry said that if you click on an actor/actress page on imdb it's good for their career. Their status goes up and people take note, the actor/actress in question gets offered more work.

I really don't see myself as a stalker, more of a careful fan. :)

Nothing in my Jacket I am going crazy. Well, I am trying to get the low down on 24 but it's not going good. I just can't get into 24 it's like going to a movie and tell someone you have to us the little girls room just to get out of sitting there. I was really mad that Mark was killed on the movie Boa I just saw Unstoppable and it was a great movie I was mad they killed Mark. But has anyone seen Megalodon it great. I am going crazy w/ my final project for my child care class then I Graduation YA YA YA. If anybody ask my Mom what I did to relax I rented Mark's movies. When I was in Middle and High school she would take away my school books when I was working too late or if I get too stress.

Hi Mark. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know you come and check out our blurbs on this site (I'm new )

Obviously I wouldn't be here if I wasn't a big fan of the show. Just wanted to show you my appreciation of your work and of the show. We Browncoats will never lose the hope that you will return again as Badger!!

Hi Mark,

Couldn't help notice that one of your boys has the same initials as you: M. A. Sheppard. Make sure you don't open too much of his mail when he grows up, my brother hated that when my Dad opened his by accident.

They are really nice names. My sister saide she like the names too. She thought up a new one Owen.Ashley would like to know What your wife's name is and if you guys had a hard time picking out a name? By the way how is your first grader doing? Does he like school?

Hey Mark,

I have to say Badger is my favorite bad guy on Firefly, and I don't like the idea of him dying.

I just wrote a fanfic around the story of Mal leaving Badger to go work for Mingo and Fanty, but knowing you lurk around this site, yeah, now there's no way I'm gonna post it.

No offense, but I like you too much to do that...

Gedeon, you should post your Fan-fic. I am pretty sure that Mark Sheppard wouldn't mind. He is an actor after all, and not a Firefly script writer. I certainly don't think he is going to show up at your place wearing a bowler hat, surrounded by heavies saying 'I hear you have been telling lies about me'.

Perhaps he wouldn't have the shiny hat, but I'm always weary of those little guys: they tend to aim low, and I'm a tall guy...

Yay! We get more creepy Dr. Walker on Medium in the upcoming episode "Doctor's Orders" (S2Ep12).

It looks like we won't see it until January though; MAS please give us a heads up if you hear the air date in advance. I like Dr. Walker but 1) he's kinda like Badger crossed with a Reaver (which is a mite unsettlin'); 2) I hope we get more of YOU! MAS as Dr. Walker rather than mostly other "bodies"/actors!

This week alone on UK TV we've seen Mark guest starring in new "Medium" and "Monk" episodes - strange the way these things come up.

Glad to hear the boys are doing well, Mark, and hope they enjoyed/will enjoy the book of English fairytales.

It was sweet to hear that you really wished you could have come to the Serenity2 convention in November as well, but that there wasn't room for you. You know you would ALWAYS be warmly welcomed at any Starfury event. And so, as Sean has announced a Charmed con for 2006, maybe we can squeeze you in on that one? Hope so.

I saw Medium last night. You were fantastic as usual. I'm very much looking forward to 24. Any chance you could make it to Dragon*Con(Atlanta,GA) this year (sept 1-4)? Ask Adam and Jewel about it, they've been the last 2 years. We'd love to see you.

I through you were great in Without a Trace. Update about my Life I would like to let you know Mark my Sister had her baby Dec 10 2005. His name is Shane Francis and he is now 5 mouths we just had him in Sears for his first photos. I have been taken photos of him from the first day at the hospitals. I really have not been on line ever since Shane was born We pick Shane up on Friday and keep him to Monday I love have him I think I would keep him if I could LOL. I am going to get a web sit up and run soon so I will have photos of my little man so you all can see.

So what going on? Well, with me My little sister is living with us again with Shane how is 9 months. What are your two child going to be Shane is going to be a pumpkin we just got his picture taken at JcPennys He is so sweet.
