So who has their R1 DVDs now? Mine arrived today! I'm not even getting it out of the envelope till Christmas though - gives me something to look forward to!

Have we all seen what the Oz DVD cover may look like? What do you think?

Missed my flight at 7 due to check-in/security la dee da, and got bumped to an 11:15 flight, but at 9:05 I see the people for the 7AM flight still sitting there across the aisle waiting to get on the plane, which has some problem or other. So, paralell waiting!
If you don't hear from me for a few days, it isn't that I'm not thinking of all of you constantly, it's just that dad has dial-up and a Lain-like computer snarl of tubes and gurgley liquid, and I haven't been able to get my laptop squidged into his net.

As for my R1 DVD... still hasn't arrived *snort* Rel, where did ya order yours from? I ordered mine from PlayUSA, shipped last week, still aint got it! HURUMPH! I hate Xmas time postal service, it's just shite!

Hmm.. It sounds a bit weird... Does your office have a policy that doesn't allow outsiders to use the phone? Does the guy work in the same building?

If you don't feel safe, then you don't have to open the door. I'm guessing that he's just using the office more frequently now, because he knows that he can use the phone there. It's a convenience, unless there's a totally legit reason. What reason does he have to use it?

Although, I'm not sure why he can't find another phone elsewhere... *Shrugs* (Not sure of all the facts.)

There's a phone by the kitchen the people can use. It only dials out locally and we let anyone use it. It's that phone he keeps coming in and using. Problem is, I can't always keep the doors to the church locked, so anyone can just wonder in (and they often do, usually just people looking for money.)

Fortunately, he seems harmless, I just wish he'd stop mooching off of us. It's annoying.

Kelly-I have not heard the pedopheliac Santa story!!!

Also, Kelly's new and I really think she needs and initiation! She'd LOVE it, she really would! (She just doesn't know it yet.)

I know there was some sort of vote awhile ago, but PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE can we do one for Kelly? Pretty please?

Well, i'm waiting for the T-shirt place to open up...

and i'm also very tired cuz i was cleaning last nite (have an inspection today) and didn't get to sleep till 4am... then woke up @ 6 for training. And now i can't nap cause i'm to nice of a guy to my friends to say that i won't go work for him @ noon on my day off(we need someone at my job 24/7) so he can help at the carwash and cuz if i said no, he was just gonna order me to sit(another term for work when you wanna get someone ot work for you) for him,i need friends that don't out rank me, haha.
Well now that i gots that offa my chest:
SP- i totally missed your post! I'm very glad that Chloe is better!
CMS- I'm picking it up today, and hopefully shipping it 2morrow or monday, prolly monday so i can beat the system and not have to wait in line. I'll throw in some chocolate, cause what good is a randomite gift w/o candy?! And it gives me an excuse to buy candy for myself... haha

And... oh! I gots a package today, from Barb and i can't for the life of me remeber the s/n attached to the name! Anyways, just wanted to let her know THANKS! Since her emails on the other computer.

That was to damned long! But that'll prolly be my only post for a day or so...

Dodgeball was v good, my bad for not seeing it earlier...

Carola was v rough yesterday but my presence and back rubbing obv helped (as did the feeding of toast by cloe *no h*) and she was mucho better so we had a li'l pick out, watched x factor and some other stuff i can't remember...

Lim- I gots your second package like 2 days later! its teh fastest a package has ever got here that wasn't shipped by a company. And the chocolate mmmmmmmmm! it was soooo good, i unfortuantely opened it around my friends kids, so i had to share... but only a few pieces. I finished the ones in the bag in like two days, sooo good. i'm trying not to eat everything else right away, but those lolly-pops are sooo good! And thank you mucho for the browncoat patch, now i just need to find a jacket that it would look good on for a costume maybe?

also, my last shift is on wedsneday nite (day for you guys) so my posts might be far and few between until i go to work in at Lakenheath(if they don't block the site).

You know that "send in your Serenity tickets and get a gift" thing?

My tickets came back to me today. No doubt because I sent them recorded delivery. Some people are planning to send them again with an explanation note, but I don't see the point - by now all the stuff worth having will be gone and I'll get crap instead.

So, bah.

And it's my last week at work this week. No word about the job I went to an interview for last week yet, though I'm not entirely certain I want it... for stupid reasons that aren't good at all.

Dial-up is a nightmare, and coming in through Yahoo, it all looks so different as well. This is not my home planet. *wails* There's WiFi at the Starbuck's, which they have the gall to -charge- for the privilege...grrrr...it makes me scorn them even more, but later I'll be paying them, because the dial-up has ditched me 3 times while writing this. Fortunately, I am handy with the Ctrl C buttons to hold the hello in my hand while waiting to see if the posting happened. *humms 'Brazil'*
I get my first baby Serenity DVDs tonight. I had the store order extra. Yippee! Can't hardly wait.
Phoenix is so strange. I get so used to the homogeniosity of this enormous unwieldy country, but there are things here that make my head spin. You can carry a gun in town here, so you'll see some guy all dressed up in cowboy gear, swaggering alone toting a six-shooter on his hip...at the mall. My brain almost falls out when I see things like this.

I was listening to the official last 'cast of season one of The Signal today, the one all about the Bedlam Bards.

They were talking about how their music came to the attention of the Browncoats, and how they played it to some people at the San Diego ComicCon, I think it was. Two of the people they mentioned were Browncoat1 and.... CallMe Serenity!!

Something I have to say about the Bedlam Bards... awesome Firefly related CD is coming out soon by them. For those that don't know, this is the same people who wrote the now famous (at least amongst Browncoats) "Ballad of Joss"

The excerpts they played on The Signal were enough to convince me it's worth getting. The instrumentals are very good, especially the workings of existing songs like River's Dance and the "wedding dance" from Our Mrs Reynolds. And the Rock Garden one sounds good too.

I gots a Serenity DVD today!! Picked it up with BSG season 2 and got 10 bucks off! Coupons on combos are always the best way to get viewers, i think.

Now its time to watch the extras, and see the goodness that is the DVD!

I met the Bedlam Bards as I mentioned previously and they're shiny people. Cedric's great! So, definitely worth promoting! They're great to watch, their songs are fun and all audience participation-y (yeah, so NOT a word. Oh well.)

I'll have to listen to that later.

I have been living primarily off Christmas cookies the last few days and I can feel it. Bit nauseous today. But I just can't say no to Christmas cookies! *sigh*
