Canadian's sci-fi cable channel, SPACE: The Imagination Station, will be airing episodes of Firefly weekly at 9:00/8:00pm CST beginning Monday, September 8th. Furthermore, all episodes (including the US unaired episodes) will air in the correct order as originally produced and not in the order that was aired on the FOX network.

This is the best news I've had since........................................the last time I had good news that was really good.
It's late.
And I'm tired.
Way to go, country that I live in! We love ya you big mountainy, snowy bastard!

you know, if this keeps up, we will indeed have a platoon of browncoats, and every single one of them torqued off because the series ended too soon.
I found the way, by the sound of your voice--so many things to say.
These are only words. Now I've only words. Once there was a choice.

Platoon?! At this rate, we'll have a brigade! Any chances of our world neighbors picking up Firefly, since we Americans failed dismally at being entertained by quality television?
Viva Firefly

let's hope so, and let's hope they share - syndication can be a wonderous thing. the Brits kept Dr. Who alive for more than a quarter century after all.

Sharing wouldn't be the only rub, having an American station pick it up after it was offered to us would be a hurtle too. Damn, why didn't I defect to Canada when I wasn't married? I could be home in Nova Scotia drinking Molsons (actually, more like Corona) and waiting for Firefly... Lets hope that Firefly takes flight again, one way or the other.
Do they serve Corona in Canada?

That's great news, if only SPACE had enough $$ to pay ME to make new eps! Oh well, only 5 months till we see it on DVD anyway.
I personally can take a little (probably very very little ;->) credit since I emailed them a couple of times to beg them to pick it up while it was looking for a new home back in Jan.
FWIW, Mondays at 9 they are showing Brimstone - another interesting show that got axed pretty quick.

Three cheers for Canada's SPACE! After months of writing them asking them to air Firefly, now here is the proof that writing letters and e-mail are worthwhile. Most shiny news indeed!

GO-SE!!!!!!
When in the black will Serenity be back in American air space!?!?!?!
Yes, I said 'bring lawyers, guns and money'. Sorry I left out the part about shooting the lawyers after I got the guns and money. I take
Shakespeare a little to seriously.

WOO HOO for us!!!! It's too bad Canadian tv can't afford to produce a show like Firefly on their own. I wonder if they'll show the eps in widescreen format?

Isn't Starhunter a Canadian produced Sci-Fi series?

Hmmm, so it is. I don't think it's a Canadian company alone though. I was thinking of the inevitable cancellation of Due South once it was dropped by CBS. Canadian produced tv relies heavily on government grants and after the announcement just a few months past that there will be less money available, I think fewer shows are being produced. But hopefully someone (with money and a production company eager to make its mark) will notice when Firefly has tremendous success on Space and everywhere else it airs.

I went the web site and not only is it listed in the re-run section of show listings. If you go to September in the calendar. You can find it listed. They are doing Serenity in two parts.
It is real now. I can't wait for September.
Keep Flying. See you in the world
