Four. One from Amazon and 3 from Blue Sun...er , Wally-Mart . All widescreen . Walmart had a limited number of twin packs bundled with a 2-disc edition of The Hulk . Being the Jennifer Connelly fan that I am , I gathered as many of the twin packs as I could find , for re-distribution to my more worthy friends .

Well, as my parents and brother had come over for Christmas day, I was showing off my Serenity DVD, to which my brother raved about how it was a great movie...and my response was, "Then go BUY it!!!" So he's gonna, so add +1.

And then, I noticed something about my DVD cover. It said "Full Screen Edition." Well shoot, I meant to get the Widescreen. So my mother says, "Well just take it back and exchange it." To which I say, "Uh, no...I'll buy another one and have both copies. The more of these that are sold, the better our chances to bring it back." So, add another +1.

It gets even better...as I was explaining to her that the movie was from a show called Firefly and a whole society of us want to bring the show back, she actually says, "Oh, yeah, I remember that being on. I watched a few episodes and liked it." WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I work at Best Buy, out of the 164 Widescreen and 90 Fullscreen, we are officially sold out at the Henderson, Neveada store!! WOO!! We have a 150 Widescreen on the way though! So not to fret, everything is Shiny! More Browncoats shall be recruited soon enough!

Funny story, a lady came in asking for Firefly for her son and had no idea a movie was made, I told her about it and she bought it! Not really funny, but happy!

As the story goes, I was waiting after midnight at the Wallmart in Murfreesboro, TN to buy 9 DVD's (already counted) of the BDM. 20 minutes later the clerk comes out with a box of Serenity DVD's. After driving an hour home I popped in the DVD to watch it was a full screen. All of them were full screen. next day I had to send them out for Christmas. So I had to buy a wide screen. Just as a side bar, 3 of my childern had never seen the movie and now are big fans. My son said it was "crazy and great".

PS : I posted this in another dvd thread but just in case, when I originally went to buy my copy at Blockbuster (had a gift certificate :P) they were completely sold out. As was every other location in the city (Halifax, Nova Scotia).
