hey all, I am the guy who made the Previous FireFly Mod for freelancer, and I really need your help.

I've dicided to make a full Firelfy Universe MOD, with everything i could think of from the FF universe. But I am desperately in need of ppl that can help me make this MOD a reality.

I'm useless at programming and suchlike, but I could certainly take a crack at compiling a full list of the places you would want to incorporate, and what we know about each of them. I'll try to put that together in the next week or two.

I can also think of a few ships that aren't on your list, though we mostly know them from Kaylee's opinion that they're garbage. Any chance you could differentiate between the "aught-three" Fireflies like Serenity and the older ones that "didn't have the extenders; tended to shake"?

I'm guessing that there's no way to actually incorporate shuttles onto another ship, and that's okay.

I already have someone looking into making a list of all the comodities and such, but a second opinion never hurt.

But what i really need is somone to make the FF system. Its just one system but very large and with all the FF plannets and such. There is a program at Lancers Reactor for this that is called "System editor" i think, that has a very simple 2d interface, that you can just point and click where u want plannets and such to go. I really need someone to do this casuse im tied down with modling right now.

And i even have a FF universe map so youll know where to place the plannets.

Can you maybe give me a direct link to the Editor? I ´m ashamed, but i couldn´t find it ;)

I think i´ll have a look at it, and find out if the programm feels right for me. I´m not a big "modding crack" or something like this, but i´ve used some Map Editors before (like the Starcraft, Warcraft 2+3...). That´s no "Yes" and thats no "No", that´s just a "i´ll try it, then we´ll see".
Besides, at the moment i´ve got plenty of time to waste... ;)

Ok, i've had some setbacks, a few of my MOD team have left or been in communicardo. So i What i'm looking for is someone who can go through the FF series and make a list of all the FF comodites and where they were seen in the FF universe.

This Info would be used to let others create those comodities in FL for use in the MOD.

Also any ppl that are can do some Modeling or codeing, are also in great need.

I am hoping to get an alpha version of this mod done by the end of feb. And Or though this alpha version would not be made avalibe to the public it would be avalible to the MOD team. So join us and help create a truely Awsome MOD for Freelancer.

Just so happens that I'm a freelance 3D modeler / animator :D most of the stuff I do is for TV, but I've dabbled a bit in game development (nothing commercial...yet)
