Yay!
Thanks. Wow cute baby sea dragons.
I'll have some brandy, but gave up the smoking thing many years ago.
Not sure about doing what's best, the other may not be an option, so the more expensive option, may be the way to go. international tower.

*leaps up with new found joy*

what a marvellous Idea!

*runs to bar and throws cigars in bin*

Chocolate cigars all round!

Oh, I like Wash, and of course one has to be called Joss, and one book, and one Mr Universe, I also want to call one Shiny, and another Berthold (its just a thing I have, have to name everything Berthold sooner or later)

It stands to reason that every member of the forum is getting their own namesake, Look! thres little Geedunk Rose...

no! Rose. Stop doing that to your brothers, stealing toys ain't nice!

Most of them, once they've had time enough to mature a bit, are going back to Australia, to help the re-population effort there, but I was thinking of keeping these two, so one is definetly Wash...

Oh citizen thank you, truly amazing mind, never would have remembered old members posts, cheers.

Oh, better.

You know i'm having a terrible time of it today. My mother is terrorizing me with a picture of Chris Barrie, all naked and oiled up (from the red dwarf episode 'Rimmerworld', she keeps holing it up and calling my name, or sticking it round my door...

It wouldn't be so disturbing if I didn't fancy Chris Barries just the teensiest bit... and I think its realizing that thats adding to the wooziness.

Hang on, I need reassurance, i'm off to the general discussions room.

Right, thats it!

*Seryn storms out of the nook and comes back after a few moments with two very large, very fearsome, very drooly, big black dogs.*

Say hello to Kai and Zeus, they're borrowed from my sister, and they will be minding the babies until they are old enough to go to Australia.

Any body going near the tank who gives of even a hint of charcoal or ketchup will be instantly set upon and drooled into submission.
In special circumstances they have been trained to break wind and melt the eyeballs of everybody with in fifty meters. (I'm not kidding, mastiffs have that ability)

You have been warned.

*goes and seats herself on the georgian sopha*

*zeus follows her to get his ears tickled*

No you dumb animal! back to the tank!

*Zeus looks dissapointed, goes back over to the tank, rolss on his back and falls asleep*

well, Kai with be guarding the tank.

*Kai sniffs at Citizen and growls menacingly*

oh, they're perfectly lovely.

*goes to tickle Zeuss' belly, he rolls back over, bats at her hand with his paw, then lays his head on her laps and falls asleep*

soft as mud really, Kai likes to play rough, don't ever tease him with squeaky toys, he likes to jump at them and it threatends to break the light fixtures.

Plus some people seam to think that a 3ft tall doggy aleapin' 'bout the place is a trifle fearsome.

wierd that.

but that doesn't cancel out the charcaol thing. you bring it near, expect to be well and truly drooled on.

By the way, my sister named them.

The babies are all borned!!!

I think one should be named River, just cos it's the right thing to do (pick the craziest one though). A lovely little girl should also be named Buffy, cos with out Buffy there'd be no Firefly.

Wow the nook is looking nice... (the pitter patter of tiny feet in gigantic boots...)

*dogs catch the buffalo, play tuggie with it for a moment, then hoover up their share so fast that it barely touches the sides.*

*Kai looks around hopefully for more*

Its a waste of time giving them anything, they almost seem to inhale their food.

I just (in la la land, or real life as I don't like to call it) had to dry Zeuss sister Kara after my mom cruelly forgot to leave the door open when feeding her, and then went out (ok, so we were terrorizing my mom, we had Random Conversations(tm) about Alan Tudyk and chickens, and teased her with monkeys, at one point I think one of us *coughmecough* may have lept out of a dark doorway with the intention of making her jump.

We are evil children.

But anyway, I fully accept that it was our fault that the dog got left out side because we distracted her.

So here I am, one huge dog, and one tiny little hand towel, start rubbing her ears and face dry, so she hides her face, try drying her back instead, and the dumb dawg rols onto her sidetrapping not just the towel but my foot up to the ankle! under her.

I think my mom trained her to do that. Revenge is sweet.

More cosy animal stories, I was holding the ferret and teasing her so she bit me on the chin, not hard, just a playbite, but she broke the skin. Bad thing was, its a full moon - does that mean i'm going to become the world first documented were-ferret?

Who doesn't?

At the end of the retreat I went on this weekend, they had each of us paint our left thumbnail blue. So we had a physical reminder of the weekend and as a way to tell other people about it (this was mostly for the kids, but they had all of us do it.) So anyway, I've got one blue thumbnail and it's DRIVING ME CRAZY.

1) I NEVER wear nailpolish (did you know that nailpolish is full of very small amounts of toxic chemicals that can seep into your bloodstream and build up over time? Chemicals that can cause birth defects and may lead to cancer. Also, if you chew your nails, you ingest these toxins which is even worse.)

2) It's chipped and I want to either remove it or fix it and I can't do either. So I keep trying to chip it off, which of course makes it look worse.

It's a silly thing, but it's driving me to distraction.

We bought a plant on Sunday for my brother-in-law's housewarming. At the florist, the one we picked out needed re-potting. The lady who took it up to re-pot it pulled on--blue latex gloves! I nearly laughed out loud; my wife just smirked.

I should have asked here where she got them.

CMS is strapped to a chair, a man in a suit wear blue gloves slowly closes in. He pulls a ridiculously large syringe from his pocket...

After numerous rounds of:
"We don't even know if Osama is still alive,"
Osama himself decided to send George Bush a letter in
his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game.

Bush opened the letter and it appeared to contain a coded message:
370HSSV 0773H

Bush was baffled, so he e-mailed it to Condi Rice.
Condi and her aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the FBI.
No one could solve it so it went to the CIA, then to NASA.

With no clue as to its meaning, they eventually asked Britain's MI6 for
help.
MI6 cabled the White House:

"Tell the President he's holding the message upside down."

well, spinland has already give away the ending, but short version goes -

The buch of scientists developed a way of testing the effect of birdstrikes on thier new engines.

They made a gun that could fire a chicken at the requisit speeds (now, y'see, at this point I was already in peals, visons in my head of this chicken putting on its little purple - don't ask why it was purple - crash helmet, climbing into the barrel of a cannon and getting its self ready to blast off) (Complete with sound effects)(buuuurk burk burk burk)

So the Amarican scientists who are developing very high speed cross country trains hear about this and decide it would be a really good way of testing the windscreens.

So they get one of these guns, prepare for the first round of tests, first shot fly's straight though the windscreen, through the head rest and embeds its self in the wall behind. (buuu..uu... uu...uu...uu...rrrrrrk...)

several times this happens, so they decide to send a full report, complete with plans, diagrams and a full diagnostic of the smashed bits, to the makers of the gun.

the makers send back a one sentence reply....

Defrost the chicken.

Buh bah dum tsh!
