STILLSHINY, got me wondering. Where are you guys from? Obviously, STILLSHINY is from Oklahoma, as is WULFHAWK. I myself come to you live from Massachusetts, and I gather that Sarahetc is from Alabama. Isn't Haken from Hawaii? What about the rest of you? I know we have a few Canadians and British in the mix. Let's hear from them too. I really DON'T want to read your home addresses, I'm just curious where you hail from, give or take several hundred miles. Keep flying. (Wouldn't it be cool if "Keep Flying" replaced "Keep on trucking"?)

Excuse me, Massachusetts is not a corner, it’s south and to the west of the north east corner. Maine is the corner. Maine is also where I’m from, so we do have all of the corners, you were just wrong about what they are.

Actually, I'm not much of a sports person either. This is more of a taunt at my nephew, who swears that football is God's gift to Canada. But the Argos - the Argos, man!
Calgary is cool - especially because there is going to be a Firefly Party and Firefly discussion at the ConVersion, which is the big scifi convention in town (this weekend, or I would be there).
But, as I'm not a rapid Westerner, I have to say Toronto is pretty cool too. Been there a couple of times; my sister even lived there for a while.

Stillshiny, that is an impressive list! BTW, The Garden State is New Jersey (Yeah, I know. I know.) After a few more posts, someone will need to compile a new list.
When the list got long enough, I printed out a blank world map off of the internet and colored in the states and countries named. It never occured to me to make a list. That's just me, though. I'm a color coding kind of guy.
Come to think of it, when I taught World Literature and grammar at the high school level, everyone in the English Department color coded their lesson plans and period schedules. I guess people who use that part of the brain are more comfortable with that sort of visual mapping.
I don't teach anymore, though. Kids suck.

I'm from Bangor to be precise - but you need the Northern Ireland part to narrow it down since Bangor seems to be a really popular place name!
Since we've got South Africa, Australia, Alaska and Europe I reckon that we've achieved StillShiny's plan of never having the sun set on Firefly...

Nottingham? My Aunt is the Sherrif of Nottingham. No kidding. It's an honourary title that moves between the various hobnobs there, I believe. She lives in Carlton Hall in Carton-on-Trent.
Me, I live in Vancouver, Canada.

Would that have been Mrs Casson (Sheriff for 2001/2)? The current Sheriff is a chap called John Hartshorne, who I hope isn't your aunt! ;-)

Ha! No, that's not her. Maybe she was Sherrif in 2000? I know her stint was relatively recent.

I'm from Hannover/Lower Saxony in Germany. Postet here quite a while ago and still feel really depressed thinking of this great series being cancelled. I know quite a lot of fans in Germany and hope that ff will get a 2nd chance.

Ah, so you have experienced Gainesville, too! I have lived here my whole life, but I'm about to be taken away to nearby St. Augustine for another year of college. And to the earlier poster who is from Georgia but currently in Tallahassee...I'm so sorry, sweetheart.
