Awwww, see this ties to the other thread, I think we're way too uptight about things that we shouldn't be.
like this should be funny instead of uncomfortable..........

Now you see, those two, hi-larious.

The other one, icky, as in un-hygenic.

Though I kinda thought that the whole idea of that get-up was that it wasn't particularly comfortable? Yes I know I'm will fully misunderstanding you...

Did anyone see the actress who played Nandi as a dominatrix in CSI? funny how the only woman who can get to Grisams heart... What is it do you reckon gets her cast as a whores and dominatrixes so much?

Thats so funny, where did that come from? oh, which thread is that? sounds funny.

Ah see I thought you meant the other kind of icky.

Uh, willful misunderstanding for fun and giggles, "it's what I do darlin', it's what I do..."

This is her third appearance on CSI as Lady Heather. She also plays in the O.C. (Morena has been in the last 2 eps.) She's a beauty, always loved the look when she wakes up the next morning(in Heart of Gold). Is it wrong that that last scene with the whip and all, well...............

I meant the new nook ...Stress and all. I found that on a 'funny pic' site , where I also found this.....

Hitting 'talk story over to the right of the main screen makes these things easy to find, like an elevator, it's why we moved em there.

The more interesting chat, for me, is usually between 9pm and 2am here, which I think would be 2am to 7am there.

well, I have a bit of good news!

I am, barring acts of god, absolutely going to be in Atlanta for 4:30pm, Thursday August 31st, 2006.

I bought my ticket, thats it, no going back now, I will be there, no ifs, ands or buts.

Whooooooooooooo hoooo!

I'm a little excited now, can you tell? Handing over four hundred quid of cashy money was a little hard, but then she gave me the sheet of paper with the details and codes and stuff on and I have to admit I started vibrating slightly.

That's what people keep telling me, but I can take it. No really. I gave up smoking cold turkey after about 10 years of it, this should only be about 3 times as hard. Problem is, giving up one thing you enjoy, makes you want to do more of something else. So giving up soda to lose a bit, making me want to eat stuff that wouldn't help. I'll just have to find something less bad for me to be addicted to.....*ponders crack* no that's smoking again *Ponders Heroin* no, not so fond of the needle thing, *ponders other stuff.....*

Thanks, yea I'm drinking water, and I found this powder stuff I can add to it on occassion, for flavour, but it's not that good. one is for energy the other is diet like meal replacement type stuff. It's not that I eat too much, just the wrong stuff at the wrong time of the day. The soda was killing me. Asperin and small doses of Chocolate are keeping the 'lack of caffine' headaches at bay.

Hmm, to get back to the original topic of the 1st floor thread...

I'm a 'nice boy', but usually what happens is girls that I am interested in refuse to date me ("you're too good a friend") and then proceed to date a string of complete a**holes and cry to me about it every week.

So I just go to my hidey place and hide away from all the mean old girls.... Who needs 'em anyway. I spent the summer at the Jet Propulsion Lab working on the next Mars Rover, and it was 1000% cooler then anything involving a girl... I think.

Day 4 of no Soda. Water. Water. 2 glasses of milk. 2 of those silly dietfizz/energyfizz powders than you add to ...yep, Water. Oh and today I had some water.

Oh and for the record, on the Vibrating Seryn thing, I went there instantly. It's just how I roll, Dawg!

Jadehand, you need to go and write some more though. I want to see where you're going with this man in black thing.

I have decided that for the duration i'm just going to be struck dumb with well, lust basically, then i'm going to burble something, then go fly the ship back and pretend very hard that he isn't there.

cause I've had it with fantasy, this time i'm going with reality.

In the meantime - newsflash, for some reason I want every one to know that I'm covered from head to toe in irridescent green/pink glitter and smell like orange blossoms.

possibly cause i'm in the house on my own and the cat doesn't appreciate glitter. Pity, she's covered as well.

EDIT: Ok, so I couldn't resist just a bit of fantasy. If the AJ thing makes you giggle, good, if not, if its just irritating, tell me and i'll wipe it.

Except in the winter when I smell like either peppermint or cinnamon.

And sometimes in the summer I smell like coconut.

Where was I going with this?

My current plan for the Tree thing, was to imply that JadeHand was once a Roberts, and help him get his ship back. as for the mining coloney thing, things were not going well, so I sorta rushed that, sorry. Cozen is a Jinx!

yeah, before JH responded with the last one I wrote out a whole post where we sorted out Cozen, everything looked to be back on track, and then the flunkies boss turned up having just got of ta wave from the real Heinze to say they were coming early. Like Scorpion said, plant the first spanner and invite in Mr Chaos.

But then I had to changes it cause JH types faster than me. (well, he didn't have a cat asleep on his arms!)

so now we'll just have to get into trouble when we do the tradin'. Wanted posters and bounty hunters and what not (I figure Heinz is something of a fast acting, vindictive mand)

As for JH being an ex-PR, that sounds brilliant,
God how many can there have been since to movie? at least three... so you would be the guy who took over from the guy who took over from Montoya? he he!

Well then you really are a pirate. It not about parrots, and hooks hands. It's actions not affectations. So that beg's the question, are you a lady that plays at being a pirate or a pirate that plays at being a lady?
As for finding your own ship, if you do go that way, I'm standing for quartermaster. Sometimes I think the Tree, no matter how marvelous, is just way too touchy feely for my liking. Like the magic crayon it grants all your wishes and removes all fear, challenges and danger. The Serenity is cool because it's always at risk. That's why that piece flys off the ship at the end of the movie. It would be no fun if the whole ship was rebuilt to brand, shiny, new. Austerity make a man / woman hungry deep down in their character.

Yes, you're right, it is one of the wonderfull things about Serenity that she's a lovable old hunk of rust.
I mean I enjoyed all of those shows like Star Trek and stuff, but the first time I ever LOVED a show was Farscape -the one with the ship that wasn't always so reliable.
That however is not an excuse to get all huffity about the Tree - I love that place! its great, its insane. I mean where else would you get a full grown man dress as cupid? OK, so my own issues meen I have to skim through the lovey dovey stuff, but all of the rest is just great.

But maybe we could in the future, get a ship, where we argue before breakfast and love is on a strictly need to know basis.

Dibs on Captain. (so I'm a power junkie, sue me) We'd have to work out someway to get Serenity (the girl) on there though, cause I'm not going anywere with out her, but also don't want her to leave her ship (and her hubby and the little'un)

Which reminds me, when are you due CMS?

Oh, and I'm a lady, and I'm a pirate. cause I say so.

lol.

You know, I was trained in the proper way to bow or curtsy after a performance as a musician. And then I was trained in different ways of bowing as an actor. When I was in Hamlet, I had to do the silly bow where you stick your one foot forward.

And as a musician I was always taught to bow and then gesture to your accompanyist, wait for them to rise and bow, and then bow again after a performance. And if you're wearing a formal gown (especially a strapless one), than it is appropriate to curtsy, as long as you make sure you drop your head.

Oh-ask LMD how I can curtsy with something on my head! It is a very amusing skill.
