There are just too many great oneliners in the show to count or to pick one, but my favorite moment in the whole series, and the moment at which I realized that I *loved* this show:

I was cryin' when he called the little dead boy a "hood ornament". Definitely one of the most funnies outtakes I've seen in a long time.

Of course seeng Ron Glass with almost the exact same hair style he had on Barney Miller in the 70's was a hoot all by itself.

And...yeah I loved the outtake in Serenity that a few people above mentioned. But I think my favorite part of it was seeing the looks on the others in the scene as they realised just what Nathan was actually saying. That was priceless.

With a slashed jugular spraying blood at a rate similar to a thumb over the end of a hose, it takes 2 mins to loose enough blood to kill you. Thats just to kill you, not to loose all your blood. Quick aint it

I actually caught myself saying a line from the show....

Now, mind you, I'm a guy. 6'3" 250lbs - manly guy.
I work in a hotel and last night we had two proms and a bar mitzvah going on all at the same time...I walk into work and look into the lobby and these words came out of my mouth.."Aw, look at the prettys!" - then I remembered that all the girls in that crowd were probably half my age and I caught myself in the Wash dilemma...'Should I be looking at the dresses or the girls?'

Whenever I'm asked that the line, "Did he just go crazy and fall asleep?" pops into my head. unfortunately without the scene that comes before it, including grabbing at the air and collapsing, it just looses it's effect.

Just the other day I was talking with people who has far as I knew had never seen Serenity and then we got going with so many great things, it all started with someone saying:

"This is the captain Speaking, we may experience some slight turbulence and then explode."

It was then that I found out someone thought Serenity was overhyped, apparently the way people had spoken of it he expected to have:
1 three hours of total enjoyment leading up to it
2 three hours of total enjoyment during it
3 three hours of total enjoyment after it thinking about it.

Then it didn’t last three hours and thus broke down at step two.

My goodness - there's sweetalkers coming out of the woodwork around here.

It has been worth the wait. What makes it better is sitting in a room full of browncoats who know when to laugh, aren't afraid to cheer and might even sing along with the new instrumental arrangement of the theme song at the end of the credits. It's spoiled me for seeing it in my living room, wide screen TV or not. Might have to remedy that.

I have just surpassed my sister's record of seeing "Sound of Music" in the theater at the time of its original release in 1967... She saw it seven times.

Does seeing it that many times make the hard parts easier to deal with? No. Actually, it's worse because now I know they're coming. But the good parts are simply too good to miss.

As so many have stated their are a lot of excellent quotes. Probably because the writing was so good.

A long sentence to put together for Jayne and yet Jayne states the facts. He may be bought but he speaks with a direct honesty.

River "Fire."

River is the same if people lear to listen to here.

I would like to see a Jayne and River quote of.
But River doesn't get much as much air time.
