Welcome Firinn... glad you're here. I've only been onboard a short time myself and I haven't been yelled at once! Very friendly folks, all with the same obsession...Firefly & Serenity.....
Make yourself at home and ask anything you want... Some of the crew that have been here a while may have heard it all, but they are still willing to answer questions and help out any way they (we) can.

Welcome aboard! Glad to see you! Still kinda new here myself, but I'd sure agree it's a right friendly place. Right in the door they handed me this shiny new coat, and they've got one for you too And don't worry about being new. I guarantee you won't be the newest for long! There's more of us every day, and that can only be good!

I'm another newbie that can attest to the friendly atmosphere, but I think I slipped into the cargo hold right as the doors were closing, because I missed out on the whole 'coat and strawberries' thing. Oh well, it's still shiny to be here!
