I just downloaded what I believe to be the unaired pilot episode. If you have an e-mail account capable of accepting a 60 meg file I would be happy to send it to you. It has Buffy, Xander, Cordelia and Giles, but has a different Willow and no Angel (that I remember). It is basically a shortened version of the first episode, apparently made to fit in a 30 minute slot.

Count me in too....think my Hotmail account can handle 250MB. Anything larger and I would need to check my Yahoo! account.

I'd love to get a copy! I sent you my e-mail address via a message (didn't want to post my e-mail on the forum for bots to get a hold of). Please let me know if you don't get it!

And thanks for offering this up!

So... Google is our friend.

Here's a couple of links to the video:

Sorry about being slow to respond, I didn't see any replies for about 3 days so I thought no one was interested. The links that rabit posted work so it would probably be faster just to download from them seeing as how I have some trouble sending large files from my house (damn satellite internet). I'll try to send it out to everyone that responded anyway.

As to where I found it, I was looking for the first couple of Buffy episodes on Bearshare ( www.bearshare.com). I stumbled across that pilot and thought why not?

I was able to download those after a few tries. That's pretty funny! Glad they replaced Willow, that person sucked.

I bought the video on Ebay a couple of years ago. It literally has to be seen to be believed. Words can not describe it. Well, they can, but not well.

Here's what I can say for sure: same Buffy, Xander, Cordelia, Giles, Harmony, Jonathan, Darla; different Willow, different principal, no Angel and severe lack of money.

Technically, it isn't a pilot. It was a presentation episode for the studio so they could see how the show would work.

I especially loved the 'sack of flour poured on the ground' vampire staking FX.

And that original library was wild looking.
