i was just looking at the tv guide and noticed the fox weekly lineup. it's craptastic! but i honestly don't see too much on fox's lineup to compete with other network shows (they've got nothing). wouldn't it be totally ironic if they approached joss for talks to restart the show?

But they won't. It's cancelled. Sorry.

Well, if Family Guy makes it back, as the rumors seem to indicate, Firefly may also have a shot at re-airing. Regardless of our evaluation of the intelligence of your average Fox Network executive, they are extremely sensitive to things that make money. Both Family Guy and Firefly have made quite a bit of money in DVD sales, there's no reason to assume they wouldn't also sell advertisement slots should they be added to a future broadcast schedule.

No power in the 'verse can stop me.

Family Guy has a major advantage in that it is cheap, and doesn't require actors for a long period of time (out of curiosity, anyone know the "shooting schedule" for animated shows? Is it all scripts then voice (or pencil then voice?), chunks at a time, or on a weekly basis a la live action?).

Its a good thing for Fox that 24 is such a great show----if it wasn't, I wouldn't watch anything on that network.

I gave Tru Calling a shot, but it really didn't grab me.

I say let's wait for the movie to come out. If it's the hit I'm sure it's going to be, maybe they'll bring it back. I just hope if they ever chose to, they keep the same cast.

Is this thread in Troll Country just because of SPACEANGLER's comment? Or is it because we all just don't like Fox anymore and would rather see our BDH's on a better network? Or is it something else that I missed?
I'm just curious. I think having this forum to banish trolls to is brilliant, and most of them I can tell why they ended up here without much trouble, but a few make me wonder. Or should I just sit back and not be too curious? Maybe I'm just too tired to think straight...

nah, this thread was in the Troll Country when I replied to it. I think it was accidentally started here, wasn't there a duplicate thread? Well, never mind, it's not like threads with this exact content are new.

On the plus side, hey, I remembered my old e-mail address and can logon again!
