I rented Serenity a few weeks after it released on DVD and fell head over heels in love with the Characters and the 'verse.

I quickly bought the Firefly series and fell even more deeply in love. Since that time I am quickly converting most of my close friends and even people at work !!

I have been a lurker here for quite some time, but i have something worth posting here. I am a big HomeTheater geek and have been closely following HDDVD and Blu-ray development.

A man in the AVSForums posted a screenshot from his front projection system, that I simply had to come here and post ASAP!! This is a photo of his screen from the HDDVD of Serenity, with my favorite character. This is almost enough to me me rush out and buy HD-DVD!!

I apologize for the large size of the picture, but it loses effect when shruken down. Please let me know what you think of it.

I'm a Home Theater Geek too!
Had to get a projector and a fairly big wallscreen to quench my thirst!
now that image...
Seems like I really have to buy that HD-DVD Player... I wasn't certainly planning to get one soon but... might want to dig up my reserves sooner than expected!

This whole Firefly/Serenity thing will make us all go bankrupt, sooner or later..

Yes, I agree that HD image looks really sweet, and the clarity is nothing short of amazing !! I was planning to hold out for Blu-Ray but now... who knows.
