I used to play Warlords 3 back in the days, and some Heroes of Might and Magic, don't remember which parts.
I sort of lost my appetite for strategy games, expecially when every on of them seemed to have to be real time all of a sudden (Warcraft, Startcraft...).
But I played through Battle for Middle Earth nonetheless because I love LotR, and it was meant to be for casual gamers. I may be a hardcore gamer, but not when it comes to strategy games, so I liked it. A lot, actually. Part 2 is supposed to suck, though.
But that's about it. I was thinking about getting that Star Wars strategy game, but that was before I found Serenity. Now I find it much less appealing.

Settlers/Knights and Cities of Catan
Empire Builder
Blockus
And, believe it or not...the BtVS board game is a pretty good strategy game.

Like strategygames, both turnbased and realtime. Play alot of strategy board games aswell with my friends.

that is an amazing game ( my dad bought the 3d version which is just amazing)so is warhammer 40k but i still like playing master of orion 2 civilisation 2 warlords 2 all of which are miles better than the later versions who cares about the graphics when the game it self sucks or is just who can click the mouse faster

Yhea some games should never have been made but there is some pretty good games with crap graphics

I personally like finalfantasytacticsadvance and fire emblem sacredstones
