To the music she swayed and she pranced

But someone stole Simon
She followed as if in a trance

This village here needs a doctor
I'm just a teacher, sort of a proctor
Here your journey should end
Help these people to mend
Your free to roam, this door we won’t lock her

This little girl has had a bad time
She witnessed her mom do the crime
Now she doesn't talk
But we went for a walk
She told me, but all with her mind

A witch is what you must be
The bible does tell about thee
We must cast you down
We'll have no witches around
And soon Simon will see

A post holer is for digging posts
A must for the host with the most
We will start a big fire
Maybe 4 feet or hire
And River, I am afraid we must roast

Stop! You can't do this thing

Our sorrow for Wash will not cease
At his death, our foreheads did crease

And dinosaur skit
Made us laugh and consider juggling geese.

Mal walked back to check on his ship
And was suprised by gyrating hips
Engines may make her hot
But she knows quite a lot
And gets the job as her dress re-zips.
(not sure if re-zips is a word, but what can you do)

Hello FMF,

Yep took a little break myself. It's funny but when I come to this thread sometimes a little verse will come to me very quickly then at other times I only get two or three lines and have to send a while fitting the last two.

Anyway its a very fun theard that you've started. My hats off to you.

Also I've enjoyed your thread about Saffrin in the TRASHED esp. I thought that she looked a bit chestier too but the main thing I was thinking when I first saw that eps was how cool it was for Joss & company to bring back certain actors. Badger being another one.

Well gotta run. I've got a couple of new little limericks that won't take to much to finish and post. Just depends on what brakes around the house today that I have to fix first

Mal punched Atherton for insulting Inara,
Causing Wing to make a date with the floor-a,
He said "I accept!"
And in a room you'll be kept,
For tomorrow you'll be a captain no more-a,

In the room Mal practiced his tact,
Said Inara " there's a way out the back."
Mal said "I don't run."
" At least from this one."
As Nara swatted his ass a good whack,

The next day the sword duel began,
There was no shaking of hands by the men,
Wing stabbed Malcolms side,
To make Inara his companion not bride,
And claim himself to be the best man,

As it turned out was all for the good,
And really that is how it should,
Mals no good with a sword,
Glad Serenity hes on board,
Next cargo they haul should be wood

I've been gone for a little while
I saw all of these posts, begining to pile.
Everyone is so creative.
Witty and innovative.
Reading them always makes me smile.

Now I have a limrick for each crew member:)

I've got to say, one thing is for certain;
In the looks department, Simon ain't hurtin'.
His ice cold blue eyes,
have me so hypnotized,
I'm jealous it's with Kaylee he's flirtin'.

Now Jayne, he's such a hunk.
Whenever he says, "I'll be in my bunk";
my blood starts to boil,
my brain's in turmoil,
And my heart trips a heavy thunk-thunk.

Mal, well, now there's a tasty dish.
I wouldn't take a night in his arms amiss.
My mind gets stuck in a rutt,
when I see his fine, perky butt.
I understand why Inara stole a kiss.

Inara is a lovely little dear.
She feels things she thinks Mal don't wanna hear.
That she loves him, no doubt,
But she's afraid to let her feelings out.
One day she'll find there's nothing to fear.

Wash, he's a very funny man.
He's always got a joke in the can.
He's in love with his wife,
through the good times and strife.
Because, "Have you ever been with a warrior woman?".

Zoe is a tough egg to crack.
She's not in to taking much flack
She is awful tough actin',
but when it comes to the captain,
she's always there to watch his back.

River is a very smart girl,
with a propensity to frolick and twirl.
But if she get's in a fight,
run with all of your might,
or she might find a chair to hurl.

Book is a preacher and a mystery.
There's more to the man than you see.
Even though he's well read,
He can still disarm a fed,
then sit down with Inara for tea.

Kaylee's the heart of the crew, vivacious and merry.
No one can forget what she does with a strawberry.
She likes frilly layer dresses
as much as greasy messes.
She's our beautiful engine room fairy.

I think it's just plain to see.
The best ship in the sky's Serenity.
Even full of evil space monkeys,
and companion school flunkies,
it's the best place in space to ever be!

The group assured jayne he be recognized by no one,
But a statue of Cantons hero had them change their tune,

"The Hero of Canton has returned" mudders sang of Jayne,
Who in his absence didn't know he had gained such fame,
Upon his coming they did celebrate,
Brought no pleasure to the magistrate,
Where to Higgins let Stich go to cause him pain,

Jayne stood before the town to make a heros speech,
While Mal and crew took the goods without a hitch,
The honored of Canton Stich would slay,
But didn't happen on that day,
While the ships lockdown had Wash curse "Son of a Be-atch"

After all the fussin and cussin were said and done,
Serenitys landlock was released by Higgins son,
The boat took flight with cargo inside,
While Jayne pondered bout all the lies,
And now a statue of Cantons hero the town has none

SAFE:

On Jiangyin planet of River Mal said "Ain't this great!"
She's not good with people but with cattle she can communicate!
For weeks we were on board the ship,
She never gave them any lip,
Now to converse with the beasts she seems not to hesitate

During the sell of the cattle cargo a gunfight began,
We find the buyers of Warricks goods were wanted men,
A plot by mountain folk soon hatched,
where by Simon and River were snatched,
and the bullet Book took has us believe it was his end

Although not Mals idea they sought Alliance aid,
For Book to die had them all very afraid,
With Simon, the mountain folk were fine,
But when River read a small childs mind,
"Burn the witch!" all round town cries were made

It was very strange but Books wounds were in time attended,
The crew talked about it aboard Serenity as he mended,
The Big Damn Heros saved River and Simon,
Before the flames began a climbin,
And they made their exit, all aboard as first intended

WAR STORIES

Wash got in a strop with his Mrs
in between all the cuddles and kisses
He said "well I've reckoned
to Mal I come second,
If that isn't go se, well this is!"

Of course he was talking of going
with Mal where the violence was blowing;
he talked round the boss
and Zoe was cross
and for once all her feelings were showing.

So Wash and the Cap' went away
(not stopping for beers on the way)
They ran into Niska
and took a big risk, a
big problem for both of them, hey?

So hooded and blindfolded Mal's
stuck with Wash out in Niska's corrals,
both tied to, uh... something...
um...
I'm sorry. Mal and Wash tied up and blindfolded...? I dont need a last line. Hell, I dont even need a joke. Next verse!

So poor Wash and Mal went through pain
And Mal pissed off Wash once again
by saying although he
was Boss, he'd do Zoe,
and be better than both Wash and Jayne!

Then Zoe burst in through the door
and Niska, surprised, was unsure,
but just like Shan Yu
he knew what to do
And he tried to make her hurt some more.

But Zoe's too strong for his plan,
this "you have to choose" that he ran.
With one outheld hand
she made her own stand
and rescued her Wash, her one man.

If Niska was pissed, he'd not show it,
so like Shan Yu the sadistic poet
he cut off Mal's ear
with a smile full of cheer,
Zoe took it, but inside thought "Blow it."

Now Niska though he had a bargain,
this was like his Edenish Garden,
Mal Reynolds alone
to skin to the bone!
Mal grinned, cupped his ear, and said "Pardon?"

Then Mal showed Niska his self,
which was bad for Adelai's health.
He killed him precisely
then wiped the blades nicely
and put the toy back on its shelf.

He came back all bloody a lot,
but Inara still thought he was hot.
The Doc fixed his cuts
Jayne thought he was nuts
but denied it and only said "what?!"

Poor Wash in the midst of the group
had kindly been fixed some Wife Soup
He knew he'd done well
and Zoe could tell
he was planning his next loop the loop.

Then Mal wandered in with such class
Hit on Zoe then, bolder than brass.
She told him to take her
Wash thought "she's a faker!"
and dragged her off, smacking her ass.

The end :)

Objects In Space:

A tale of Early,one who was a bit quite strange,
And if the truth be known more than a little deranged,
Scared poor Kaylee half to death,
An account deserving castration no less,
To find the docs sister he would rape and shoot and maim

With Mal unconscious and Book knocked out on the floor,
At the control panel Early locked all the cabin doors,
In search of River he would go,
For where she was he did not know,
For his troubles he seemed to be at Simon a bit sore

Of Miss Tam they could find nary a hint of anywhere,
Seems the docs little sister had vanished into thin air,
The voice of River told how she felt,
Into the ship seems she did melt,
Looks as though the hunter had walked into the lions lair

River becoming the ship had Early all confused,
This made the girl more than a little amused,
Told the bounty hunter about his past,
How he'd always felt like an outcast,
The game he played with Serenity be one he'd surely loose

The fate of Early is now known not of what,
Lured outside the ship Mal kicked him in the butt,
Sent his ass flying into space,
Detached Mr.Early from the human race,
Floating in the black he became the verses first Astro-NUT

and one last one for Jayne

Through all of this Jayne slept inside his bunk,
Waking only once with a look like something stunk,
Missed all the CRAZY fun,
In this eps he was the lazy one,
How in the heck is he viewed as such a gorram hunk?

I pick on Jayne a lot but really I like his character. Adam plays him so well and hes the one guy I'm most like. Thats why he's my ruttin icon up top.

Yay! I've started up the llymerics again! I really want to find that other thread so that I can compile all the episode posts into a big book (but I've spent far too long looking) Anyway, another episode in rhyme. We could have a whole rhyming season!

The Train Job:

As a tradition on every U-Day
Mal and Zoe'd go out of their way
To find a rough bar
Where they could both spar
And feel better for having their say.

This one time had got pretty bad.
Some Alliance folks Mal had got mad.
'Till Wash came a runnin'
And threatened a gunnin'.
Then they laughed ‘cos the rubes had been had!

In the infirmary River was screaming.
About the bad place she was dreaming.
It made Simon sad.
She said "Mal. It means Bad"
As the Captain went off to his scheming.

Mal searched with a look almost manic
For his guilty and giggling mechanic.
She was with the Companion.
He asked what had been goin' on
Did she see the space monkeys and panic?

Mal and Zoe went to see some nice folk
‘Bout a job, ‘cos they were stoney broke.
Crow was a minion who
Liked to jump out and go ‘Boo’
And Niska was a real creepy bloke!

Niska outlined his cunning campaign
For the goods he wanted them to attain.
So they took on the job
And agreed that they’d rob
The Alliance filled Paradiso train.

Mal and Zoe got in past the guard
Though Zoe thought it would be hard.
Jayne came down for the loot
But a guard shouted “Shoot”
As he left, with a bullet he was scarred.

Mal and Zoe escaped in the crowd,
But soon they weren’t feeling so proud,
When they learn that the box
Was for curing the pox,
To return it they then and there vowed.

Jayne was wanting to leave them behind.
The others thought that was unkind.
None could argue with Jayne
When he brought out ‘the chain’
So Doc drugged him to help him unwind.

Inara helped the Captain escape
As she swooped in leaving all men agape.
She gave Mal a good slap,
Said he was her bonded chap,
And left, cutting through all red tape.

Crow was upset by Mal’s new reversal.
Didn’t get honour is universal
Mal gave him back the dough,
But the answer was no
So he left via engine dispersal.

Mal and Zoe went to take back the crate
And were met by the Sheriff, irate.
But he saw his mistake
Mal said there’d been no choice to make.
And that’s what makes Mal so damn great.

Here,its kinda late in the day,
But I wanted to post this anyway,
Some new rhymes thats for sure,
Strait from the core,
And for now thats about all I can say

Ariel:

When Serenity landed in Ariel City,
On a core planet that seemed very pretty,
No one was allowed to leave to ship,
Only Inara for her Companion check-up trip

But then it was found poor River was getting worse,
And needed more that a ships med lab nurse,
With a knife she'd cut Jayne across the chest,
Surprised the whole crew and made a bloody mess,

Simon had a plan where by to check his sisters mental state,
A scheme at which the crew had a moments debate,
To Ariels hospital her brother saids where she needs to go,
The reason for her unstable condition he did need to know,

To thieve the hospital stores was what the crew trained to do,
But a low down ruttin plan in Jaynes mind did brew,
To expose the Tams was an idea he had of which,
to be rid of them and make himself bloody rich,

But soon he found the tide was turned,
And himself the feds had burned,
The hands of blue arrived in a minute and a half,
And totally extinguished the buildings security staff,

River knew those hands of blue were very close behind,
What she didn't know Mal and Zoe "they" were out to find,
They came together with much relief at a back door,
And were all eager to remain not a second more,

Off they did fly safely and to serenity they went,
Knowing not of Jaynes foiled plan and evil deceit,
But Jayne hadn't trick them all,Mal knew of his little scheme,
And to betray one or two he'd betrayed the whole team,

Jayne woke up in the airlock afraid and all alone,
And found out from the ships captain he'd soon be but bone,
Jayne began a squawkin and tried talkin, he wanted to be let out,
To say he was sorry in the least there was no doubt,

Mal told Jayne he was tired of his games, he was no ruttin kid,
But his anger did lessen when Jayne replied "don't tell them waht I did."
Malcolm forgave Jayne just in time from becoming a crispy critter,
Then turned and walked up the cargo steps with a look quite bitter,

Jaynes life was spared that day though the captains trust was badly broken,
But of his deceit River knew, in time those words be spoken

THE MESSAGE:

Heres a story thats sad to know,
Bout an ol' war buddy of Mal and Zoe,
Mailed himself to them in a crate,
Not knowing of his future fate,
Getting home he expressed was his goal

Hearing his message the crew did shiver,
Made many a lip in the cargo bay quiver,
There lie the body of Tracy soldier and fellow mate,
For being a dead guy looked rather great,
His home St.Albans they would soon go nearer

As the story continues Tracy weren't dead at all,
For his corpsified trickery the crew they did fall,
But he were a hoarding in his person some stolen valued goods,
And set upon Serenity law offical hoods,
Bad fellows indeed as I recall

Upon Tracys innards the thugs wanted back,
For that cargo aboard, the ship they attacked,
Had the pilot Wash flying close to the ground,
And hiding beneath rock as not to be found,
But going unnoticed they also did lack

With no other option they let crooks aboard,
But the goods were by then damaged in the body they were stored,
Book told them there fellows the error of their plan,
And if they did not vacate they'd all be dead men,
An option they knew they could ill afford

They left the ship there on that patch of snowy ground,
And for once in a long while TRUE PEACE Tracy found,
Ships crew located his family with no trouble my guess is,
And with saddness abundant devilered his message,
So there he now rest on St.Albans silent sound

When Book starts to make

The Captain’s tight pants are a joy
To anyone who’d like a boy

Let his ass catch your eye
And you’ll surely wish he were your toy

Please pity our poor Doctor Tam
He’s living his life on the lam
Every blue-hand and Fed
Is hunting his head
And also, says Kaylee, “I am.”

Inara’s a beauty, no doubt
Mal wonders, “So why does she pout?”
The reason is plain
If we could we’d explain
“She loves you, you dummy!” we’d shout

Our pilot rules over ‘This Land’
Topples dinos with waves of his hand
But his mastery’s dead
When he goes home to bed
With the one who wears his wedding band

It’s a good thing that River’s so kind
Since she can kill you with her mind
But she’s really a brat
Her ankles are fat
And…Ack...I’m…choking…Gurrk
