X-mas 2004. Got a gift certificate. Bought Firefly on a whim. Got hooked, came here. "You have to check out Buffy", I heard over and over. So I did. And more. And more. Got Angel. More Buffy. More Angel. Chosen Collection. Angel season 5.

THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, FIREFLY FANS!!!

I never expected to like anything as much as Firefly and Dark Angel, but now I'm a prisoner of the Buffyverse, too!!!

YOU MANIACS!! YOU MADE ME WATCH IT!! AHHHH, DAMN YOU! GOD DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!!

And now I told myself to stay awayyyyyy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. (Never seen it before) So I don't get sucked into it as well.

Seriously, if you like ONE of Joss's shows, there's stuff in all of his shows that you'll love.

Chrisisall: Glad I'm not the only one who got hooked on all things Jossy. I did it a bit backwards from you (first Buffy, then Angel, then Firefly), but like you, I'd never seen a single one of them while they were originally on the air. Now I'm all junkie'd out on all of them. It's like a drug, all right, but in a GOOD way.

It started that way for me also. For Christmas I recieved Firefly season 1 box set, and a certificate for Buffy Season 1 as a gift. after watching FF, I was hungry for more, so I went to the VID store and used that certificate plus my own money and bought just about everything Joss's done or been party to.

Me, i got hooked with the original Buffy movie - even thought Kristy Swanson made a great Slayer, plus i was already a fan of Paul Rubin... (that crazy PeeWee...)

so, maybe we are all damned to hell... i just hope there's an old b&w tv around with a stack of Joss Whedon vhs tapes....
(on second thought, in hell we'd only get taped George Bush press conferences)....

I started in the same way..Buffy-Angel-Firefly and I don't regret a moment... mind you a do regret that there are no more moments coming unless there's a sequel to Serenity. Thank Joss there are at least dvd's to provide a small fix for our little addiction
