Thought that folks may want to know the particulars.
Where: Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty, Ann Arbor, Mi 48104
When: 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 17th
Ticket price: $10.00
Availibility: Currently only st the door, but this is being worked on. Check: http://a2serenity-equalitynow.blogspot.com for further info.
Two other things to keep in mind:
Parking in Ann Arbor costs. If you park in the Maynard Street parking structure (1 block south of the theater), you can get your parking validated for up to 2 hours.
The I-94 and US-23 junction is problematic due to construction. Avoid it if you can. If you can't, give yourself lots of extra time. M-14 in Wayne County is having similar issues.

I'm glad to see the A2 screening is going to happen. I missed serenity the first time around. I have recruited a handful of people to come with me saturday hope to see you there.

I reorganized my album, and lost some of my direct links. I'll try to fix the ones I see that are down.

Ah, ok. I was hoping nothing disastrous had happened to your computer! Almost every image you've posted went poof! That I can see anyway.
Glad to see you're still up and running

Woah! I might actually be in Ann Arobr then in prep for the summer camp I'm teaching at. I'll see if I can't convince my little bro and mom to go (as they will both be up there with me probably and bored out of their minds and they are both as rabid Firefly fans as I am). :)
The road goes ever on and on,
down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the road has gone,
and I must follow if I can.

You're welcome. I know it's posted in the other forum, but not everyone wanders over there.

Oh! Where? Hmm...I'll have to Google this, I'm too impatient.

Hmmm...Alden on June 16th, Hartford...this past weekend, Chassell (Copper County) July 7-9, Hamtramck last month, and Belleville this weekend.
Huh. We seem to be awash in Strawberry Festivals, don't we? Which one is yours?
For those wondering...Belleville's festival is the same weekend as the Ann Arbor screening and is only about 12 miles east of there along I-94.
Added extra fun: Canton Township (yeah the same place with the new IKEA store) has fireworks Saturday (17th) night. It's just about 7 or 8 miles north of Belleville. I'm thinkin' I'm having a fun, fun day! I look foward to see you all there!

Don't apologize. My friend lives there and I talked her into naming her fish. She's got the Beta of Canton, a fish named Jayne. And does he ever like to flex his muscular fishy backside.

♪JAYNE! The fish they call, JAYNE!♪

Nope, car's fine. It's work that's breakin' me.
If by some miracle I wake up by 11am, I'll try to find my way down thru the fog of sleep. But my normal wake-up isn't until 1pm so I have to assume I won't make it.
And go ahead! Have too much fun!! How many chances do you get for a mighty fine shindig like this?!

I understand that as well. We got fiscal year end on June 30th so management is crawling up some very uncomfortable spots right now. Saturday's my only sleep in day (I'm a night owl who gets up at 4:30am for work....go figure) but I decided I'd be dumb and go.
Man, am I gonna feel that by next Tuesday.I'm lookin' foward to this Shindig. First time I saw the BDM (opening day) the theater was kinda...uncrowded. But we all did get to talking while waiting for the movie to begin, so it was still a shindig then.

Eat your Wheaties, and maybe we'll see your shiny smile there! If not, have a good rest.
I'll be envying you for it.
