Previous thread was getting quite long in the tooth. With of course lots of pictures. Pity me my dial up!
Anyway I thought we could use another one, so... Yeah, let's see what more shiny folk look like!

What? did i miss it?

Yet again, I have to say where are all the pasty faced, half-blind (think about it) nerd-glasses and slogan t-shirts wearing, 'I want to believe' poster hanging, tinfoil coated net geeks I was led to believe hung around in places like these?

I mean, y'all have tans, and you climb big rocks and that guy even has a cool car!

Your all just too damn attractive.

Some one grab the foil, start making hats, i'm off to see if I can get a job load of trekkie uniforms of t-shirts with jokes written in binary...

*ok, I've had a crazy week, and you know what I was saying about a lack of self restraint?

Milk, you are very cute. And I like your car.

Another exremely lovely looking woman!

There was a discussion a while a go (could be still going on, you never know) about how to convert people to browncoats, and i think we may have just solved it. All we have to do is stick a sign on the door saying something along the lines of'Come and be a Browncoat! We're so very pretty!' with photo's of all to prove it. We'd have a stampede.

Ok, and now, I really have to go to bad.
Work in the morning. And its going to be ten times as hellish as normal, considering fridays events. Savor this bad joke, and think of me tomorrow.

Shinyyukari, I agree that London Calling is one of the best albums ever but IMO and this is just me, you can't beat Operation Ivy's Energy. Its raw, hardcore, and every song is a hit that'll stay with you. I know its not nearly as influential but its my personal favorite.

Morning, all!

DerangedMilk, is that by chance an '82 El Camino?
And I say this as a happily-married heterosexual male...you got the smirk down pat.

SisterBettyX, those eyes...wow!

RiverGoddess...I am speechless. Very beautiful.

SerenityPunk, which con was that? You look like you are having way too much fun!

I have to second Seryn here...I was expecting outward signs of geekhood, the pasty-white flesh, etc, that are the usual indicators of fandom? What we have here is a collection of very fine human beings, both on the male and female sides. PR, I second that! We are so...very...pretty!

Thank you all for showing off! It is good to put such pertty people with names nows!

Hmm, does that make the rest of us unreal? How very existential of you. If she's the only real person are we just figments of her imagination? If so then I would like to thank Shinyyukari for thinking me up. It's fun being a figment!
I wouldn't dream of giving her shit! She might blink and make me vanish!

Pagan Paul they look like fantastic kids! My neice is exactly the same, get a camera an its like someone yelled 'vogue'. To the point where in a playground she decided to pose sliding down the firmans pole, to the photo looks like she pole dancing. Yikes. But they are funny kids.

Serenity punk, hush up, in every photo i've seen of you you are all glowy and vivacious and sparkling with mirth and energy, and absolutely everyone else in them looks very happy to be there with you, so just hush up.

That is possibly the sweetest looking hamster i've ever seen, but then we only ever got the evil ones or the deranged escape artists. But she was adorable, hope you don't feel too bad after loosing her.

Kenobius - please tell me you can come to Dragon Con this year! We are having a pirate day in which we dress up, giggle at each others attempts to stay in pirate speak mode go marauding at the local bars for all the rum we can beg borrow and shamelessly flirt off the barstaff, and you would make a very dashing addition to the drunken scurvy lot.

Jeeze, first the Stargate folks want me to sit in on a panel, and now the pirates are asking for to join their crew. Why do I have to live in Ohio and be so broke? My fans are calling!

I don't know why I have suddenly become such an exhibitionist (it's quite unlike me) but I felt compelled to post some more piccies, mainly because I'm so proud of meeting such sexy, sexy people!

These ladies are as charming as they are gorgeous.
Plus, James Masters? One mouthwateringly delicious man even when horribly hung over!

Oh, I met him a couple of years later and although it's not as good a photo of him or me, just look! Hands! Hands in new places!

I have several others, including ones with 'Giles', 'Amy', 'Glory', 'Gun' and 'Checkov/ Bester' (too lazy to type real names!) but I'm going to restrain myself as I can see your eyes glazing over in a too many holiday snapshots kind of way!

Edit: Darvit! They weren't ment to be that huge! I've tried reducing them in phodbucket but it doesn't seem to work! Any suggestions for shinking piccies?
Edit again: Well, that's odd, I go away, come back and all the piccies have changed in odd ways!

Oh no, no, no! We have nothing but admiration (OK, it's really envy, but we can live vicariously through you) for your experiences!

I usually resize my pics in PaintShopPro (or just PaintShop) before loading them up to Photobucket. Once they're up on the web, there's not a lot you can do to resize them on this board (other boards let you use IMG Size="" tags, but they don't work here).

Yes! Yes, we are an item. In fact, we are very much in love and engaged to be married. He may deny it of course but that's only on advice from his publicists.

(I reject your reality and substitute my own.)

I've also got a thing on the side with J. August Richards (Gunn from Angel). I fell for him when, at my second convention in 2 years, he asked me "Didn't I see you here before?". Was he making a statistically probable guess or did he really remember me out of thousands of guests? I chose to believe the latter!

I'm also concerned why the little white box seems to be causing Monkeytail so much pain. I have a couple of scenarios in my head. For example is that an engagement ring box after some silly girl said no? Or am I way off?

No pardon is necessary derangedmilk. This particular picture was taken by a friend of my mine who was in a photography class. I wanted to play with the little white thing in the table, and I was going for a look of deep thought but it came across as a sad David Duchonvy-esque look. And thanks Copilot.

Tell me, what are your opinions on whether I should wear contacts more? I can't decide whether I look better with or without specs. Maybe I should ask the imponderables thread!

oh, its not just 'the nightlife' though that was pretty special (there was a festival on both times) but things like the fountain at Mont Juit, and in the day, las Ramblas, and La Pedrera, and Parc Guell and the other Gaudi built places - I swear, the whole city is so bright and colourful and slightly skewed. Like a high, but without having to take the drugs, theres no other place like it on earth.

yes, you should, it'll be much more fun now you're old enough.

I was going to start waffling on about the quality of the local men as well (er, give Kenobius an olive toned tan and long dark hair, and you'll begin to realise why we didn't get much sense out of my sister the whole time)
But i figure that sort of review wouldn't really interest you.

You would love it - the places you must visit are La Pedrera, which is the apartment building by Gaudi with the strange alien senital chimeny's and vent on the roof terrece, la Sagrada familia - don't bother climbing it, it takes ohours and you'll die,(but do go to the show at mont juit just after dark and climb up to the building - the nighttime views from that height are stunning!) only do it on a very tourist free day, but you have to go and see the inside of it, and look throught the museum in the basement (then go and buy your wife earrings in the market outside!) and the other cathedral, which is spectacular, but the true gem is the inner courtyard, such an ethereal place - i'm not at all religious, but i could be convinced if a stayed there long enough. Even with the geese.

Then there is this pub type place where out side theres just row upon row of origami cranes and frogs, and inside, it looks like a fairy grotto - the rooms are themed and theres strange fairy tale dioramas, and once part has a small forest and a wishing well. The aquarium with its Leafy Sea dragons! and the fruit market off las ramblass, very briefly just to see the fluorescent pink fruit for yourself, then to get something to eat at the street cafe's.

ok, i shall shut up.
