Lookie what I found!

I know that there's so many of these petitions floating around but it cant hurt if everyone signs every gorram thing we come across. At least it shows our numbers And our commitment and solidarity and unity and uh....other big teamwork building like words!

I came across this link and thought it would help if I posted it here. I dunno if anyone else has posted this before. If they have. Sorry for double posting.

Hehe. No problems! I love this show and would do just about anything to get it back on air!

Your dedication to Firefly is greatly appreciated, as I'm sure you know.I got my parents to sign it too I'm hoping my friends will, but they haven't seen the show yet. They accept my love of the science fiction realm, but basically never feel the need to get into it themselves...I'm workign on it though

I don't have cable television here, so even a shot at Sci Fi would be wasted on me. But if we can show enough interest, whatever the venue, perhaps someone will take notice.

While I understand you point completely (I don't even have cable either) at this point I just want it back on the air. If you have to you can just rent it when the dvd comes out of season 2(can you imagine a season 2!) This way you can avoid the smut and still see Firefly. The page also says this->"Though HBO and Showtime were the only networks mentioned initially, this author and all who sign would gladly welcome any network that decides to adopt Firefly." So it may not even be shown on those channels, I think the point is to get the thing signed and then send it out to anywhere and everywhere.

I am from the UK so if (sorry, when) it is successful, no matter what network in the US it happens to be on, it doesn't mean it will even be shown here. I have no guarantee that even if a new series is created that a UK tv station will want to show it.

It's the DVD that I'll ge getting, and I'll gladly buy it no matter what network the series happens to be on. That's why i'll give my support to it. I want to see it on again no matter what format it happens to be on.
