13, ‘Taur its your time to shine… take the left.

PD again signals the dragons above as the band pushes forward ever approaching the devilish horde. The dragon’s numbers split and move outward flanking the demons. Pd cries out just before plunging in the masses of varied enemies.

We aim to burn!

PD raises his staff and places it firmly against the chest of body one and uses this leverage to vault behind body 2 as Smoke breathes fire at the demons feet. Pd gazes around at the horde wondering if he is in over his head. His thoughts are broken by the flare of dragon breath from above.

Ooops… got carried away.

Traditionally, they do tend to get along. They're kind of like yin and yang. I've got a lovely picture of a phoenix and a dragon that seem to be friends. I'll have to post it when I get home.
I like a phoenix with a little fire on it just seems right! you should see the picture of the hawk I lit on fire. Also the parrot. Yours is quite shiny!
And... that's quite a lot of blood.

The dragon and phoenix clans screech miles up in the sky occasionally raining down fire; battling their newfound opponents. PD rolls into a tight ball, hits the ground and pops up, staff connecting under the chin of his nearest foe. His face covered in ash, blood, and dust, he appears indistinguishable from his wretched enemy. He knows he is no demon. (Well… maybe weekends )

Uuuurrrcckkk!

*The sound of the 'taur jerks PD’s attention. 13 had made it this far and the demons converged ferociously upon him.*

13: Noooooooooooooooo......

*Just as Pd fears he is too late, a strange whirring sound echoes against the landscape. A silver mist rises from the plain and engulfs the horde, until no demon stands. The red sky darkens as a thunderous boom cracks. One translucent being appears above the horizon, larger than the biggest of dragons. He speaks.*

Being: "GoooooooD! Excellent!" (The Emperor or Mr. Burns, take your pick)

No one is ignoring me except the people who are. I don't know if I've been uninteresting or unclear, or if some folk aren't paying attention to what they read, or maybe they're not reading what I say at all, maybe I get burried by too many other posts, but there have been way too many times this week where I've felt I don't exist. Either a reply to me hasn't made any sense with what I said, or I've been ignored entirely. I tried to join the fun at the hidey thread and a few people welcomed me and at least one was passively-aggressively hostile, refusing to speak to me directly and implying that I had no right to be there at all. I haven't felt much like going back there because the behavior persists; he literally refuses to aknowledge that I exist. It's not as bad elsewhere, but I still have had the feeling that I'm simply invisible. Not from everyone, not constantly, but regularly. This isn't helped by the fact that my life is tumbling down around me and, despite my good review, I can't seem to do anything right at work because people don't bother to tell me when policy changes because I'm like the night ghost; they rarely see me. It's very frustrating and it's particularly frustrating when it happens here because this is where people actually talk to me. Just that some of them aren't. At all. It's the equivelent feeling of jumping up and down in front of someone wearing nothing but bright body paint and being looked right through.
This doesn't apply to everyone; many people have been aknowledging me, but more people than usual have been looking right through me.
So I'm sorry to be snarky. It'll pass. Maybe if I find a job that doesn't make me bang my head on the desk.
You make a good point about the size of the battlefield though.

I blame my job. Partly. I think it's at least a little bit responsible for my total lack of human contact. Which always makes things harder. Well, there's also my awkwardness when trying to talk to people I don't know.

They're penguins. But yes, of course anyone can join! There is lots of decadence, epic battles, roasting and eating of our ememies, and of course dancing naked around the fire.
Also, there are s'mores. Sometimes there is s'more flambe, if we have rum.

Just house sitting for a friend and then kinda busy getting ready to head back over to Japan.
Friend has two dogs and ones deaf / blind so she needs a lot of attention. The other one is named Mal so kinda funny coincidence huh. Anyways just about off to see Pirates so will talk with everyone a bit later.

Yes, it is a shiny program of much awesomeness!
However, there are things about it which can't be self-taught. *winces* My ex is actually responsible for a lot of my prowess with the tools, but I'm responsible for all the practice and work I put in. Once you learn what all the tools are actually for, though, the rest can be self-taught; it's quite user-friendly. Lots of experimentation. The best thing in the world is the history, which lets you go back if you really mess up. I usually just mess with something endlessly until it does what I want. I'm an intuitive photoshopper. There are probably a lot of folk who could give step-by-step instructions; I would be very bad at that.
Books on the subject are expensive, but I would still suggest getting one. Or taking a class. Then mess with it a lot.
Can we tell I love this program? I'll shut up now.

Let me let you in on a secret; most of what I have in photobucket is not an original creation. Penguin can make emotes and I can make photoshops, and people find shiny things, and we all... "exchange" and "borrow" a lot.

How ya holding up? Hang in there, trust me it will get better. Worst comes worst if they ain't playen nice, don't give them a 2nd thought. I've been in the situation my self ---- Japan is very much that way especially to Gaijin or foreigners ie the nail that sticks out the most gets hammered down the most. On the one hand I've taken my fare share of Bull, but on the other I have some strong friends over there that are able to see past the whole gaijin B.S. and accept me for who I am. So hope things are going better for you. Oh by the way saw Pirates and loved it. A little diff then the commercials make it out to be in a spot or two, but the equal of the first. Gotta have our two Capts leading the way huh. Well take it easy and stay shiny !!!!! by the way here is a hug for ya. Time for some more drinks huh.
