EDIT: Too slow. Yes, I did stay inside most of the day and it was very very hot/humid/disgusting but unfortunately its sort of typical of central Maryland weather about now. *sigh* Someday I'll live in Scotland and never have to deal with this sort of thing again.

Unless you're talking about my dating/social life -- been stood up on a blind date once, met a guy who my friends thought was a good "match" but only talked about one of my girlfriends , met one guy at the club and on the first date he "social engineered" the waitress (dropped him like a hot potato), one I met through an online match site, went to a pre-dating thing and a bunch of the guys there planned a get-together later that I went to but was stood up at , and entertained an interest in a my friend's SO's friend until I found out his "type" (skinny, high-maintenance, expensive, outdoorsy types). Yep, I call that a cosmic joke on the scale of the universe spitting in your soup.

I have finished the work I get paid for, now I'm photoshopping and hoping to enter a Worth1000 contest (I registered a few years ago, submitted one thing that came in very nearly dead last, and something else that was disqualified and so literally never saw the light of day. I think I've gotten much better since then so maybe I can enter this time. Except you have to use pictures that aren't copyrighted, hence stock pictures. I've now found that wiki is a great place for copyright-free images. Sqweee!) and photoshop is my work/hobby that I wish I could get paid for. And obviously love to talk about.
