We can vote once a day for 30 days. Lets get some excitement generated about this so when it comes up, we will win! How cool would it be if Firefly won after 4 years of being off television! Lets makes it happen! Here are the categories that Firefly is in:

(Question: should we all vote for either Gina or Summer for best actress? Might be better to pool our votes. I think Summer has a better chance of winning, but Im personally a fan of Gina's character better. But, I think we should stick with Summer for she has a better chance because of more face time on the movie)

It's wonderful that two of our ladies made it in Best Actress/Movie category, but it is a problem when it comes to who we should vote for... personally, I vote for splitting it between them. It just seems so unfair to pick one over the other. Not to mention, how could we ever agree as to which one?

We'll need to keep bumping-everyone must vote. I'm conflicted as to which lovely lady as well. I agree though, that it might be wise to make an effort to consolidate our votes behind one of them, I think if our votes were split between the two neither would win. So while I LOVE beyond all telling Gina, I'm thinking Summer. She was focused on more in marketing materials and cover/poster art and did have more face time, so in my mind she has the most potential to get the "non-die-hard-verse-fan" (is there such a thing? ) vote. Just what I think. Because most importantly I want one of them to WIN the thing! So more feedback, and if there's a sorta consensus maybe we should start another thread urging people to all vote for one. Or forget what I said if the consensus is to split votes.

How can they ask us to choose? And what's this funny voting thing, all verse nominations should win by default dontcha think.

Christian Bale, "Batman Begins" (Sorry, He really diserves this for bringing the Batman franchise back to life, and he was great in Equalibrium and American Psycho too. That and I didn't like Mal's character nearly as much in the BDM).
Adam Baldwin, "Firefly" (Like Jayne... If I could be like Jayne)
Gina Torres, "Serenity" (She's such a badass and they didn't nominate my Kaylee )
Christina Hendricks, "Trash," Firefly (If you didn't vote for Christina, your a female and you're jealous or you're a male and you're blind/reeeaaaly enjoy rainbows)

Got an idea for consolidating votes....

Vote for one the first day, then the second day, you vote for the other! Works out to about even that way. After all, 15 votes apiece helps! In the end, both Gina and Summer have a great shot at winning thanks to our little helping mousehands.

Because OMR first aired in the US in 2002 on Fox, but Trash wasn't aired in the US until Sci-Fi reran the series, which must have recently enough to qualify for this poll.

although they're all ensemble to an extent I felt that, when it came down to it Gina was really a supporting actress and Summer lead actress in this one! It's always tricky when you have a situation where votes can be split - but the actress in me had to be fair - not blindly loyal...
