Who's everybody's favorite track from the Serenity soundtrack & Firefly soundtrack.
Mine's the 22nd Love from Serenity & from Firefly its the first track Sereniy.

I don't have the soundtracks - blaspheme I know - but my favorite music is the acoutic piece at the end of the BDM as well as the piece when they are putting Serenity back together.

I love the last few seconds of bushwacked, when they blow up the ship. Great little piece.

My most favorite piece of music is at the end of Serenity when they are putting the ship back together... that speaks of home to me.

Another is the acoustic theme .. I like that too FMF.

The other piece is any music from OoG and the funeral scene from The Message. I still cry. All these months later.

Then there is the music that plays in the background while Simon is telling them about River right after she's come out of the box.
That piece takes my breath away.. and it's not on the show's soundtrack. If I ever get to meet Greg Edmondson, I'm going to tell him that that piece of music is the loveliest I've ever heard. And that I hope he puts it in the soundtrack for the BDSequel.

Imho, we need to come up with a way to overlay the funeral for wash with The Funeral music (you know, the memorable one?).

Out of gas
the opening from serenity
and the closing

i wish they put out a 2nd album with music from the shindig since that would be a favorie also

My favorite track is also not on the Firefly Soundtrack. It is the music near the beginning of Our Mrs. Reynolds, when Book is performing a ritual over the bandit's bodies, and when Saffron picks out Mal to dance with her. Zoe and Wash together, Mal and Jayne drunk, enjoying themselves. That scene really places the whole crew as family.

I also like, on the Firefly Soundtrack, the music for the Tam's House, which came from Safe. The perfect melding of east and west.

I really like the Serenity theme from Serenity, and it is repeated in the Credits part of the soundtrack with a slight variation. And of course, the funeral music during The Message...but I think that's on everyone's list. And the Out of Gas music...okay, it's all great.

My favorites change depending on the mood I'm in. I find various tracks very inspirational when I'm writing fanfic--I've worked out scenes in my head while listening to pieces from the soundtrack that seem to fit.

Actually I forgot one piece of music in the BDM right at the end of the movie about a minute from the end is a really cool version of the Ballard of Serenity from Firefly.And what's up with everybody I love the track Love which is the piece of music right at the end of the movie when Mal's telling River what Love is,I think the music sums up Joss loving Firefly so much that he had to continue doing something about Firefly & it also sums up us Browncoats we wouldn't be here without Love.
