Depends.

Some posts that I make I override notification, some posts I do not. I have been getting notifications from others, but I'll be paying more attention. Should one want to notify somebody that one is replying to their post, make sure that the "Override Notification" box is NOT checked.

It just started today. Dunno why. I was thinking that no one loved me anymore and all my favourite threads were dead and then I stopped back in and went "HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!!!!" I am still loved and my threads have been active without me!

At least I know I'm not the only one. Misery really does like company.

I get about one notification out of ten...
I mean the last time I posted something at the BlueSunRoom I didn't get notified for the most of the comments....

I thought it was my google that was losing them,
I didn't realize that maybe they weren't getting sent from here (but that does make more sense)

I noticed that problem, too. It isn't a big deal, to me, though it was a nice feature when it worked. I wasn't sure if it was a board-wide problem or if I was doing something wrong. lol

well it has definitely gotten worse...
I used to get every notification,
and then more recently only a small percentage of them,
but for the last few days I haven't had any at all...
and I know some people have responded to new threads I started!

Hey, if you gotta belong to this club ( and I do, see above post please! except I forgot to not sign.. I hereby do not sign..) the NNC sounds like a good name for it.

It's just that the consequences of belonging to this club make me *pout* I want my notifications back!

We don't have an initiation ceremony do we? Cuz the Forsaken's do and it's slightly scary. Once you get past the bloodletting though.. the marshmallows and chocolate are great!

It actually stopped yesterday sometime. Although I gather from this thread that it's been going on a little longer than that.

I had notifications in the morning.. several, then all of a sudden they just quit.

I just messaged ( and I don't know if that works either, since it's based on email!) Haken and two folks I know might help. Maybe one of those wonderful folks will receive the message and get notice to Haken about this problem.

Meantime, I guess I'll just run like mad around FFF.net.... I can think of worse things to do with my time, LOL.

Unfortunately, I still don't get notified of responses. I know it's not my e-mail, 'cause I can still get e-mails from other people. I've tried dialing down my security settings, and still nothing!

Edit: I've already contacted Haken about my issues, and got a very quick response back(without getting notified). So, I have NO idea what is wrong, my computer is probably on the fritz again!

I tried to dial down my spam filter and still nothing. I don't have any idea what could be causing this. I was getting notified for about the first year after I joined, then a few months ago, the notifications just stopped. Perhaps it's a sign that the site itself doesn't like me!

You may need to talk to your internet provider. They certainly know more than me. I can't imagine why it would change unless you got an update and it caused this change. This sucks.
But know your getting through to us. You may be better off. Yinyang and Phoenixrose are ganging up on me for picking Jennifer Lopes for Wonder Woman. Remind me to stay clear of female super hero threads.
