I usually listen to albums all the way through and I was listening to Megadeth's CrypticWritings and just changed to Nonpoint's Development.

I don't really understand it, but music like that helps me concentrate. For a while the best music to help me concentrate was Korn's Issues; I would start the album and before I knew it about an hour passed and I got a lot done. Go figure...

I really hope that my iPod's battery holds out until I'm done at work, but I don't think I'm going to be that lucky.

I have the "Bonnie Blue Banner" playing in my head. A song out of Texas during the Civil War.
They used it in a John Wayne movie called "Horse Soldiers". Starring naturally John Wayne, William Holden, and Constance Towers. I mention this because it is an excellent rendition of the song, sung by Confederate cavalry as they march off toward the war.

Sam Roberts "The Gate" off his I think second album CHEMICAL CITY. And it's not the radio edit of it, but the six minute long version that has the build-up to it that makes the song that much more kick ass.

But in my mind, I have Tenacious D's "F**k Her Gently". I love that song so much. I want to score a sex scene to that song.

Oh, yeah, I knew who sang it...I just didn't finish my sentance, lol. I was tired and didn't realize till you just pointed it out.

I was wondering where I could find download/clips/the originals of the River Tam sessions. Yeah, I know, totally different than what I put down. Sorry for the confusion.

Trouble - Ray LaMontagne

don't know if anyone here has seen Austin City Limits on the tube, but the big 3 day ACL Fest was last weekend... it was great. I made it for all 3 days. 8 stages, something like130 bands - sunshine and happy faces - Massive Attack rocked the park...
